Sara and Adrian are awesome! Come on Sunday’s and listen to the blues and brews. Great customer service and true knowledge of their craft.

I love this place! The beer is super good, they are quick to offer a sample so you can taste before you buy. The staff is really friendly and they are great at keeping an eye on your table, so you don’t have to wave them down. I like their Red the best, their Bock is excellent too. They have some nice outside places to sit and you can order from from Unami Burger next door and they’ll deliver it to your table.
My only complaint is that they close way too early. 9pm on weekdays.

The Anaheim Gold was good, but none of the other beers struck me as great. It is clean and the service was fine.

Nice place to meet up with friends for a couple drinks. Good selection on tap and great environment especially during nice weather. Only downside is that there aren’t any snacks or food. There is plenty in the area so it isn’t a bad things, but even the option of pretzels or something easy with minimal prep time would be a nice addition.

Went here after brunch at the Packing House, which is a short walk across Farmers Market park. There was a number of people sitting outside at Umami but no one at the brewery tasting room, not sure if a Saturday afternoon is off hours for them, but decided to give it a try.
We got the taster flight, which comes with 4 beer tasters of your choice and a souvenir glass (basically one of the taster glasses). I liked the triple Belgian and the Anaheim red. The triple was pretty smooth for being 9.4%. The hef was just Ok and I didn’t care too much for their oatmeal stout, had an odd taste to me. All in all I would say the beers are good, and would like to go back and try some more. Seems like a fairly small tasting room + outside area, but is in a great location for post-​drink food at Umami or one of the many food places at APH.

Anaheim Brewery is a cool one.
After the ride of the free shuttle bus, this is a great place to get some rest.
I liked there because…
1. The place is clean, inside and rest rooms. It is a good sign for breweries and taverns.
2. Beer was good.
3. Conveniently located
4. Patio was cozy. It was great to sip a beer outside with feeling cool breeze.
5. Friendly service.
6. History
There is no need to explain too complicated things as everyone’s taste and preference is different. This place offers all the important things for a drinking place.

We randomly found this place as we took a walk across the park from the Packing District and I’m so glad we did! We paid $ 18 for 2 tastings of 4 beers each so we were able to try all 8 of their beers on tap. My favorite was the Anaheim Gold– totally wish I remembered to buy a 6 pack of that! We also received a souvenir tasting glass! The two employees were super friendly and offered to start up the heat lamps by our table since the day was starting to cool down. Their patio is awesome– super relaxing and if you’re hungry, Umami Burger next door provides a menu for everyone at the brewery to order from. We’ll definitely be back!

The hop monsters throwing barrel after barrel of beer down each level of… Ok so I had to walk past the gaze of two giant chickens and battle through swarms of ironic hipsters. Then get past the burgers next door, but I made it in to a seemingly small neighborhood brewery. While they didn’t have any quadruple hopped ipa’s so bitter your ass would pucker, or stouts aged in barrels made from the hulls of civil war era tall ships soaked in a 2000 year aged scotch with a hint of Ancient Greek olive oil. Nor did they have an unending collection of impossible to get, wait in line for seven hours for a four ounce pour super rare over hyped up anything.
What they had some nice people who joke around, some drinkable enjoyable beers made by a cool cat who just wants people to be happy drinking good beers.
I like that.
Now getting to throw a hipster across a frisbee field with a hand washing station was a bonus. He screamed ironically as his toms flew off when he got a mouthful of that concrete ping pong table.

(Group Meeting) I’m going to smack Karl, this was the best Craft Brewery of the four this year in OC that we visited. Friendly knowledgeable people, nice local & décor. The Beer, WOW!
Anaheim Gold, The Red & the Dark Scotch Ale 5 stars. And it begs the question, why can’t I move this brewery to the I.E. Hey OC Beer Drinkers & Craft Breweries! Is your brewery as good as Anaheim Brewery?

Stopped in for a beer or two while doing some reading for a class I’m teaching. As usual, they have a limited assortment of beers (8), but all the them very tasty.
That said, if you have a ways to get here without driving (Über, Lyft, walking or cycling), I’d recommend that, as parking is hard to find.

Not bad, Anaheim Brewery!
This place is rather small, has seating inside and outside.
There is nothing too special about this place but it’s a nice place to chill.
The parking is not so good.
But I like the lighter beers here.
When I came, there was no food and I was hungry so I went across the street for some Indian food. I took it togo and ate it in their outside patio, not sure if that was allowed or not but nobody said anything about it and I cleaned up after myself. spotless!
I had no issues with anybody here, people were nice.
I will be back if I’m in the area!

This is a spot right next to the Umami Burger and across from the Packing House. You’ll find wonderful service and friendly folks here. I found the beers themselves to be a little too tame. There’s a nice outdoor patio with lots of biergarten tables for days that aren’t scorching hot. The inside is smaller and very clean. Nice wooden bar. There’s also board games available. The sampler is $ 8 per set of four 4-​oz pours. If you want to try everything on the menu, it’s 2 sets because there’s about 8 beers on tap. Each sampler set comes with one free taster glass for you to take home too. The Coast to Coast IPA was especially tame and not hopped up. The rest of the standard set beers (red, gold, hef) were very palatable. The bockbier reminded me of a mild ale. The scotch ale, winter wheat, and Anaheim 1888 were all very drinkable as well.

Parking: Street Parking
For 8 bucks you can sample 6 different beers and they give you a tasting cup. The beer was quite delicious. It wasn’t terribly hoppy but I did enjoy their stouts. Their IPA are a bit lighter than most IPA which I enjoy. What I think needed improvement for this brewery was if a customer wasn’t sure of which beer to get let them sample a bit of it. I was just going to get a cup of beer but couldn’t decide and didn’t want to ask for a sample if it wasn’t offered. It would have been great if they were a bit more hospitable cause walking in was a bit awkward since we went at 4pm on a weekend. The inside tasting room was empty and we didn’t know how it worked. It was just a small awkward staring contest before we asked for the menu.
They have large patios outside so it is a very relaxing place to hang out. There is a small park between the brewery and the packing district so drink and let your kids run around hte park.

After stopping by the Packing House to grub on some food, we decided to give Anaheim Brewery a try for the first time. Place was fairly empty on a Sunday afternoon as we were the only one in the tap room at the time. The nice thing about the place is the outdoor patio seating, which you can’t find at too many breweries as you’re mostly confined to the indoors since they’re in warehouse settings.
One positive about the place is the service was great, the servers went over each and every beer since we mentioned it was our first time. Bonus points for the customer service.
But unfortunately the beer itself was nothing special. Tried a flight of the Hef, the Milk Stout, the dark Hef and their IPA and all of them were just kind of flavorless. The Milk Stout was about the only thing that was above average. Although their IPA was crisp, it was average compared to the local competition. The Hef advertised itself as having a hint of Banana but I couldn’t taste anything. I ended up coming home with a glass, but it was an empty sample glass… no beers here were purchase worthy. Hopefully they kick it up a notch in the future because the location is great and the service is excellent.

So, when you’re looking for a quieter, less crowded place than the Packing House — you can stop and take a breather at a local brewery. The brewery has seats along the counter, taps where the beer is poured by some skilled workers, and a clean feel.
Two of us stopped in and decided to share one beer flight (4 tastes of your choice). We asked for a beer rundown and some suggestions and ended up with these:
1. Anaheim Gold — this was supposed to have a subtle flavor, but was too subtle for my tastebuds and instead was reminiscent of beer, but too watery
2. Anaheim 1888 — excellent flavor
3. Midnight Stout — this had a smokey aftertaste which I’ve never had in a stout before, definitely worth trying
4. Winter Wheat — like all wintery, spicy beers, this was a great one to end the flight.
For $ 8, a sweet place to sit and chill, and a take home small glass, it’s worth stopping in — sampling the wares — and buying one to enjoy.

This wasn’t my first time visiting the Anaheim brewery and won’t be my last.
The location is great but parking can be a hassle because it’s shared with the packing house. On Wednesday nights its trivia night and totally fun! Definitely play along!
In my opinion the beer here is pretty tasty, although their list is limited, they offer just the right variety to please the masses. I do think that the beer is more expensive than most breweries in Anaheim by 1 – 2 dollars. The service was good and umami burger (right next door) will deliver! I will be back! Thanks again! Tough to grade so sternly for this brewery, coming from San Diego, but I’d have to grade this brewery as quite average. Seven beers on tap, all of which were safe and average. The hefeweizen boasted citrus flavors of lime, cilantro, and cumin, with hints of banana, but I didn’t extract those flavors at all. The pilsner could almost be mistaken for a Budweiser. I did enjoy the Gold and the Red, and the tasting was salvage by the Coast to Coast IPA, which delivered the simple classic aroma of true hops and brisk bitterness.
The tasting room is small but does have an outside patio to house a decent number of total patrons. The staff is extremely friendly, and gave excellent recommendations. I parked at the packing district with valet, and would have no idea what the other parking accomodations are, but I’d imagine it to be difficult to park and come here in any case.

Surprisingly good.
They only have about 8 types of beer. That’s okay, it’s their masterpieces and they were enjoyable.

You CAN bring food from anywhere you want, does not necessarily have to be umami right next door. Service super friendly, guy with arm tattoos is great.
I got a keychain bottle opener with logo (also only $ 1.50) for my friend, it’s better than the glass so i suggest you get that instead as a souvenir.
YES, i would come back for a laid back hang out with friends from out of town.
Closes saturday at 10pm but last call at 9:30pm so get there early!

I’ve had their brews before, but this past weekend was my first visit at the facility. Inside there are a few tables, but a LONG bar area. The flights of 4 beers is a reasonable $ 8, so we ordered 2 flights to cover all 8 beers they had on tap. My favorites were the 1888, the hef, and the coffee stout.
There is lots of outside seating. It’s also OK to bring stuff to eat with your beer, so you could get your favorite dish at the Packing House and have a great time. This is a great local brewery with an awesome atmosphere to enjoy a few cold ones.

Love this place! How did I not know that Anaheim Brewery was so close to the Packing House? Came here with a big group (11 people) after brunching. The people here are soo nice and friendly!
I got a flight (four 4 oz pours) for $ 8 and it comes with a souvenir glass! Best deal ever. Loved their IPA and their 1888. The darker ones are quite nice too.
We took over one of the picnic tables outside and played Apples to Apples — they have some board games for you to enjoy! Great day and weather and good company with friends — I’m sure we were super rowdy and we did get some looks from the people sitting around us, but who cares! :)
