Amazing Bob T’s!
I had heard about the AHHHH-​MAZING gathering at Bob’T’s. I FINALLY had a chance to meet him and his lovely wife at a UYE but didn’t get to actually chat with him because of seating logistics.
I saw him and wifey again at a PYE shin-​dig for Shawna and Steven C and they were a hoot! Then it HAPPENED… I got an invite from a fellow Unilocaler to tag along for a Super bowl party. Woohoo! Let the games begin. There was ONLY one request and that was everyone was to bring something to share.
I was going to do Jell-​0 shots but being the grand hostess Bob is he provided them in different flavors. Every time his team made a touchdown we took a Jell-​O shot. AWESOME! I think I had two or 3 shots and then had to tap out because I was ALSO taking some meds and the package suggest NOT mixing it with alcohol plus I had to drive and be coherent and responsible.
As life would have it a family emergency came up and by the time SUPER BOWL SUNDAY rolled around I was EXHUSTED and felt like someone had been jumping up and down on me for fun! I didn’t know I could be so exhausted, make decisions for my family and function all at the same time. Before the family emergency arose Kevin B and I decided we WERE NOT GOING TO COOK so we came up with the idea of ordering lumpia (Pilipino egg rolls) to bring for our dish to share and split the cost. Josephine’s had 100 lumpia for $ 40 which worked out perfectly.
Due to my fam emergency I wasn’t going to go but was cajoled by my aunt to TAKE A BREAK and go have some fun that there was nothing I could do at that point and my fam member was in good hands. Plus I had to go pick up the lumpia so I went.
OMG so glad I did! I drug my tired bones into the party and peeps were EVERYWHERE! I was a smiggy bit late for the start of the game and no sooner then I found a seat a tray of Jell-​o shots came strollin by. Bob T and his Jell-​o shots were doing the most. He had all sorts of flavors like Black cherry, strawberry margarita, orange, some cherry something or another just to add a few. So FRICKIN DELISH and NOT over the top. I think the black cherry is still my fav plus it was the strongest for me.
I went to grab some food and it was a HUGE smörgåsbord of HOT FOOD lining the outside bar with little warmers to keep all the HOT FOOD HOT. Then there was an appetizer area against the house. Inside was DESSERT HEAVEN to tickle your fancy if you wanted to partake.
Eye-​spied an HUGE keg in the corner where peeps could help themselves. There was also mini water bottle, sodas, tea and lemonade I think. Woohoo. Your taste buds definitely DID NOT want for anything.
I was full as a tick by the time the half time show kicked off with that silly performance from Katie Perry. Lighting was BOMB but I really didn’t care for her. Lenny K and Missy E ROCKED! I think we will forever have substandard and mediocre performances because of Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson. THANKS for FLASHING EVERYONE.
I left a bit early to go check on the fam and douse my cold with meds and try to get some sleep. Bab T and his wife are AHHHH-​MAZING! Thanks for opening up your home and the advice and info you shared with me. Much appreciated.
YOU GUYS ROCK!

WOW! Me and the wife had an absolutely AH-​mazing time at Bob T’s for the Super Bowl. Although the Super Bowl game itself lacked any form of excitement the party did not. Bob & Ruth are terrific hosts and really make you and all of the guests feel welcomed.
The food and alcohol were flowing freely, the game was on numerous screens including the awesome projection onto the side of the house for the 2^nd half and activities such as the pool table, closest to the pin (floating green in pool), inflatable goal post with matching football kept everyone entertained throughout. The food was terrific, (thanks to all who shared with us) and the fun never ended. It was great to catch up with so many of our fellow Unilocalers again such as Bob T, Rohiln & Laina, Roy B. & Al C., as well as meeting several others such as Ruth, Patrick L and of course Bob’s brother who harrassed me all night for the recipe to my wife’s famous peanut butter & chocolate bars.
The jello shots at each score were also a nice addition as we tried numerous flavors throughout the night with cinnamon, kamakazi and strawberry banana being my favorite (we missed the black cherry). All in all a great time and I definitely recommend taking them up on their offer if you are ever invited to one of their amazing events. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Bob T has a cozy corner of Anaheim where everything is just peachy.
There’s plenty of activities, booze on tap, and food to go around.

I had great time and enjoyed all the food and drink even with my team losing. There was no shortage of either or things to do. I am glad I was able to go. Thanks for opening your home, I had fun.

Love Bob T’s! Awesome Super Bowl party. We had a blast and can’t thank you enough for inviting us to join the fun. Lots of food, fun, laughter, and lots of jello shots! (Thanks Seattle for scoring so much so that we could have so many)
Black cherry, strawberry margarita, orange, some cherry cinnamon one, kamakazi (sp?), chocolate covered cherry, strawberry banana, and cherry whip? Okay, I lost track. :P
Pool golf, pool, football squares, inflating footballs with inflatable goal posts, giant tvs, projector on a big wall, food, desserts, booze — the possibilities were endless!
Loved meeting more Unilocalers and seeing some of my regular Unilocal friends.

I have been to many SB Party’s over the years, but the annual food and booze fest that is put on by Bob and Ruth is def the most epic. Always a great group of ppl, and the endless variety of eats would rival a Vegas buffet, but with better food. The many flavors of jello shots that are passed around upon every score is an awesome idea. With Seattle scoring seemingly with each possession, it was a frequent occurrence this year.
Thanks again Bob and Ruth! See you next year.

What a great party! I am lucky to be invited again. There are so much tasty food and drinks! Thank you Bob!!! I know it is a lot of work to organize!

Bob T. and his lovely wife are unbelievably awesome hosts. They opened their home to Brittany P. and me as well as several other Unilocalers and put on a WONDERFUL party! It wasn’t just the food (which was spectacularly and professionally prepared) which made me and Brittany feel right at home. It wasn’t only the fantastic company which provided a seemingly endless supply of remarkable conversation. And it certainly wasn’t the beautiful surroundings that were his RIDICULOUS back yard and smashing music selection!
What made this night go off without a single hitch were the natural and organic and free flowing essence of love and welcome which were offered to each and every guest who darkened their door!
Bob and his wife are gracious hosts who make everyone feel more than welcome and create an ambiance of love and acceptance.
I am looking forward to the day that another Unilocal event is hosted by Bob T. and his wife so I am able to freely sample the tasty morsels made by him and my other Unilocal friends (both known and unknown.)
Thank you Bob T. and Mrs. Bob T. You two are one of a kind. You hold a special place in my heart and I look forward to seeing you and your plentiful hospitality again soon!
