Good homemade Mexican pan! It’s clean, fully stocked and fresh! Found this mom & pop shop here on Unilocal… And it totally hit the spot!!! I also tried the atole… And that too was delish! Close to Anabelle & Disneyland Hotel.

I’d like to give this place more stars but based on the customer service I received they are lucky to get 2. It all started when I arrived at the assigned time to pick up an order of 100 mini conchas, an order I had placed and paid for the day before. As I approached the uncovered box I asked for a cover(since I was going to walk about a block with the box) at which point the young worker said she had plastic. I asked for a box since I was afraid some of the pieces would fall out as I walked to my destination. The girl responded by telling me the bread would melt into water if she covered it with a box, I looked at her confused … She even asked another worker and he completely ignored me and talked to her and told her to tell me it was my choice. I was VERY confused and simply stated that I didn’t care what it was I just needed a cover. She finally budged and began to cover my box with another box when another older man came out, ignored me again and told her to tell me they charged for those boxes. At this point I was done. I grabbed my huge over flowing box and left. If this order wasn’t for a work event in which kids were going to visit Santa and get a piece of bread I would have lost my composure and demanded a refund. Their bread is delicious but I will not be using my personal money to support an establishment that ignores women.

I’m married to a picky Mexican husband who is hard to please when it comes to Mexican food that isn’t made my his family. This little hole-in-the-wall makes THE best tamales we’ve ever tried– and we’ve tried a LOT! Cheese, pork, or chicken… you really can’t go wrong. And in the 10 or so plus times that I’ve had the pleasure of eating them, I have yet to get a bite of bone or cartilage or anything else that makes us picky eaters go ‘eww’! The pan is delicious; we can never go in the shop without leaving with a giant box of pastries! Please support this local business. =)

Store front is faded, sign is cracked and it looks like a dive. But.,. Pan dulce was apx $ 0.75& up. Good variety for the size of the store. Trays are clean but wiped off with the same towel… would love it if they could put it on a pc of waxed paper or hid the used trays so I’m none the wiser. Tamales!!! $ 1.65 each or $ 18 a dozen. Nice amount of heat in the pork ones but neither here nor there on taste.
