Brookhurst Pawn Shop

About 10 weeks ago I bought a telescope from these guys, Now it was not the first time I have been there and bought something the spotting scope and been busted off and the mirror’s were out of alignment the nice people at meade repaired it for me at a very slight charge, So today I needed a planer so I went there to spend more money and brought up in a nice tone «you guys got me on that telescope you knew it was broken and you sold it to me knowing it had been droped» the guy who looks like he is on speed starts off with being defensive“it wasn’t dropped” now come on you really think that they would pawned a broken telescope.
Instead of being a man and owning up to it and saying what can we do to make it right, Rex and the guy who looks like he’s on speed told me to leave, I own a business and would never let a customer walk out the door pissed off and second I would be appalled if someone show up to work with such terrible hygiene.
. Of course all the stuff they have for sale just sits with high price’s and loads of dust I went to Euclid pawn same planer ½ the money

Very unfriendly, very cluttered, lots of stuff for sale at very high prices
American pawn and Costa Mesa is way better

Went in on a Thurs afternoon. Had Jewelry to sell. The staff which was a un welcoming daughter of the unfriendly owner. The very first word out if her mouth was «well»… I knew at that second it was not gonna be a friendly visit. so she says. well unless you have a receipt for purchase we cant help. um excuse me. when receiving gifts from boyfriends. would I have a freaking receipt? so guess you cant sell Jewelry that isnt purchased by yourself and you must have a receipt. Hop skip and a jump away was Hallock Pawn on Lincoln Ave. They were Awesome compared!
