My husband and i were interested in a counter height dining room table but one with little character and not so cookie cutter… well we found it ! John was so nice and patient with us and we got the industrial look we were after. Beautiful piece of furniture and it even was delivered before the estimated date !!
we had seen a ad in the LA times but my inlaws had already been and purchased their new dining room table and they were very impressed and we know why !

My husband and I found this store on the internet as a result of trying to find stores that sold stools for our kitchen island. We had searched many furniture stores and just weren’t finding anything we liked or that worked with the design of our home.
We are so incredibly grateful we found Dining & Stools. There are stools you can buy right of the showroom floor and then there is the ability to design your stools according your your style. There are thousands of options because you choose your chair design, the finish, and the material for seat. My husband and I spent about an hour or more working with the owner to come up with what we were looking for.
When our seats arrived a few weeks later, the owner told us she hadn’t seen that combination we ordered before and absolutely loved it which goes to show that the options are limitless considering the thousands of stools they’ve seen over the years.
We absolutely love our stools because they are so comfortable and like art in our kitchen. Our guests usually choose to sit on our stools than on our couch or dining room table.
Hands down the best place to shop if you are looking for bar stools that are unique, well made and limitless in options. Highly recommend to anyone because you find exactly what your looking for, get great customer service and prices are reasonable.

This store sells just what their name says, dining chairs and bar/​counter stools. You can get a table to go with your chairs here as well, but the focus is definitely on seating. From the exterior and the design of their logo (pure 70s) I wasn’t sure if the merchandise would be up to date, but the styles are indeed current and the prices are right. The only way I know to get new chairs cheaper is Ikea or Target, and the quality here is a huge step up. The salespeople are attentive and helpful, and are tolerant of children. I also like that you can carry your purchases out the same moment you buy them, or come back later to pick up. No waiting for shipment or delivery. They’ll help you load your car if you need it.
I bought three counter-​height stools for my kitchen, in just the style/​color/​cushioning I wanted, and a year later they’re still in like-​new condition.
Across the street is an architectural salvage place I keep meaning to visit but haven’t yet.
