Disneyland UYE- Feel the Magic with Stephanie H, Steve K and Jon

So this is HELLA late. I beat you Libby.
Anyway I can’t wait till Feb for the second Disneyland UYE! I had sooooo much with everyone. Even though we rolled like 20 deep we still managed to get on all the rides together. Just an awesome group of Disney lovin folks.
And thanks Stephanie for pointing out all the hidden mickey’s! Totally added to my disneyland experience.

So this is a month late… SO SUE ME.
I have decided to dub Miss Stephanie H the Queen of UYEs. Whether it is due to her ridiculous organization skills or her ridiculously hot bod, she has thrown the most epic of UYEs I’ve ever laid my little Unilocaly eyes upon.
Even though I arrived late, I got to go on all the rides while waiting for a fraction of the time due to Steph’s stealthy acquisition of fast passes en mass.
It was great, and I am not someone who likes being in big groups, like, ever.
A special thanks to Steve for being my wing man to laugh at my snarky comments and to Keisha who was brave enough to try all the new and scary rides like a champ ;)
Once again, Steph has made me the happiest Unilocaler on Unilocal while visiting the Happiest Place on Earth. *sigh*

I finally lost my virginity this last Sunday, to a group of 20 LA Unilocalers. I was nervous, being my first time and all. Plus, such a large group, I didn’t know if I’d be able handle being with that many at once you know?
They were gentle, I was able to relax and all the work was done for me. Most knew it was my first experience and made sure I was comfortable and enjoyed myself. I’ll never forget my first time.
Oh, I should probably clarify I meant Disneyland virginity. Yes, this was my first trip to DL ever! I had a blast, so many cool new faces all while taking in the rides and shows that Disney veterans babble so much about. I was impressed!
Normally in my group of friends I have to do all the planning. It’s tiresome, always having to be on my toes, never able to fully relax and enjoy the scene. Not so here. The Disneyland powerhouse trifecta of Stephanie, Steve, and Jonathan kept the entire 12 hour event smooth as silk and enjoyable to the last minute.
Seriously well planned, every person I met was awesome, and there was too much fun to quantify (the pictures don’t lie, asian poses anyone?)
Thanks to all y’all who made my first trip one to remember, I had to lose that virginity eventually and I’m glad it was with all of you.

Whattta day whatta day!!! Two days later and I’m STILL pooped!!!
How the hell was this day pulled off without a hitch!!! Twenty randoms without a tour guide holding a flag. No walkie talkies. No leashes that look like cute monkey backpacks to keep all the kids in order, and we still managed NOT to lose anyone!!!
Pirates, Haunted Mansion, AstroBlasters, StarTours, SpaceMtn, IndyJones, the TikiRoom… ToyStory, CaliScreamin, ToT (TWICE) on the CaliAdventure side… back to the DL for BigThunderMtn, Matterhorn and even the dreaded TeaCups!!! Only a bunch of super cool people assuring me (lying through their teeth) that I’d be fine could talk me into getting on those damn spinning cups!!! And I’m pretty sure the heavy doses of smoked turkey leg, DoleWhip, and a healthy sprinkle of churro dust helped get me away from my senses…
Finished the fun-​filled day off with a souvenir mug full of hot cocoa underneath a sky of pyro explosions, which totally made up for the almost vomit-​inducing dizzy spells! I even forgot about those saboteurs with impeccable timing that shut down the rides right when we wanted to get on!
Who could ask for anything more from a trip to the happiest place on earth?

DARY!!!

Who would have ever thought that anyone can pull off a Disney UYE! Impossible I would say… you know when you get more than 10 people together at an amusement park there is always drama. Where to eat, when to take bathroom breaks, which rides to go on first… all leads to drama!
But surprisingly this Unilocal disney UYE, completely drama free! Everything seem to work out perfectly. Or perhaps everyone who attended was just perfect to begin with.
It was probably the most well organized UYE ever! We all traveled through the park and went on all the big rides with great timing like a well oiled machine. 20 Unilocalers all in red … even Unilocal gear! It was great to get to know people while in line, I’d have to say everyone who I met that day I give 5 stars just for being you… because you made my day enjoyable.
Within the first couple hours we hit up Jungle Cruise, Pirates, Haunted Mansion and Star Wars … pretty great timing on all the rides thanks to the magical disney organization skills of Stephanie and Steve’s «disney line» app on the iphone… there seriously is an app for everything out there.
Thank you Stephanie, Steve and Jon for organizing such an awesome feet wrenching event! I seriously knocked out once my head hit that pillow!

Oh what, Shari went to a UYE!!! Yuuuuuup. Lure me with goodness and I write you in my planner :) All my fellow Unilocalers who went were so much fun and nice! It was great to meet them in person and then getting to see Stephanie and Steve again :) You people are the only ones who could get me to go on Tower of Terror back to back. And freaking Jenny with her flash photography on the ride! haha. Rolling 20+ deep to Disneyland and not even standing in line for rides? Sounds like VIP status to me… Im kinda bummed my funds werent looking right so I couldnt buy anything but whatever, I was there for the company! I got to see Stevie Wonder perform live while my fellow Unilocalers were in the Tiki Room. I got to meet Disney’s newest Princess, «Princess Tiana» and her boo, Prince Naveen. We chopped it up a bit before I took a picture with them. It was great, I felt like a kid again! Not that it would take much for me to regress into childhood. haha
We surely need to do it again! Make sure my friend isnt blacked out to sign me in, and this little lady is there!

Holy crap, what a frickin’ awesome time I had with everyone. We were on a mission to get on all the good rides. I believe we completed that mission. I think the best part was when we posed in the pictures. Hilarious! I can’t wait to see the pics. Next time we do this on a Sunday, I’m taking Monday off. lol Love you guys!

I was so excited to meet all the wonderful Unilocalers I had a blast thank you.

Well what can I say? I mean you just can’t have a bad time at Disneyland. But throw in an awesome group of about 20 Unilocalers and the deal is even sweeter. It has been years since I have gone to Disneyland with a group quite that large, and this was the first time that anyone in that group was over the age of 12 and not calling me by my annoying camp nickname «Bubbles». But anyway…
It was a great day to hit the park (s), I think the longest line we waited in was 30 minutes and that was for Toy Story Mania. We got on all of the big rides in the park and a few of our favorite «kiddie» rides too. The pictures will no doubt be epic from this one. I mean all decked out in red, looking all happy and shit, they should be pretty awesome.

We got on all the cool rides at Disneyland (Even if 3 of them saw us coming and broke down right before we tried to get in line). AND we got on the cool rides at California Adventure too! I don’t think I have spent that much time at Disneyland in one day in years, but it was worth it. Having a large group was lots of fun, especially when it came to the pictures. It was really fun to get to know all the great people who were there.
Can’t wait to do it again!

This UYE was amazing! I had so much fun! I wasnt a big fan of disneyland but this UYE sure changed that! It was great to be able to have such an exciting day at disneyland with all of you!

This is the BEST Disneyland trip EVER!!! I never had that much fun and craziness going to Disneyland, it was a blast. Thank you Steph, Steve, and of course, our photographer, Jonathan for making this happen, we should do it more often! Everyone else has been a great company as well, from crazy dancing down the Main Street while the parade was going and we’re told to move quickly, yet we stopped for a pose before the parade moved behind us, what a magic moment!!! Too many great things happening yesterday to be listed, all in all, all of you guys rocks this UYE!!! And don’t forget to post that pic of that guy in our Asian pose «Hollywood Tower of Terror». We need to find him on Unilocal and thank him for his participation in making our pictures so perfect!!! =) and one last special thanks to Alia for getting me in for FREE!!!

It’s not the fact that this was the longest UYE I’ve been too or the fact I had to use cruise control on the way home b/​c my feet hurt. What I remember most is the fact that I spent a whole MF day with the most fantastic group of Unilocalers and time seemed to speed by as we talked, laughed, and got to know each other a little bit more.
You know the last scene from the movie Oceans 11, where they all watch the water show at the Bellagio and then depart separte ways? We’ll this is what I felt at the end of the day as we watched the fireworks. 12 hours, 2 parks, and all the major attractions under our belts. This was it. This is what Disneyland is all about.
