LIAR & CHEAT!!! Do not trust this guy! Don’t be fooled by his cheap prices!
Took my car here after reading good Unilocal reviews to replace a window regulator. I made it very clear that I wanted an original part from the BMW dealership not a Taiwan aftermarket part. I was charged for a part from BMW ($ 480) but he used a cheap aftermarket part ($ 60) anyway and kept the difference $. How did I find out you ask? Well after having it break twice in two weeks, I decided to open it myself and found a MADE IN TAIWAN sticker on the regulator. I had to find out the hard way!
When I confronted him about it he lied to my face. Again. I made it very clear that I didn’t want a cheap aftermarket replacement part and he said no problem. He said it must have been a bad part from BMW and he would go back to the BMW dealership and fix it. BMW does not sell aftermarket parts! He thinks I am stupid and lied to my face. At the end of the day I had to take it to another guy and pay another $ 700 for the regulator and an extra $ 50 for clips he broke in the process. Cost me more time and money. I wish I never went here!
Pay the extra to have a pro do it! Or trust him with your car or at your house and have him hack on your stuff it’s up to you.

Called the 714−772−2852 number and the operator says, «We’re sorry, number is either disconnected or no longer in service». Does anyone know if El Gato is still in business or have their correct phone number?

Great guys, came out to my house in Newport Beach, took about 25 minutes to replace the windshield. I called about six other places that were closer to me, but they had the best deal by far, almost 30 to 50 bucks cheaper than anyone else. Even to fix a chip in the windshield was half the cost than other places. My dad got his windshield replaced by them as well. Nice guys, fast and efficient, and they guarantee their work.

I do not recommend that you use their service. They gave me a false sense of security by making me believe that they were going to help me with my auto glass replacement and everything would turn out great. After they replaced the glass I let them know that it wasn’t aligned properly and air was leaking through the sides, I was patient enough to wait for them because they didn’t have time for me in the morning because they were heading out to work and they asked me to come back later in the day. When I showed up later in the evening I phoned them because there was nobody outside to greet me, a man answered the phone and complained that I should have showed up earlier, surprisingly he said that nobody was in (but I know they were because I heard their phone ring and I could hear the man talking inside the office), I explained that a young man had asked agreed to meet me later in the evening, obviously they were playing me and I felt betrayed and taken advantage of. So I decided not to bother with them anymore and took my vehicle elsewhere to get the problem fixed. Needless to say I had to shell out some extra cash to get the job done.

I came across El Gato auto glass company after my friends of Rothick Art Haus Kelly and Nick highly recommending them. «they are a small mom and pop’s like place and really good and they come to you» is what they raved about them. So, I phoned them up to find out about getting my window fixed that some douche bags broke after breaking into my car on New Years day. NOTE: NEVER leave your car at the Kitsch parking lot. Learned my lesson. A few glasses of champagne and I cabbed it home. Better safe than sorry. The thing that kills me is that I had originally intended to be home at a decent hour from my friends party. But, after friends texts to come to the Kitsch because they were djing I ended up with a broken window, CDs stolen and my GPS. LAME. Lesson learned and window fixed!
Being it was a holiday weekend and rainy I was unable to get the window fixed till Tuesday. They don’t do mobile service calls when it rains. They were super cool and friendly and professional and my window only cost $ 115
I did a lot of online checking prior to having them come out and they were the most reasonable!
