FlashPants

One word: AMAZING!!! We hired FlashPants for our wedding… If you want your guests to be raving about your wedding months after, you gotta hire these guys! Joey was THE BOMB. He was so incredibly professional and kept us on schedule the whole time. We actually have a tendency to run late in general, but somehow Joey was able to make sure everything was on time! We had no idea how he did that haha His many years of experience DJ-​ing and MC-​ing at weddings really paid off!
Our guests LOVED the band!!! Graysen — who created FlashPants — is a genius! During our cocktail hour, JazzPants played beautiful background music while our guests enjoyed the ocean view… truly classy! Then FlashPants got the party started… even our older aunts and uncles were on the floor dancing!!! Many guests didn’t realize that the same band was playing at the cocktail hour and at the wedding reception. Our friends and families were amazed at how talented the musicians are… they can play a diverse genre of music and are very good at what they do. They also have a range of ratings of how PG you want the show to be… so if you’re worried about your Godmother being called to the stage to do shake weight, just tell them what you want or don’t want.
We LOVE Graysen and Joey!!! They are both lots of fun to hang out with. Our meeting with them was the most fun «vendor meeting» we’ve had :)
We would recommend FlashPants for all types of events… weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, you name it. We considered other live bands for our wedding, but ultimately chose FlashPants because they’re not just musicians, they’re performers and entertainers. They interact with your guests and get them involved in the party. If you want to throw the best party ever, talk to FlashPants … they will bring the party to your party!!!

We hired Flash Pants for our August 2015 wedding and let me just say, WOW! I initially heard about Flash Pants through an old client who had hired them for her daughter’s wedding. She had nothing but AMAZING things to say and simply insisted we at least go and see them perform. My then fiancé and I went to see them at La Cave in Newport Beach and sure enough, we were blown away! In that moment, we decided NO other band would do. Graysen was amazing in the planning process and on the big day, he made sure all of the little things happened on schedule, which was great not to have to worry about stuff like that. Before the reception, we had «Jazz Pants» make a special appearance during the cocktail hour which made for an even more exciting surprise once it was time for Flash Pants to grace our guests with their presence (short shorts, mustaches and all). I cant even describe my level of appreciation for this amazing group of musicians! I am SO happy and STILL giddy with the way the night went and I couldn’t have asked for more — Shake weights, high kicks, gummy-​worm kissing contests, you name it, it happened… not to mention, who would have thought I’d be crowd surfing at my own wedding!!! What an amazing night! Thank you again and again Flash Pants for creating the ultimate experience of a lifetime! Our guests are STILL talking about how much fun they had! Can’t wait to hire Flash Pants again!

This group is amazing. Play at the SOL venue Saturday night and they rocked it! I would definitely want to hire them for our next party.

If I could give these guys like infinite stars I would! Best shows I’ve seen and the best nights I’ve had! From first dates to birthdays! Even got to win a shake weight contest ;-* haha for those who know what I’m talking about. Flashpants plays we are there! No doubt about it. LOOOOOVE YOU GUYS!

I had a great time at Harvey’s Steakhouse in Huntington Beach watching FlashPants last Friday night. It was a great way to celebrate my friends birthday and we had a great time. Thanks for the fun night! I would go back again for sure. @HarveysSteak

So my brother and I walked into Boondocks because we heard some good music from the outside. Little did we know that there would be a bunch of men in short shorts with fake staches performing synchronized hip gyrations. There was no way we could leave and stayed for the whole show. My pic is of this epic night. They were amazing!!! Aside from being wildly entertaining, the music was really good too. I just learned that they are at Blue Beet in Newport on Sundays and now I totally have to go. You should too; you will not be disappointed

This band is epic! My family saw their show tonight at the City of Mission Viejo’s Arts Alive event. They are unique, entertaining, super cool, fun and great for all ages… and they’re talented. You must check them out or hire them for an event.

«Ultimate 80’s Party Band» If you haven’t seen FlashPants perform you are so missing out… I had the ultimate pleasure hearing them here in my city of Montclair at That 80’s Bar and they were amazing… these guys have such great vocals and obviously great choices in music selection… they really put a lot into their performance and being 36 their outfits takes me back to the best of the 80’s so you definitely will not be disappointed… they aim to please the crowd and aim they sure do… can’t wait to see them again

I came in to Boondocks to have a few drinks with some friends. While we were there, we realized there would be a band playing. We were planning to leave a little before the band started but decided to stay after we heard the sound check. Best decision I’ve made this year.
Flashpants were AMAZING! They covered the 80s song really well and we’re hilarious on stage. I’m an instant fan.

I’m a female skydiver, in Southern California. For a week in October of 2014, I was a participant in the women’s world record skydiving event which took place at Skydive Perris. On the day that we accomplished our world record jump, the dropzone had an epic 80’s party planned for us. We were all excited to celebrate by toasting each other and dancing the night away. :)
Our amazing band that night was FlashPants. This was my first time experiencing this band, and I was not disappointed! FlashPants is not only an amazing cover band, but also, hilariously fun to interact with during the times that they had breaks. Plus, they thoroughly engaged the crowd throughout the entire night. My throat was sore by the end of the night from scream-​singing along my favorite songs from my high school years. I couldn’t believe how much fun it was!

The most crowd friendly band around. Not only do they entertain the masses they encourage audience participation and they meet and greet before, during and after the show. A must see band that’s definitely worth the price of admission. The music? A great 80s cover band with a lot of energy and enthusiasm. Don’t miss them when they invade your town.

I think alot of people on here have already pointed out that this band is beyond great. I still wanted to come by and say how much I enjoyed them every time I have seen them play. They are an awesome 80’s cover band that also know how to entertain a crowd.
Check them out at a bar or hire them you will not be dissapointed. I need to go see them again soon.

If you want to have a very memorable party hire these guys ! I have never experienced anything remotley close to this band. They will make you laugh till it hurts. It is really an experiance that is hard to explain. The music is great but hardly all they have to offer. Saw them at a house party first and then went to a bar and saw them they are equally good in both venues but I have to say they really let their hair down at the house party wink wink: D

First off, I cannot say that I «recommend» Flashpants plays your private event. .. I MANDATE THAT YOU BOOK THEM AS FAST AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE!!! (sorry for yelling)
Having booked them for 3 events now, I will say that working with the band is a delight. Responsive, consistent, and professional all the way around. They show up early and completely prepared and ready to transform your event into a party!
Now read closely, this is the important part: their show is not that of any 80’s band you have seen. It’s not just some dudes hashing out their shattered rock careers by playing the hits. .. this is a full comedy production with the best 80’s soundtrack you could possibly ask for. You can read the other reviews and hear about the amazing outfits, choreography, and stage presence, but there are a couple of things these guys do that truly set them apart.
1. Crown Interaction: Flashpants will not sit idol and let your guests quietly nod their heads, they will get down and dirty to break down the walls of even your most prude attendee. With their wireless setups it is not uncommon that the guitarist will be doing some aggressive squats in front of your grandmother three rows deep, or the singer will be singing sweet-​nothings into the ear of your half-​drunk father-​in-​law standing back at the bar. Your guests will laugh, smile, be brought on stage, and quite possibly be «saved» (you’ll get the reference soon enough after watching them).
2. «This amp goes to eleven»: Flashpants can truly customize the show and experience for any crowd. Think of a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being that you could book these guys for a corporate party and have no run to HR in the morning to complain. .. and a 10 would be your mother would be impregnated in her early 50’s by the erotic jokes these guys can whip out.
Case in point, my last event I booked them at was a 2000+ person Oktoberfest where I asked them to give me a solid 8.5 where there were tons of crass jokes and phallic lyric changes, but no F bombs. The crowd was BLOWN away, and I heard nothing but comments about how they were the highlight of an entire day of festivities.
I’m not sure if this review has truly driven home the point that these guys are amazing. You will not be disappointed with a Flashpants booking. You’re welcome.

Eric, Micah, Sascha and Jay took our party to another level! They were clever, funny irreverent and bold. It was just what our guests needed to loosen them up and entertain the crowd in to giddy euphoria.
The band performed like a well oiled machine with precision of synchronized swimmers. Aside from the bits and gags, these guys can sing and play. We have been showered with compliments for days, but all credit belongs to FlashPants for making our party a raging success.
Complete strangers have approached me, asking to get details about the band they’d heard playing as they happened to be walking by our party. (Eric, please leave the hosts a stack of business cards so we may pass them out without searching the cell for your number.) Well done boys! We are your devoted fans and can’t wait to catch one of your ’80’s gigs! Thanks again for your hilarious performance and for getting our daughter (who wasn’t even born in the 1980’s) to call our bash the «party of the year!»

I first became acquainted with FlashPants at the Long Beach Movies on the Beach. They performed before the screening of 16 Candles and they were a hoot! They serve up all your 80s favorites with a side of raunch and irreverent humor – right up my alley. I found out afterwards that they play at local clubs all over, and when I learned of a gig coming up at the New Wave Bar in Bellflower, I knew I had to gather my friends for a night of 80s nostalgia. It was a good opportunity to check out the New Wave Bar as well – something my friends and I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. Anyhoo, we weren’t disappointed. They were just as much high-​energy goofy fun as on the beach, but since this was an adults-​only setting, the proceedings were a little raunchier, which was fine with me. Apparently every 40-​something in the area was having his/​her bday celebration here, which made for a fun Shake Weight Shake-​Off competition on the stage, lol. I also love their «fashion auction» method of selling their unique swag, which consists of various thrift store t-​shirts/​jackets/​life jacket/​ski bib emblazoned with their logo. I got a t-​shirt for a friend for his birthday and I know he’ll treasure it forever. So yes, if you love the 80s and general silliness this is the band for you. They’ll make you sing and dance your ass off, which is a MUCH better workout than sitting at home with your Shake Weight.

First off if your uptight and boring you don’t want them to play for you! Now if your super fun and like to party these are your guys!
I hired them to play at my wife’s 28^th birthday and let me tell you it was the best decision of my life. Not only did they give us a night to remember but they made everyone feel alive and happy! I don’t want to give to much away but hire them and you will thank me later…

My husband surprised me this year by having Flash Pants play for my birthday party and it was amazing. They are awesome! They entertained like no other and they where all very nice. The band made this birthday one I’ll NEVER forget. All of there music was great and I loved how they interacted with the crowd that was awesome! This band is by far the best 80’s band I’ve ever seen! If you haven’t seen them I recommend that you DO! Thank you FlashPantsBand for making my Birthday pretty freaken amazing.
