Careful Here! Made a resevation 6 weeks out with a relative coming in for a Birthday Gift. One week out got a call saying I was bumped with some siliness about simulators would be unavailable. After explaining the situation, I was told all was well and I was back on. Next day, another call saying my reservation shouldn’t have been taken in the first place and the call the day before shouldn’t have told me all was well. I then received an E-​mail saying” Reservation Canceled at My Request “, Bad Form! A well planned event is ruined probably because of a more profitable reservation. Don’t put your trust here, it will be a bad investment.

Took my father here for his birthday. Cost was about $ 59.00 per person, we had a 3 person crew. Overall, the experience was pretty cool but I think for what we received it was a bit high in price.
Technology wise I was expecting more of a VR (Virtual Reality) experience with a bit more interaction. The craft does not tilt or move at all so you are basically staring at a large screen which was COOL but at the end you wish for a little more.
The instructor we had that day was so-​so, you would think for the $ spent they would make the lesson (about 30 minutes) before the start of the «flight» a little bit more fun and engaging.
Best part was the interaction between pilots and air traffic controller.
Not sure if I would go back but glad I stopped by.

My husband and I flew the 737 last month and had an amazing time! My husband, who has never flown before, asked to try landing the 737 at the old Kai Tak airport and nailed it. Weeks later, he is still proud of himself. I struggled flying into a simple airport, but still had a great time!

My son is into planes and the simulators here are really great. The whole experience is cool. The staff take great care in their jobs and making sure everyone is having a good time as well as learning something about the simulators. My son and I are tied for wins, so we’ll have to come back for the tie breaker. He’s brought friends and we get the deals on groupon that they have. Well worth it.

What a great experience. The staff is very helpful and entertaining as they prepare you for your flight and aerial dogfights. There is definitely a learning curve, and the video gamer generation has an advantage for sure. My son kicked my a$$. I would recommend eating afterward if you can, as the feeling of vertigo and motion is pretty real. Enjoy:)

It was so amazing! Awesome staff and really nice flight teacher. He had a lot of patience with us and helped us a lot.

Threw a surprise party for the boyfriend here last weekend. The experience was great from booking (with owner Paul who is totally accommodating– as I changed date and called 3 more times in my neurotic state to ask multiple questions) to game night! Steve was our instructor and was so fun and easy going… even moved us to a private room last minute cause he thought main lobby was too loud for our party. The guys all flew the f-16’s against each other and had a blast dogfighting and reveling in their true boy like behaviors– ha! The simulators and accompanying flight control room and instruction was so supportive and made sure everyone was learning the controls and having a great time! You can tell everyone at FlightDeck is passionate about flying and your total experience. Everyone wants to go back!

Had a really fun time 14 kills and 2 successful landings on fox 1. Went with my stepdad grandpa and uncle, we all had so much fun!

I attended my first session yesterday (and I say ‘first’ because I WILL be back) it was awesome! The instructor was BMW. He was very thorough and clear in his direction, especially for first-​timers like me.
They gave you an option to change into the flight suit if you wanted to. I totally suggest that you do exercise that option. For me, it made the experience even better. Plus then you can take a picture with you in your flight suit. :-) And don’t worry about wearing the suit, they told us that they wash the suits after each use.
You get a practice session once you are in the simulator itself and THEN, they turn on the actual session. That is when it gets REAL. You have a communication port so you can hear commands from the Flighdeck crew and you can talk to them as well, which was very cool!
I landed in the water on my first attempt in landing, but did good on my second attempt.
I got the highest score, By The Way… :-)

I’m glad I don’t fly the real ones.
Came here for a friend’s birthday. Got our own space, made a whole event out of it, and got to see how all our friends handled a simulated military aircraft. You could bring your own food and catering, even decorations and all that. From that space, you can view the different rounds of your friends having at these «aircrafts».
When it becomes your turn to do it, you might get a chance to suit up in your pilot’s uniform, and you go through «pilot school» and learn the controls to these planes. I personally understood them just fine, but it’s the «overheating» part that I could never truly understand. I tend to maneuver when I steer, so that’s my downfall. That and I have horrible aim.
It’s definitely a different type of activity than what we usually encounter. Already in our minds, we think of Top Gun and other similar ideas. So much tougher than it looks. Just when you think you have a pretty good grasp on how to fly these things, you end up «overheating» all the time and just never have actual control over your module. No, having become an expert on Star Fox 64 or any of the games at Dave & Busters does not mean jack squat.
Whether TugBoat W’s review from 1÷15÷2016 stays up or not, the 48-​hour cancellation policy and confirming the right day and time should both be taken into consideration. If something comes up late minute, they are apparently hard on that policy, and you’ll be absolutely screwed. If not everybody is on the same page about the actual time slot on the specific day and specific week, that’s obviously a huge mess for everybody involved. Honestly, the best way to resolve the situation would be to compensate the customer if the company was confirmed to be liable. If the company confirmed and reconfirmed the date and time from the moment the transaction takes place and the customer then somehow switches the reservation to a different time afterwards, then the company wouldn’t be responsible for that. But hey, who knows at this point? I’m yet to see another reported scenario in which this happens again.
For me, personally, it’s hard to love or become addicted to something like this, unless there are signs of passion in flying these things. I’d recommend it if it’s different from the usual type of party or activity. I see discounted deals for this place online all the time. I’d honestly take advantage of those.

Boys get to wear pilot jumpsuits, fly F16 and simulate a dog fight. Hubby and I watch their flying skills on monitors located in waiting lounge. They get instruction/​overview and flight time. Reservations required. 90 minute experience. Boys loved it!

i came with Panasonic as we had an off-​site work event here and it was a very interesting and unique experience. We sat through a brief informational session as well as training to be able to experience the flight simulation. you have the option of suiting up, which I recommend because it makes you feel that much cooler and of course, a great photo opp too. Youre then brought to the back into this cool arcade looking room where there are several cockpits. Each cockpit is pretty high up so you wait for an employee to come help you get situated and you get to wear headphones to hear and speak to the others in the different cockpits as well. Once everyone is all situated, then you’re ready for take off. It was definitely a cool but difficult experience for me, personally. Who knew flying was so hard, but then again if you’re a gamer, then you’re more than likely going to succeed at this. During the dog fight you’re trying to shoot down the opposing team players and at the end, you get 2 tries to land the plane perfectly. I got 2 kills and failed both times to land – like I said, it was so difficult for me! Nevertheless, it was an awesome experience!
All the employees here are very funny, helpful and informative. Don’t be shy and ask questions when you need to! :)

Took my bf here for a Valentine’s surprise from begining to end it was a great experience all the employees here are friendly it was really surprising the back ground the employees have especially all the interesting facts about the planes and what the military actually does .I was expecting high school kids and not much but so glad we came here .the facility is a perfect set up for flyers and just those who want to watch nice comfy couches for those who are watching… we will definitely be back for more fun and to try all the different planes and scenarios hopefully we get a different one every time for the price you are getting more than your money’s worth counting the facility, the employees and the simulator experience… taking this from an employee here «this is the only place you can drink and fly» haha thank you flight deck for the great experience !!!

Not this time!!! Im mad so I thought I would take to Unilocal.I called to make an appointment on a Tuesday for a flight 2 days later on Thursday. I gave the girl my credit card info and she confirmed a few times that I was within their 48 hour cancellation period so if I didn’t go to my session I would be charged the entire amount.
Fast forward 48 hours later. Its Thursday I show up at my scheduled time and the girl behind the counter cannot find my appointment. After a few minutes she looks up and says your appointment is for next week. She apologized and sent me on my way.
Im taking to Unilocal for 2 reasons. 1. To let fellow Unilocalers know that mistakes can happen so if you are coming in from out of town I would confirm and reconfirm your appointment. and 2. I think Im a little mad that all I got was a «sorry we are booked for the day» response. If you are going to make a speech about your cancelation policy and then you make a mistake I think I should be able to bill you for my gas money time etc. I know thats not how it works but as a consumer it would be nice to say «Im sorry you made a mistake, heres my invoice for $ 200» They would have charged me if I over slept or got a flat tire and missed my appointment so why can’t we charge them.
I guess Im mostly ticked at the cancellation policy, because I really do understand that mistakes happen.
Maybe we try again some other time because the flights are really cool.

I took my two adult children for the afternoon. I had a blast, as did my daughter. My son overestimated his abilities, because he is a video gamer. He was a tiny bit humbled that he didn’t excel to the level of his expectations, so not as enthusiastic about his experience as we were. But that was about him, not Flight deck.
The joy sticks were quite sensitive. I have pretty serious ADD and it was too much multitasking for this brain. But I didn’t care, so my EPOCH fail didn’t interfere with my fun.
I actually found it so real, my body really reacted as though it was real. My kids did not have the same physical reaction I did.
My daughter had the best overall experience. She played better than she expected, and all around great time.
The instructor, Steve, was awesome. He had a sense of ownership, although he is not the owner, which impressed me as being unusual in a very good way.
The space was clean and very comfy including the bathrooms.
I would probably go back, (my only hesitation being only that I won’t ever play even remotely well) and I know my daughter plans to go with her bf.
Video gamers, it’s not gonna be like you think.

Attended our first session last week & it was THE BEST!!! Our flight instructor Rabbit was AWESOME :) The intro and training was thorough. You have the option of suiting up and I suggest that you take the opportunity to get into gear & dive into to the experience 100%! (Don’t worry they wash the suits after each use, lol) In the simulator you will have some time to practice, then get into a dog fight with your fellow attendees (or AI and maybe the Flightdeck crew), and your final test is to land your fighter jet on runway. SUPER FUN EXPERIENCE. I would highly recommend anyone to try it out at least once! And definitely bring your friends! (Up to 10 can fly at a time)
Go get your Top Gun on & make a reservation for your highway to the danger zone!

We were looking for a fun family activity to beat the heat and we couldn’t be more happy with Flight Deck!
Excellent customer service through out our experience– and they were wonderful at answering all the kids questions as well. The facility was immaculate and you really feel submerged in the flight experience.
«Trigger» did our briefing and explained how to master the controls. Next we were fitted into flight suits which made the experience more fun.
After loading into our cockpits we began our free flight time where we tried our flight skills out and got to ask questions to the «tower» for help. After we felt comfortable with our abilities we started our dogfight. We were flying with another group but we had separate radio channels so our group had its own communications. We were able to shoot each other down and trash talk each other on our own channel. Throughout the dogfight «tower» is helping guide and encourage you. After the dogfight we got to land a few times and practice our landing skills in daytime and nighttime.
Lastly we did a debriefing where we went over everyone’s points. «Stretch» offered to take some photos for us and we were able to get the kids pictures in the cockpit and a family photo in the debriefing room.
Overall it was a wonderful experience! Excellent customer service and a fun way to beat the heat! We will definitely be back!!! They also offer kids bday parties which I see in our future!

Authentic fun at every high speed turn.
From the classroom session to prep all pilots we spend the bulk of our 90 minute session bringing down the opposition.
JR our instructor was thorough and complete in his preparation and his in flight tactical pointers.
I’m impressed and most definitely will return in the future.
Be aware there might be some faux alpha types that you fly up against in the «Fur-​Ball,» dog fighting, they’re the ones that go after the drones and shy away from ‘FOX FOX!“

My 11year old son flies on a simulator on his iPad, so I took him in for a 737 flight.
Captain Waldo is very experienced, knowledgeable and patient. He makes is fun while giving an expert lesson. Make sure to ask for him when making the appointment. My son learned so much!
We’ll be back for sure!

This is one of the coolest things I’ve ever done!
If you want to know how to fly a Jet and be able to Dog Fight with your friends on a F-​15, this is the place to go. What can go wrong? You’re experiencing a simulation that makes you feel like you’re doing the real thing without having to feel bad about crashing a multi-​million dollar equipment.
So when you start, you follow the instructor into a dressing room where you go into these sweet jumpsuits so you feel like a real pilot. They have sizes for just about everyone and you don’t have to wear one if you don’t want to. Afterwards, you are then instructed into the briefing room where we are given a crash course of flying. It is a lot of information in a compact amount of time. It’s no worry, because once you get onto the simulation, they will repeat instructions if you forget and you can always ask questions.
After the training, you are then on to the flying simulation! You are walking into probably the coolest arcade room filled with a dozen cockpits that look like they are cropped right of a real jet. This is basically a big boy’s playroom! Each cockpit is 4 – 6 feet up so you have to be escorted up through a stepladder. Once you are in the cockpit and they close you in with the window door, you are totally immersed as feeling how real it could be. The cockpit has hundreds of buttons lit up and having now idea what they do.
Every cockpit faces a huge screen that shows you the simulation. My only thing would be that the graphics could be updated. Graphics nowadays on consoles and PC are pristine, and edges close to realism. The graphics on this simulation are stuck in the late 90’s graphics, but it did not halter the experience. The only time you tell its off graphics is when you crash and you see the explosions and the pixelated fire and smoke mushroom out. The gameplay and feel were off the charts, so it compromised the outdated graphics. I can not complain of the experience, but I think for a competitive edge, all aspects should be on point.
The handles and figuring out how to fly the jet came on pretty easily for me considering, I have a toy drone at home and I play video games. Some of my friends got the handles as well and one of my friends just for the life of her, could not fly the plane. I ended up winning in my kills in the dog fight and landing skills so I was happy to say I beat all competition.
I definitely would recommend this to anyone and plan to go again sometime. This is one of the best times I’ve had with my friends.
