Went in for glasses and they had to order the frame since they were not in stock. They told me 2 weeks for my prescription to come in and before the two weeks they came! And I love them. They definitely will take great care of you here!

Dr. Wada’s office is great, to start it looks like you’ve walked into a ride at Disneyland. The way it’s decorated like Star Trek. Dr. Wada helped diagnosed my Pterygium, and helped calm my nerves about having my eyes dilated for the first time. I was grateful to have such a great experience with this optometrist.

Such a great experience! From the moment i walked in i was amazed of how cool is Dr. Wada’s office! Great doctor with an exceptional service! Highly recommend it!

I called to make an appt. this morning for my son and the lady that answered the phone never even asked my name. She answered the phone «optometry », I said «I would like to make an appointment» her response is «have you been here before ?» I which I said «no». Then her next question is «do you have insurance? », I said «yes I do». Then she proceeded to ask me what the name of my vision insurance was. I told her that I had a PPO plan and I wasn’t quite sure of the name offhand. (I probably should’ve been more prepared for that question). Then she says to me, give me your Social Security number so I can see if you qualify for any of our services… ! Really? I even said to her you’re not even asking my name? And she said no I just need your social security number! I guess I just assumed that when your new patient calling to make an appointment they would at least ask your name first before they go into wanting to know if they’re going to get paid. What if I was a cash paying customer would she not have made me an appointment? With such high reviews on Unilocal I guess my expectations were let down.

Had a great experience today at Dr. Wada’s office today. They use state of the art equipment. Have an awesome selection of glasses and their office is pretty cool too.

I will make this as short as possible. My family & have have gone to Dr. Wada for over 20 years. My daughter wears glasses (from him) & has had them just over a year. Towards the end of the school year she started complaining of headaches from her glasses. I call our Dr. & am told ins only approves eye exams ever 2 years, unless it’s a significant change, .75. They let me bring her in (free of charge) & measure her eyes. She’s .25 & .50. I’m told ins won’t approve an exam, but I could pay cash at $ 115 for an established patient. I don’t have an extra $ 115, so I’m looking for another place for an exam. Called 1 place & she mentioned that .25 & .50 = .75, the desired total. I call Dr. wada to confirm the #‘s & they flat out refuse to share the totally, b/​c they are afraid I’m going to try & a prescription off of those #‘s. After I explain multiple times that to woman showed me the #‘s earlier in the week & I was shocked of the exam price, they still will not share the #‘s. Thank God for text messages, found the #‘s :) call our ins & they say as long as the dr. feels an exam is needed, they will approve. They offered to call Dr. wada’s office & «make» them see her, I said no, I’ll call another dr.
I think it’s ridiculous that the dr & the dr’s office is not willing to go to bat for their patients, ex specially if they are a child.

Haven’t had an eye exam in a while, was a bit nervous about going it. Loved the office. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place! There is a large selection. Excited to get my new glasses next week :)

It has friendly staff and the whole place was pretty great! Star Trek themed!
The entrance is on the side. Has plenty of parking. Seating area is pretty comfortable. Service was quick.
Dr. Wada is really nice and friendly. He gave me a succinct report about my eyes and answered any questions I had. Dr. Wada is the go to, for my ophthalmological needs from now on.

Best office I have ever seen in m entire life. It was cool the doctor had the same last name as me too! Very knowledgable and awesome eye doctor. Everyone should go here!

What a fantastic experience. I’m a huge Trek fan and decided to leave my eye doctor of about 10 years to try Dr Wada’s place and I don’t regret it! The screen accurate props are too cool. The monitors have accurate LCARS animations and the audio to match. You feel like you’re on a star ship. The doctor himself is very knowledgeable and did a great job with the exam. He also uses a lot of high tech gear that I haven’t seen at other optometry offices. On a geeky note, he stopped at one point to show me his EMH Holographic Emitter that was next to the exam chair. How cool is that?

Best eye doctor and office ever! Loved the Star Trek theme! My hubby and I had the nicest experience the staff were so nice and attentive. The equipment is all so high tech we had a great time thanks so much! We will be back for sure! Will be recommending to everyone we know and you should check him out too!

This place is awesome! I’m 30 years old and loved the star trek k theme! Everyone’s super friendly. its not that far from my house so thats a big plus. Loved my glasses and will be taking my kids soon.

Me and my family have been going to Dr Wada for years. We love this office! The staff is so friendly and Ann is the best! She would always figure out the nonsense with my insurance and helped me out tremendously. They always have a great selection of frames to choose from. Need I mention the décor? It’s awesome. Ive seen it develop throughout the years and there’s always something new whenever I go in. I would recommend anyone to go see Dr. Wada!

Dr. Wada and his staff are awesome! Been a patient for over 12 years. I can call to make an appointment and I can get and appointment in the same week and we get our lenses and or glasses in less than a week.

My whole family had our first visit and it was awesome! The kids loved the Star Trek theme it was cool to walk around and see all the cool decorations. Dr Wada is great very nice and really knows his stuff. We found our new family eye doctor.

The Theme is genius and the service is quick and helpful, just the way I like it. Wada gave me advice for my concern and also gave me a solution for my eyes when I have allergies. The receptionist that assisted me also helped me choose glasses that fit for my face.
My only con is that it’s a bit tough to choose glasses when my eyes are dialated 0₀

This place is the best, most friendly staff I have ever met and awesome doctor. Dr. Wada as so helpful and got me into new contacts to correct for my vision. His staff is great there attitude and willingness to help. Love the décor it is all Star Trek the next generation. Found a common love of star trek tng and voyager with the doc. Will recommend this place to everyone

Not only is Dr Wada a doctor, he’s a graduate of The Starfleet Academy!
I’ve been getting my peepers checked by Dr Wada for 12 years so far. My initial reason for choosing his office was his super close proximity to my house. The office was super bland on the outside. Inside it’s a spaceship, right out of Star Trek!
Dr Wada is an awesome doctor who always makes sure I understand what my eyeballs are up to. A few years ago my eyes were burning, my doctor gave me eye drops. They totally made me feel like I was going blind. I was able to get an appointment that day. He fixed me and even gave me free samples to save from having to buy the eye drops.
His newer office is even more fantastic!
Yes, the variety of glasses isn’t big. They have catalogs where you can order your dream pair.
I’ve recommended the office to many of my friends. They continue to come here year after year.
I always look forward to my goody bag when I leave!

OK so Dr Wada is a Serious Trekkie. Dr. Wada boldly goes where no optometrist has gone before. Enter his office and you are immediately transported to the flight deck of the Starship Enterprise. Unusual, you betcha. But the cool factor is high even for non-Trekkie’s like me. NERD ALERT! There is Star Trek stuff everywhere in his offices. I was half expecting Spock to be assisting Dr Wada, though I’d prefer that Borg Queen chick in a hot vinyl number!
I can see how people become Trekkie’s now… LOL
Dr. Wada in addition to being a Trekster is also a very competent optometrist. He is also a very personable guy you feel comfortable with while still being very professional, helping you with the quality eye care you deserve. He uses state of the art equipment to preform exams. I was really impressed. He is very open to discussing all the options for your vision. Whether its glasses, contacts or surgical correction. I recommend Dr. Wada. His awesome staff is very friendly and helpful too. So if you need an eye exam go to Wada Optometry.
