Well they need to update their store hours. On Unilocal and everywhere else it says that they are open until 9pm during the week and I show up at 815 and they are closed! What a waste of time

Says they close at 9pm on Unilocal went in today for a visit at 8:25 location was closed and shows they close at 8pm there really need to get on top of things. 2 other customers showed up at around the same time I did trying to get in.

I bought a nozzle 2 weeks ago and it was leaking everywhere. Looks expensive from the inside and it is crap made. Well to make story short went for an exchange and guy with a beard said no receipt no exchange store policy. Unfortunately I lost the receipt… There newspaper ad said easy return or exchange… It did not say that you have a receipt for returning. I’m not coming bad to that store ever again and also they are the only one who carry that item.

Came in at 8:55 to see if they had electrical tape called twice before I went and no one picked up so I showed up and the minute I walked thru the door the lady in the front screamed were closing in 5 minutes I said that’s fine I just need to check for electrical tape and asked where it would be. She replied well hurry up and I don’t know…

I understand it was 5 minutes before closing but all I needed to confirm was if they have electrical tape I would’ve stopped by again tomorrow if they told me they had it hence the phone calls that wasn’t answered

Pretty disappointed. Bought a Sanders some months ago and had not had to use it until just the other day. Opened the box and it looks like somebody used this thing to its last leg and mangled it. Somehow they managed to get this back on the shelf to sell. Can’t find receipt due to too many random shopping sprees here. Because I did not buy the extra warranty, they will not return it, which would be fine if I was the one that actually got some use out of it and don’t have to resort to painstakingly hand sanding. From their side is understandable, as I can imagine how many cheap f@%$ try to bring abused equipment back and pin it off as «this is how I bought it». But in my case, I really did. Lesson learned to always check before buying. I will definitely not be buying any more power tools here again. Looks like it’s back to Lowe’s to pay a little more but get some better quality and service.

Harbor Freight seems like a 99 Cents Only store, bargains, yes, but seems like poorly made or low quality products — but people still shop there… I went in knowing what to expect. I wanted hearing protection, headphones that cover the entire ear. Similar to a more expensive (but better made) 3M brand.
There were about three different models, $ 2.99, $ 5.99 ($ 4.99 if you are a member), and $ 9.99. I chose the $ 5.99 one expecting to pay $ 4.99. When I examined the receipt the price came out to $ 9.99 — $ 4.00 member savings — so I ended up paying $ 5.99 anyway. I was already outside, and didn’t want to go back in to argue. I feel a little cheated, but knowing the quality of the products, I shouldn’t have expected much on the service.
By the way, the quality of the hearing protection in no way compares to the superior 3M version.

So this was my one and only tool store but not any more. Anything that is electrical from here dont expect it to last i went through four drills, two air compressors, and two electric screwdrivers. I have seen the service here completely go down the drain like this has become the walmart of tool stores. But one the other hand i have too give props for the low prices on there tool chest because those actually last.

Always find what I am looking for. All the employees have been very helpful and nice. Love that they also always have the 20% off coupon too to save even more. I have also never had a hassle or someone making a rude face when I want to return something.

I went in to buy a small LED flashlight. They had one flashlight for $ 1.99 or 2 for $ 2.99. I grabbed the 2 flashlights for $ 2.99 and walked up to the cashier. He asked if we needed anything else. He said that if we didn’t need anything else and we have Unilocal,we just need to check in and we get the 1 flashlight for free! Thank you for telling us about the Unilocal check in!

The item we wanted was in the back stock room. Went to the cashier to ask for it and she told an associate (probably the manager or supervisor) to get the item. Instead of helping us out he went outside to take a personal call on his cell phone. We waited 10 minutes before we decided he’s not coming back in anytime soon so. We’re never coming back to this location.

This by far is the best, cleanest, biggest HF location in the area. Yeah people always complain about it all being cheap Chinese made stuff, but if your a DIYer/​shade tree mechanic you can’t go wrong, especially with specialty tools. Joined the Inside Track membership but is not really necessary with the Sunday paper coupons they send out all the time.

Harbor Freight is a great place to get cheap tools and hardware made in China. Sure the quality may be on the lower end, but sometimes, it doesn’t make sense to throw down big bucks for a tool that you will probably only use for a couple of projects. This particular location is a bit better organized and cleaner than their other locations.

there stuff is really cheap but they lack on customer service. I spoke to a associate about a product and he replied with I don’t know I’m busy with the truck…-___–
And then I saw a gentlemen with a blue collard shirt with a manager badge and asked him but he also didn’t know and told me non of the associates knew and try finding it on google … Like WTH? All rude!

Cheap prices Cheap Tools and Cheap customers have this place totally in common. Literally these china made tools are a great deal but their usage longevity has something left to be desired in many cases. But if you need something for a quick job this is your joint.
Say you need a torque wrench to make sure those lug nutz are properly tightened, well this is a nice place to get one. Or how about a dremel wanna be? they have those too. Need to move some furniture or something else heavy, they have cheap 4 wheel dollies. Literally you name it, and they have it.
Pro Tip: If you do not shop here with their coupons, you Sir/​Madam are a complete idiot!
Seriously they have a ton of easy to get coupons. You can sign up to have them mailed to you, find them online, or get them in your junkmail. These coupons are usually good for about 3 – 6 mos. They have everything from individual items to 25% off heck they even have freebee coupons.
If you wanna save a few bucks, I highly suggest that you check this place out. I think it is well worth it. On top of everything else, they usually have a bunch good customer service. They will guide you to the right place in the store and/​or help you with the best deals.
Just be warned its low end gear, but in the end who cares when it is dirt cheap.

I came here to buy a 1 ton shop crane engine hoist with a coupon for $ 99.00 and they had one in stock. However, there was no way I was about to load it in a Toyota Camry. As a result, I came back with a truck.
In the meantime, I had a jackass working there trying to sell me a 2 ton model, which they don’t have; otherwise, they would have it on display. He was very adamant about it. Finally, he knew he wasn’t getting his way with me as if his pay is based on commission.
So, then – he tries to convince me to try renting it. I told this character, «it will cost me $ 50.00 a day.» And, «I rather own my own for that matter.» Then, he tells me, «try Craigslist.» I replied to him, «I don’t have time dealing with flaky people.» Sad to say, this sales person was a flake himself.
I didn’t show my animosity; but, that’s exactly what this reject wanted see in me. He wanted me to walk out of the store mad and irate. But, through the Grace of God – I dealt with plenty of asshole like him; it’s no big deal. Plain and simple.
Bottom line, this imbecile didn’t want to bring the merchandise out for me. Why work there if you’re going to malinger on the job? Okay, so this jerk, brought the item to the cashier and took off! As if he had something better to do. The female manager was a jerk as well! As a result, I took matters into my own hands.
I loaded my purchase on the hand truck they had and loaded it myself. I’m quite sure the store employees were watching me like a hawk, making sure I wasn’t about to hyjack their dolly. As a came back to return the dolly, the character that was giving me a bunch of lip was bagging a customer’s items.
Let the cashier do that! As I left, I said, «thank you» ever though I had no acknowledgement. All in All – This store sucks! No customer empathy whatsoever! Repeat business from me? Yeah Right!

Kids with cheap bike locks– beware!!! this place sells bolt cutters for like $ 10, people be buying bolt cutters and just ditching them after they cut a cheesy lock off!
I on the other hand had to cut the lock off my garage, after losing the key…

For the most cost effective tools Harbor Freight is the place. They give life long warranty on all hand tools. You can get a mini drill her for $ 10 with all the attachments and a rechargeable power drill for $ 20. I loved this new store it was well organised and clean.
They have reduced prices on all items, I got a three pack of instant glue for 0.99 cents its amazing how they keep their prices lower then even the 99 cent store.

It’s great to see a new Harbor Freight store open in Anaheim. The store looks great, the prices are incredible and the staff is friendly. A must go.

They’re open! The AC is ice cold! They’ve got tons of tools and gadgets you never knew you need!
Everything is very well organized, there’s lots of staff to help you, and the aisles are very wide. The only drawback is the cashiers are still a little green, so the lines move a bit slow.
Check your mail for coupons, bc I noticed a bunch of stuff there that was already on sale, but if you have your coupons, you get an additional discount. And they prices here are already very competitive!
Don’t think this is a place just for manly men. There’s also homegoods and cookware. I spotted a 3 piece set of cast iron pans for only $ 14.99! There’s even stuff that would be helpful with crafts and jewelry making; even stuff for pets like beds and leashes.
