Honda Center

Even at the metal detectors, they stop the lines during the singing of the national anthem, which I believe is absolutely respectful and patriotic.
The arena is very spacious, and the view of the rink is a lot more clear than I thought. They say that going to a hockey game is more thrilling than watching on TV or listening live on the radio. They also say that playoff games are more thrilling than regular season games.
If you have a deal for specific packages, GO STRAIGHT TO THE BOX OFFICE BEFORE YOU GO IN. Once you’re inside, it is assumed that you have the required vouchers and such in order to redeem what they offer to you. I had a deal that would give me a free beer. Since I didn’t read my email carefully, I lost out on it. So make sure you get that taken care of before you go inside.
Good luck to all you hockey fans who are afraid of heights. Hope you can afford the seats by the Plexiglas.

This is a relatively good venue especially if you have sat in the nose bleeds at the Staples Center. Views are pretty good considering it’s size. We sat in the club seats for PBR and they were very comfortable but the food prices were even higher than I expected. Peanuts for $ 7.50 and a 12oz bottle of Shocktop Topping is $ 9.50. I have included pics of club menu as of January 2016. Parking is ample outside the actual venues parking lot and priced much better with only a short walk.

I have been to many a event here, concerts, hockey, bull riding and even basketball. And to me this will always and I mean always be The Pond to me. I really did this place for events. Yes food and beers are expensive but that runs pretty typical when it comes to arenas and stadiums.
My cousin and I actually went to the PBR last night and we decided no matter where you sit, there is no bad seat in the house. Hockey games here same thing, you can be next to the ice or upper level still a great view of the action. This place is just kept so clean and even though its not new any more it still has kept the good looks and doesn’t feel dated.
The selection of food here is pretty decent but you gotta be willing to do a lap around the place and find what you want. They offer some great selection of beers as well. With Golden Road brewery now down the street you are going to see a lot of their beer here. Oh and the popcorn here is fantastic, seriously its freaking good. Better than most movie theaters. CHEERS!!!

I’ve attended all types of events at the beautiful Honda center (aka the pond to the O. g Orange County residents) my least favorite are music concert. For some reason the acoustics don’t carry all that well. My favorite are basketball games. there’s not a bad seat in the arena. I’ve also caught an LA KISS game (hey nobody’s perfect) I didn’t enjoy it much only because the Honda center wasn’t meant for arena football and the quality of football was terrible. Hockey games are great, but if you have nose bleed seats you might want to consider just staying home and watching it on the big screen. The parking lot is nicely lit and safe and the furthest parking spot is still only a 5−7min walk away from the entrance. Overall the Honda center is an amazing experience and worth checking out!

Been here for a few concerts where my options were to see the artist here or staples center and the obvious choice is this stadium. Much smaller than staples center so you get a better view of your favorite artists.

I love my Honda Center! I have zero complaints with service or location. Parking is always available and for events, they’re cheaper at farther areas if you’re willing to walk. Most people do for $ 5. Not bad but I can’t stand the cold.
All food stands are awesome!!! My fave is the Outlaw Steakhouse. It’s a must try at least once. Close friends of ours recommended the BBQ brisket nachos and we’ve been hooked ever since! Try the BBQ burger as well. They put a good amount of meat so don’t worry. The pizzas are alright but if you get em, get the pepperoni!
Restrooms are everywhere and easy access. Exits are easy to find too! Wear comfy footwear because stairs will be a bitch, especially if you’re always running late to a game or concert… or if you’re one of those people who likes to walk around or like being one of the first ones to leave the parking lot!

OK​.so either I’ve never noticed it at all or THIS IS ALL NEW! YOGURT IS NOW AVAILABLE ON THE 400s LEVEL! At the MAIN STREET DELI!
It’s the same price for a waffle cone yogurt or just in a cup, $ 6.50. TIP: get it on a waffle cone and ask for an extra cup! (Tip over the cone into the cup if you’ll take your time at eating it!) THE COLD NEER BOTHERED ME ANYWAY! –so I eat it as is!
The portion is massive and you can get it with sprinkles! Seriously, it’s like 3 times as much as what they give at the CENTER ICE YOGURT CART on the 200s level.

I haven’t been to enough large stadiums like this to offer an expert opinion, but it seemed pretty typical to me. The only other one I’ve been to as many times is the Staples Center, and perhaps the nosebleed seats here are a bit more vertiginous? I’ve been in the nosebleeds twice now, once for a Ducks game eons ago and just recently for the Motley Crue farewell concert (\m/​\m/​) and they are indeed fearsomely angled. That said, you do get a surprisingly great view of the floor from up there, so there’s that. And at least it’s in an area where you can still score some free parking relatively close if you don’t mind walking a bit – that’s pretty impossible with someplace like Staples.
STEPH JUDGEMENT: A typical large stadium for sporting events and concerts.

We saw the Disney On Ice production of «Frozen». This is not competition level skating by any stretch of the imagination. The skating at Knott’s Berry Farm’s Snoopy on Ice is far superior. However, if you have a kid that’s into «Frozen» they’ll absolutely be mezmorized by the show. The show is definitely more for the kids than the adults and that’s OK. They’ve got you by the privates when it comes to merchandising during the show. The regular concession for drinks had a VERY long line during the intermission, but it was «step right up» for the $ 15 snow cone in the Olaf cup.

I must say the «frozen on ice show» not for me but my boys loved it!

Came here for the Wooden Legacy. Seats are narrow, aisles are narrow, (not bariatric friendly) and parking was expensive. The restrooms were well kept and way finding was pretty straight forward. Overall, the stadium gives off a more intimate environment obviously not as large as staples center. The view from all parts of the stadium appeared to be pretty good!

Honda Center is home to the Anaheim Ducks, everybody knows that but I actually came through here for a Lakers pre-​season game. My reasoning was it was close and Kobe might not be around much longer in the NBA. First off, parking is about 15 bucks but they were so friendly and directed you accordingly that you feel the steep prices are justified. Everything was organized and wonderful.
The seats were roomy enough though I would love for a bit more space but I was content with it. I had pretty good seats, about mid row section so I was able to really see how tall and quick the players from both squads were. Some keynotes include the pricey food which everyone knows, keep your tickets on you the whole time, and the basketball court was a bit smaller than an NBA regulated court should be in my opinion.
Overall it was a nice time and I’d probably go check out another pre-​season game when the Lakers return or when an Anaheim bball team is expanded into the league.

I do like this place for it’s concerts. Sound system is not bad. I was here for two YG concerts and they both were above expectations.
I never had to pay for parking or deal with any other things so I’m not sure what the deal is with those things. I’m sure during their normal sports events, it’s just a pain like any other venue.
So for concerts, the sound system aspect… the music sounds good to me.

This is one of my favorite concert venues. Whenever one of my favorite bands come to town, I hope that it will stop here. I recently saw the Foo Fighters here and I was delighted.
First access to the venue is very easy. The venue is right off the freeway. Second, parking is good. No spot is too far from an entrance. Third, seating is decent. Even the cheap tseats are not that bad.
I would like more modern food choices and more restrooms but I could easily say that about any place. The venue is starting to age a little and maybe a facelift is warranted but I still love it.

Like every special events venue, the food and drinks are extremely over priced. They won’t give you a cup of water. That leaves you with the option to pay $ 5 for a bottle of water or go thirsty throughout the event.
I have enjoyed several Ducks games here, but every single time I’ve been here, there’s been an issue with the restroom. Every single time for the past 2 years (at least), thentoilets in the women’s restroom on the club level cannot flush. It’s not just one toilet in one restroom; its multiple toilets in multiple restrooms on that floor. While I was waiting in line to use the restroom recently (since there were only 2 out of 5 or 6 stalls that had functioning toilets), I heard other women say that the other restrooms were also having issues. This is a huge inconvenience.
Please fix the women’s restrooms on the club level. It would make hundreds of women happy.

PARKING
–Honda Center: $ 25
–Across the street from the Honda Center: $ 20
–Driving a couple minutes past the Honda Center and parking in a random business lot: $ 10
Basically, the more you pay for parking, the better the security and the less walking you will have to do.
To start off the night, the doors opened only an hour before the concert was scheduled to start. Passing security to get inside the venue was horrible. The workers were inefficient, slow, and did not provide any direction. The concert, of course, started late to accommodate the people who were still stuck outside.
So, I came here for the Big Bang — 2015 World Tour ‘MADE’ concert. Yes, I will pause for your squeals of excitement. Even though this venue is not the greatest or my first choice for concerts, Big Bang’s performance made it acceptable. When I first got to my seat (section 209 row Q seat 14), I was pleasantly surprised as to how close I was to the stage.
As others have mentioned, the venue is smaller than STAPLES Center. Bathrooms were not found at every exit, and as usual, there were long lines for women’s restrooms. Mixed alcoholic beverages were $ 10 – 15 depending on the brand of alcohol. The drinks were not strong, clearly more juice/​soda than alcohol. Thumbs up* for actually having cupholders on the arms of the chairs.
All I want to do is rave about how amazing this South Korean boy band, Big Bang’s performance was but this review is for the Honda Center. I am glad that I had enough room to stand up and dance the night away, without bumping into the people around me.

I was incredibly impressed with this venue. I hadn’t been here in a million years since it was the Anaheim Pond. We came for a concert and unfortunately didn’t have the best seats — damn you, Ticketmaster! I must admit, it kind of made up for it by not having to wait in line for the ladies room. This is huge for me when I’ve been at enormous venues like this. I’ve actually been desperate enough on a few occasions to duck into the mens room — I have no shame, I know.
The facilities are great. Plenty of concession stands and a bar that serves premium booze. Premium as in top shelf stuff. which was a great surprise. Lines here were manageable as well. Staff friendly, courteous and helpful.
Parking was pretty easy to get in and out of which is also a significant plus. I live a long way from here and contemplated staying the night, but I was disappointed with the hotel selection nearby, so I changed my mind. I would make the trek from LA to see someone I was really into seeing live.

Expounding on the review of my fellow Unilocal Elite brethren, Steven C., allow me to state that the Honda Center is good for well… what it’s good for.
I’ve traveled to this place on a number of occasions for various concerts, performances and venues. Most recently and against my will, I/​we traveled out to see Chris Brown perform and while I’m not necessarily a fan of his… let alone crowds, I do applaud this establishment’s organization yet I’m compelled to speak candidly on the cons as I see DEFINITE room for improvement.
As opposed to appearing on the next episode of «Parking Wars» and with attempt at being responsible post our indefinite booze consumption, we Ubered our way out. This proved to have been impeccable thinking on our behalves.
Unlike other stadiums and arenas, i.e.: the Staples Center in DTLA, Citizens Arena in Ontario or the Forum in Inglewood, the Honda Center doesn’t necessarily possess a plethora of parking structures and abodes to toss your wheels.
I suppose they’re keeping it simple as from the freeway and exiting Katella alone, one can without hesitation view folx’ directing drivers to and fro.
My theory is that they’ve learned to K.I.S.S. (Keep it simple stupid).
The unfortunate downside however, is that parking while relatively abundant, possesses inconsistent fare prices and with the idiot motorists that solidify the conveyance systems within Southern California —- this is an unequivocal recipe for disaster.
Whereas in DTLA, there are an array of options ranging from a mere $ 5.00 should you elect to park in BFE or a whopping $ 50.00 for valeting upfront with the celebs, such is not the case at the Honda Center and I truly ponder if this is something they’ve considered improving upon.
Furthering things, while some may view the venue as «intimate» I completely think otherwise. Call me crazy, but I enjoy my space!!!

That stated, don’t travel here anticipating to stretch out. There is NO, repeat NOOO foot room at this joint and bearing in mind that I’ve had the displeasure of sitting within the nosebleed section as well, I can personally attest to the view being all the more awkward.
While yes, provided you possess ²⁰⁄₂₀ vision or have undergone Lasik, you’re more than able to partake in a bird’s eye view, there are NO… repeat NOOOOO JumboTrons panning to any areas on either side of the performance stage; they only pan straight-​forward.
The result is an undeniable blind spot as attendees scrounge to configure who is whom all the while having their toes massaged by cumulus clouds and downing booze to further deter the symptoms wafted by way of their altitude sickness.
Ya know… I’d have been all the more willing to grant a solid 4 stars to this place upon my departing Beyonce’s concert a number of years back.
Hands down, she SHUT IT DOWNNNNN!
Then again, she’s Beyonce’ aka a bionic «Queen Bey’» and perhaps she paid extra to appease her «bee hive» with upgraded performance equipment.
Factoring in the hanging… or dangling (your choice) sound system that duly serves as a visual deterrent… and without a doubt are guest (s) presented with all the more of a clusterphuk.
To be frank, I didn’t even know who any of the opening acts were and had to be told that Omarion had just performed as the sound system itself was indisputably deplorable.

In summary, perhaps with the addition of a parking structure… fit with, say… a shuttle system not to mention improved amps and phonograph, the Honda Center will be all the more enabled to warrant a 3^rd and/​or 4^th star from me…
In the interim, I suppose I’m compelled to digress…

Well me and my husband came to watch the Harlem Globetrotters I’m a little disappointed in at the end when you go to get the ball signed you’re not able to do that because there’s no organization I only got one signature and it took 20 minutes to get one and then the team left the court and they still have plenty time to where they could see you could have it signed so I was wondering what could I do because I would love to have my balls signed
