Italian Pizza Rosa

Average at best.
Uneven dough, half the slices were thicker than the others, so it cooked unevenly, with some of the slices underdone and doughy. The other slices were tough and overdone.
The sauce is pretty basic, no real flavor. The cheese is good.
I was quoted it would be ready in 30 minutes, actually took almost 42 minutes, with no explanation, apology or offer of a drink.
$ 12.25 for a 16″ large cheese pizza is a decent price, but the quality is not high enough for me.

OMG THIS PIZZA IS AWESOME! Fresh ingredients, nice place! totally worth the trip when you have a craving for some good pizza! THEY HAVE A SUPER KING PIZZA! BIGGEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER SEEN-!

You won’t be disappointed as the pizza is full of toppings the way it should be. Plain and simple you want quality and quantity by the slice buy your pizza here. They got that neighborhood pizza you want.

Lowering this to two stars just because it takes so damn long. No one else in the shop and I still waited 45 minutes for one pizza.

This place used to be really good. They used to have large pizzas topped with the freshest ingredients and the pizza edges would literally be falling out of the box it was so big. I think its had changed owners twice since then.
I recently ordered a ham and pineapple pizza. I usually don’t order this type of pizza. The crust was ok. The cheese and toppings were average. The ham was semi fresh and the pineapple was nothing special.
Price was the problem. I paid $ 15 and some change for a medium two topping pizza. For the lack of quality ingredients they put on the pizza this place is not worth the price.
I noticed they had a few deals posted on the wall by the register. I think all students get a small discount on any pizza on Monday?
Overall, the only reason I would come back to this place is because it is a mile away from my house. Otherwise, it is just not worth it.
Tip: make it how it used to be.

This place is a hidden gem! Their pizzas are so good. The crust is cooked to perfection every time. Also, they have these really good meatballs in marinara sauce, use the excess marinara for the crust of the pizza. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because they don’t deliver :-(

Very good pizzas perfer thjs to anything in my area. Garlic bread is good as well. If i had anything bad to say it would be not to buy the pasta its not too good to be honest… But everytime im with buddys and want some pizza this is definately the first place on my mind. I wanted to like this place but I just ordered pizza for pick up and was pretty disappointed. I ordered a medium (which is sized like a large really, ‘merica) 2 topping pizza but didn’t ask for the price over the phone. I was surprised to see it was $ 14 which I thought was kinda pricy for a pizza. Anyhow, maybe it’s bomb pizza and it’s a mom and pop shop so let’s give it a shot.
On the way out of the shop I was surprised at how heavy the pizza box was. After eating I can definitely say that whatever cheese they’re using is pretty dense and filling. I didn’t like it felt like there was way too much cheese in every bite.
Overall quality of the pizza was edible but not very good. And at the price of $ 14 for a medium 2 topping I’m expecting awesome round table tasty pizza.
I wouldn’t eat here personally and would pass. The major pizza chains taste better than this place. :(

What can I say, except this is hands down the best pizza around… period!!! Actually, all their food is amazing, but they are mainly know for their pizza. Especially their ‘super king’, which is for BIG parties which takes a SUV to get back home. LOL
Seriously, I grew up down the street, and it was a ‘staple’ in our diet growing up. The area has gone down hill, so that parts a little dicey, and it’s pretty much a to-​go only place… But let me tell you that no matter where I have lived since then, I actually travel to use them! I currently live in Irvine, and I just consider it the cost of having the pizza, whereas the round trip is roughly an hour… it’s that worth it! I won’t have pizza anymore except from old ‘slice of heaven’! Not to mention, their prices are still old school as well! And I’m not alone, because last time I was there, I had to wait a few minutes for my order and was talking to others waiting… who were from Brea, Yorba Linda, Corona!!! I’m not alone in my quest to keep the BEST pizza place alive!!!

Best pizza ever! Gets the super king with pepperoni, pineapple and jalapeño! Nice owners!

Just finished a 16″ pizza with extra cheese, beef, onion and Italian sausage. Fantastic. Just perfect cheese, sauce and onion.

This place is amazing! What a find! Pepperoni pizza was perfect, antipasto salad was great and to top it all off, they have cannoli! I’m upset that I’ve wasted so much time and money at Zitos! Pizza Rosa is my new pizza spot!

Man oh man! You take a bite and it takes you back to when pizza was pizza! I swear I just went back to 94 – 95. This is pizza that you ate as a kid and loved. Great slices, great cheese and the crust… delicious. a 20 inch fed 6 of us with ease and I wish I would have tried more toppings. Overall excellent in taste, size and price. I can’t believe I lived across the street and never tried it. Recommend to all.

Pizza was delicious! New pizza spot that we will definitely frequent. Small place, only a couple tables but it’s definitely worth visiting and reasonably priced.

Conveniently off the 57 freeway. The food was delicious and TV in the lobby for entertainment. Definitely bookmarking for the next time I’m traveling on the 57 fwy. Pork sausage was very flavorful and hand made.

This is my go to party pizza place. They have a huge 30″ pie that is a great conversation piece for any party.
The pizza itself is good and they are always very friendly.

I’ve lived in the area for 10 years and never knew about you. (Shame on me) And thanks to Unilocal,I’ll now have to drive to the dirty ghetto many more times to get my hands on your delicious, cheesy, good quality, flavored pizzas. .
You are so tiny and smell sooo good inside… your flavors have soaked in the walls and stained them with 30 years of pepperoni potpourri. Your top is dressed beautifully and baked to a ripe age… and I Can’t stop eating your slice… after tasty slice, of lucious mouth watering pie once your box is opened. Without a corp, u can keep the price right.
Its my pleasure to avoid a shank and liquor store robbery just to get into your box again. I dont even worry about the oil lake in the parking lot. ··Hopscotch skills··. Nor do I care that your sign dont light up at night. I’m not afraid of loud music from tinted windshield vehicles or loitering. Even the banged up Chrysler out there. The guys running through the lot ducking around the dark corner looked too busy for me anyways… …I could see enough from the car lights reflecting off oil and broken glass, since theres no parking lot lights out there. So there you have it. I’ll be back!!!

If you want to feed a big group of people without breaking the bank, then this place is for you. Located in an old strip mall in Anaheim, it’s easy to pass it up as it’s tucked away behind a Del Taco next to a liquor store.
We’ve gotten take out several times and haven’t been disappointed. It’s a family biz that serves large slices of pizza topped with your choice of hearty meats on a thick crust. The first time we paid extra for a crust similar to something like a deep dish version — it’s not worth it. Save the $ 3 and stick with their normal crust and spend it on more toppings if you must.
They do have a «Big Daddy» version that’s humongous in size. There were six adults chomping away, and we didn’t even get through half. Since the pie is sort of a monstrosity, they cut the center pieces into squares for easier consumption. The box that it comes in required our friend to put the seat down in her Scion to fit it in. It’s big and only sets you back about $ 28; definitely worth it if you can make several meals out of it from the leftovers.
Pay with cash to avoid credit card charges –it’s not a lot in savings, but every bit counts. There is very limited seating inside, so this place is pretty much to-​go as there is only one small table that people usually use to wait for their orders.
Will keep coming back to get my pizza fix!

We just opened the Business next door. #ochoas chorizo #2 and we see people in and out of this place. Plus they helped out a lot on our Grand Opening by us providing the chorizo and them making Chorizo pizza for us. It was super tasty.
There menu is very Italian.
So far everything that I’ve tasted has a great kick to it. There Pizza is cheesy with the toppings I love, as well as there salad, and today I tasted there spaghetti and meatballs. Wow. It’s really good. They have a good business and definitely will keep this up. Good job guys.
