I come here pretty often for the chicken. I was there a few weeks ago and got a togo order. When I got home I realized that an item that I ordered wasn’t in the bag. I didn’t make it a big deal or go back to complain since I go often. Today I go in get my usual order and I tell the cashier(don’t know his name) about what happened the last time I was there. Immediately he got so defensive and said«No, I never make mistakes» I couldn’t believe he said that. He didn’t apologize or even let me finish my sentence. It was a simple mistake that one of his workers made. They just forgot to put an item in. No big deal. It wasn’t the fact that they forgot the item that I was upset about it was his attitude about the situation. I’m never going back there again. I hope he reads this review and recognizes he lost loyal customers due to his LACK of customer service.

Service was great. Food was good. The beans taste like store bought but the chicken and potato salad were awesome. However, this place is definitely not a single dollar sign in price. I paid almost 9 dollars(their lunch special) for what was basically 3 chicken tacos(after putting the rice beans and salsa on the flour tortilla). I would never pay 3 dollars for the taco I made. I highly suggest coming to this place with a friend and getting the $ 14 special of a whole chicken and double the sides. Share the price of this expensive place with a friend. Great food but the price jut isn’t economical for a single eater.

Good food and reasonably priced. I got the half chicken special and it was $ 6.99. Comes with tortillas, salsa, rice, beans and potato salad. If you have been to Juan Pollo it is pretty much the same exact type of place. I’ll be back.

First time here, and the food was great! Initially, I thought the chicken burrito was going to be underwhelming, but it actually filled me up pretty well.

So lezzz be totally honest. This place is a place to get rice and chicken. Its not great, its not bad, it just is. I wouldn’t recommend or talk bad about the place except for one thing. I HATE their teriyaki sauce. The chicken is decent but not special or outstanding. They serve salad with every meal which is kinda nice and refreshing. I have been here about 4 times since 2002 and it has always been about the same to me. Consequently you will get grub that will fill you up, but it wont delight your taste buds nor will it have you craving to come back at the drop of a hat. The big advantage to me is that it is next door to my barber. Consequently if I had to wait in line for a haircut, I pop in here to grab grub to take back to work to eat while I am working. Otherwise I don’t know that I would have come back. So yeah nothing special nothing bad… just incredibly average…

Don’t make the same mistake I did and judge this place by its exterior appearance. This is some of the best chicken I’ve ever had! The skin was crispy, the breast meat was tender and moist, the tortillas were fresh and hot, and the rice and beans were excellent. Probably the only thing I didn’t like was the potato salad, but I’m not a big potato eater so its just my particular preference. I like that they have a chili bar and a self serve soda machine, and there’s plenty of room inside to sit and have lunch. It’s priced reasonably as well as we had drive through yesterday and it was more expensive than our half chicken plates. Highly recommended!

Best chicken around! I don’t buy rotisserie chicken anywhere else but here! The flavor is just too delicious to describe! You have to try it for yourself to see what I’m talking about!

Another solid help from Unilocalers. I’m from Valencia, CA and just celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Johns Incredible. I was looking for a family deal to bring for a small gathering at my sisters house and was contemplating between Juan Pollo and this place King Pollo. Though Juan Pollo has multiple branches it seems that the percentage of having more 5 star reviews are leaning more to King Pollo. So I ordered the 2 whole chicken deal and WOW it was amazing! I can’t say crunchy from the outside but definitely juicy from the inside. Salsa was so delicious that you can taste the freshness. Also, the potato salad and chicken flavored rice including the tortilla is perfect match with their chicken. Before I forget, excellent customer service. Cashier help me patiently choosing alternative side order since I didn’t get the beans to go with it. It’s a must try! Will be back if we’re in the area again.

Chicken teriyaki or any special plate is always worth it and the price speaks competitive and cost efficient for the broke wallets. I never bought for a party but the portions and size looks amazing for a group. I always walk in and see someone walking out with a big order like that…

This place is horrible. I would give it no stars, if I could. The tacos were served on hard corn tortillas, and they were filled with cartilage and skin from the chicken. It was very gross, and the owner was very rude and refused to give me a refund. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

There aren’t many rotisserie chicken places anymore and I found this place on Unilocal. It isn’t as good as Juan Pollo, but it’ll do. We had the mini pack and the chicken was kind of small. It was tender and juicy and flavor was decent. The potato salad is only ok(again, not as good as Juan Pollo). Salsa was whatever. Megh. I’d come again, but it’s not at the top of my list.

Just had their lunch combo again. It’s really juicy! Definitely worth driving during lunch break. The workers were very friendly when I asked for more napkin wipes. Don’t bother going to el pollo loco next door, definitely go here for better food and better price.

This place is known for it’s whole chickens, which taste great, but I like the teriyaki chicken plate even better. It’s served over rice with a side of lettuce. There is ranch dressing and teriyaki sauce on the side. The combination of the chicken, rice and lettuce tastes great. I don’t know any teriyaki place that makes a better teriyaki plate. I usually order to go and my order is ready in about 5 minutes or less.

I could imagine El Pollo Loco being like this before it blew up into a super sized fast food chain. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some of that charbroiled goodness with some Tastee Freeze to finish off the night… there’s just something about this place, that does just enough more. The meat’s just a bit juicier on the inside, just a bit crunchier on the outside. The pico de gallo has that much more fresher feel and zip to the cilantro like someone just picked them at a farm. And with a 6.99 special and 21.99 family meals, the price is right. Solid place all around.

Looking for a quick bite on a Sunday night, we stumbled upon King Pollo. After verifying the Unilocal reviews, we decided to bite the bullet and try it out. I love these small random places in Anaheim that aren’t in the best neighborhoods, but delivery consistenly good, reasonably priced food. I got the dinner special which came with a leg quarter and I think some white meat as well. You also get some sides with it like rice, mashed potatoes, and tortillas, but the star was definitely the chicken. If you can get a half chicken or a whole chicken, I’d get that. I’m a huge meat eater though, so depending on how much chicken you can devour(and I can devour a ton), it might be perfect for you. This place reminds me of an El Pollo Loco, but the chicken is SO much better. It’s more juicy and flavorful since it’s rotisserie and not grilled. I’m definitely coming back for more! If you’re craving good chicken and you’re in the area, check it out!
