Very bad experience! All she wants is your money
I’ve been comming here for like 4 months now and my skin looks the same! She was supposed to do extractions and she didn’t do nothing on my face I’m very disappointed because I read all these good reviews and went there thinking she was gonna help me with my acnee problem and she didn’t even know why my skin wasnt getting better! Going to «Dr Mary Kate’s» office is a waste of time and money!

Dr Rohan is friendly and the medicine she prescribed for my skin problem was right on. She was kind enough to give me samples to save me money. Office seems small-​ish but quality of service is top notch.

Thanks to all the great reviews that Dr. Rohan had on our beloved Unilocal,I scheduled an appointment and became her patient!
Although after my first visit, I was going to give the office only 4 stars because my wait was really long and the waiting room was packed (plus, it is a VERY small waiting room). However, after my subsequent visits, I’m pleased to announce that I agree with the 5 star ratings and there is where it will stay!
As most females, I try to look the best I can at almost all times. The face is what is important, people don’t like to see flaws especially in themselves. Well, all of a sudden at 47 years old I was breaking out worse than I had in my life! I tried everything, all suggestions and nothing worked. I felt so insecure! I’d had enough. I learned on Unilocal that I can schedule my appointment on
and that’s exactly what I did. What a great feature! I got to choose my time, my date and got reminders too. Perfect!
Off to my first appointment… this is where the wait was awful both in the waiting room and in the exam room. But once I met Dr. Rohan, all frustration went out the window. She’s so friendly, bubbly, thoughtful and knowledgeable! SCORE!
I was prescribed a cream that, in time, cleared up my hormonal, pre-​menopausal, embarrassing breakouts. She also asked if I needed any moles or spots checked… sure, why not! I used to always sunbathe with Crisco, hey, if it fries chicken… (that was our motto in the 80s). After a skin check, finding nothing to worry about, she said to come back in about 4 months for a re-​check of my breakouts.
Sure enough,
reminded me to make an appointment and I also got a friendly reminder postcard in the mail from the office. Although my face was virtually clear by then, I went back. I told her that the first Rx was a bit pricy now (over $ 100 after the price hike), she agreed and told me about a new one that was just as good and a bit less out of my pocket, along with a coupon.
I am highly recommending Dr. Rohan to anyone out there with dermatology issues. She is just adorable and a pleasure to visit.

Love Dr. Rohan, my 4 yr old was seen by her because he had to have a mole checked on his lower cheek area, she was great very patient with him and me. I explained to her that he loves his mole, he calls it his chocolate chip. She told him his chocolate chip was fine and he would have to have it checked again I. 6 months just to be sure nothing has changed. He left her office extremely happy.

I have been searching high and low for a dermatologist that doesn’t just shove a bunch of expensive meds in your face and shows little to no empathy for the patient. I was referred to Dr. Rohan by my insurance provider and was so excited to read her wonderful reviews on Unilocal.Plus, her office is open on some Saturday’s which is so convenient for those of us who have long work works M-​F. Dr. Rohan met me at my scheduled time and greeted me with a warm and inviting smile that took the ease off what I thought would be yet another routine dermatologist appt. that I wasn’t sure how would unfold. Dr. Rohan was thorough, caring and provided more than the usual quick appt that other doctors tend to do. I was able to ask as many questions as I wanted and felt a true sense of empathy and a mutual agreement in getting my skin condition under control. I’m very confident in seeing progress with my skin and would most definitely recommend her to anyone that is looking for a solid and professional Doctor. Thank you Dr. Rohan for your kindness, you are a true gem! A mention must be made as well for the girl at the front desk as well for her attentiveness and nice disposition. I did purchase some suggested items (nothing outlandishly expensive) yet also was provided with a nice assortment of samples. You are in no way obligated or forced into purchasing anything. With diligence and following Dr. Rohan’s suggestions I anticipate great results.

After going to a my 7 year old daughter’s pediatrician several times for Molluscum Contagiosum I was told over and over there is no treatment by a few different pediatricians. I took her to see Dr. Rohan. Immediately Dr. Rohan knew what it was and proceeded to treat her with a very simple and effective treatment. Dr. Rohan is such a blessing to our family. My daughter’s torso, underarms, elbows, and behind the knees were covered with molluscum which is a itchy and contagious skin rash. I could go on and on about Dr. Rohan and her great staff. She has treated myself, my husband, our daughter and also our high school wrestler who needed to be quickly treated so he could get back to wrestling asap. I highly recommend you give them a call.

I took a few days off just to take my daughter to her appointment that I booked on line and they couldn’t see me because they couldn’t find her appointment. I waited over two weeks for this appointment so it sucked that they weren’t accommodating at all… especially since they made me fill out paperwork and wait for over 20 minutes. They should have told me there was a problem from the beginning. I would recommend finding a more helpful facility.

This is the second dermatologist I have been to. The first one was a mostly negative experience and didn’t help much.
I came here to get treatment for acne problems as well as some pretty bad scars on my leg. It took no more than 10 to 15 min to see the doctor from the moment I walked in (including the time it took to fill out paperwork). The staff were very friendly and professional.
As for the doctor herself, she was very helpful. She explained how all the prescriptions worked and how to use them. She also answered all my questions very well and didn’t rush anything at all. Not only did I get the help I needed, but the doctor was also very outgoing and positive which helped lift my mood as well.
Overall, I would strongly recommend scheduling an appointment here if you are in need of a dermatologist!

Awful experience! First. I went there cause I had a rash in my skin. I waited for 40 minutes for the Dr. to see me. She saw me and told me that my skin was very irritated and to start using all these creams that guess what! She happened to sell them all! I felt like when you go to the salon and they all want to sell you hair products and make things up so that you get convinced and buy them! So I paid a copay of 40 dls plus 44 dls for the lotions she gave me cause I wanted to give it a try since I saw so many good reviews on Unilocal.
Well, 2 days later the rash appeared again and even worse! So I called to see what should I do. The assistants told me that she needed to see me so to come by next day. Well guess what… I went to her office and waited for 50 minutes this time! And the receptionist told me I had to pay again! So I told her… but I already paid 3 days ago and for the same problem that she couldn’t heal. She said. Yes, well you have to pay every time you come in the office.
So I paid… Then after the 50 minutes of waiting, the Dr. barely saw my face and just told me to take one of the medications off (a medication I didn’t even get to use so basically not change anything) and to keep on with the other creams she sold me.
Then I get home and saw that I was missing a wash she prescribed me. So I called and told them they missed putting it in my bag… They told me, that’s a wash we sell here at the office so you would have to come and pick it up. It’ll be 33 more dls!!! (so they forgot to put it in my bag and I’m the one that has to go all my way there)
I swear I’m never coming back to this sales store! Cause that’s what it is! They will only rip off your money and convince you that you need all of their products! I have insurance and I paid for what it was supposed to be just one visit almost 200 dls! And my rash didn’t even got cured! She shouldn’t be called a Dr. She should go open a sales store or something like that.

Extremely nice! She noticed what was wrong right away. I had a skin infection called impetigo and worried about it frantically while researching the Internet. She prescribed me antibiotics and offered ointment samples that I could try before buying it from a pharmacy. Definitely recommend this place

Really like doctor rohan a lot. She is very nice and attentive. Answers my questions with confidence and obviously has excellent knowledge. Lots of availability to get an appt quickly which is why i started going to her. ONLY negative is time spent waiting. Each time i have been there, i am actually seen by the doctor between 15 and 45 minutes after my scheduled appt time. So don’t come in on a tight schedule! Will keep going to her and would recommend to family and friends!

Dr. Rohan has been my dermatologist for a few years. I see her on and off now since she doesn’t accept my new insurance, not her fault. She often gives me samples of expensive RX if I tell her my insurance won’t cover it. Last time I saw her, 2 weeks ago, she gave me enough samples to last me for 2 months. Her office is quite a drive for me but I wouldn’t go anywhere else because she knows her stuff.

She’s open Saturdays. She’s amazingly thorough and very informative. Patient care is obviously her #1 priority.

*First Visit*
Based on my first experience, I am very pleased with Dr. Rohan. I am on a mission to find a doctor who can help me get rid of my adult acne along with a rash I have had on my face for the past 2 months. Based on her Unilocal reviews, I wanted to give her a try.
From my very first interaction with the office, it was very pleasant. They provided accurate pricing for cash patients and even followed up with me 2 days before my appointment to confirm my appointment time and asked if I had any questions.
For my appointment, I was a little less than 10 minutes late (shame on me). When I found the office, I just signed in and waited. The girl I spoke with in the front was very friendly. The wait was around 30 minutes, but I wasn’t phased by that considering I was the one who was late. Also, I filled out all my paperwork online, so I didn’t have to fill any forms out.
Dr. Rohan was very friendly and I addressed all of my concerns with her. The only think I was unsure of was that I felt that she didn’t ask a lot of questions about my symptoms of the rash I had. However, she seemed to know what it was right off the bat, so maybe that just wasn’t needed. Since I am a cash patient, she definitely helped me out on some prescriptions and added a few extra samples. I did purchase a face wash and sunblock.
The price for my first consultation was a bit pricey, but I feel like it was worth it for the experience. I hope that I can get rid of the gross acne and rash, so I’ll have to write a follow-​up review when I see her in May.

She recommended me the best products without being overly pushy. My skin has been improving since going to Dr. Rohan.

I just had my fourth appointment with Dr. Rohan yesterday and I’ve been pretty happy and satisfied.
Pros: I came to see her for my acne and she was very helpful and spends sufficient time with you during your appointment to discuss your options for treatment. She makes you feel comfortable and is very welcoming! Another thing I was really happy about was that they accepted my insurance, which is not a major company and is from my small hometown. She also gave me a ton of coupons for my first prescription purchase! Lastly, every time you go to the office, she has free samples for different skin care products (ie. body wash, lotion, etc.) set out for her patients!
Cons: The parking lot is always super packed, so make sure you come a little early to park so you get to your appointment on time. Otherwise, I’ve seen a sign for free valet, but I haven’t tried that yet.
The only reason why she’s not getting 5 stars from me is the wait. Based on my previous appointments, after signing in, I usually have to wait about 10 – 15 minutes before they bring me into the exam room (which is not that bad). However, once in the room, I’ve waited another 15 – 20 minutes until actually seeing her. For a small office, I expect to see her closer to my scheduled appointment time rather than 25 – 35 minutes later.

I had a sudden break out across my face, slowly started making it’s way down to my neck and decided I needed to visit a dermatologist ASAP. Not knowing many local and affordable dermatologists, I found Dr. Rohan on Unilocal,and I am so glad I did.
The appointment process was so easy on ZocDoc. Like another review says, it almost feels weird at how easy the process was. I was also able to grab an appointment the next day.
Went in and she was very sweet and listened as I explain how it all started. I ended up needing antibiotics, which she gave me a prescription for the cheap medication. The ointments however, she ended up giving me a bunch of samples so I wouldn’t have to go out and buy it. Very sweet and considerate of her.
I had my doubts but so glad I went! If you ever need a trusty dermatologist, Dr. Rohan is the person to visit!

If you’re looking for a kind and patient doctor with a wealth of knowledge and experience PLUS a wonderfully approachable bedside manner… Dr. Rohan is it.
This is a charming and cozy office — which translates to solo practice with real patient-​doctor interface time. I love that for a doctor’s office because it means not getting shuffled around in an impersonal and oversized madhouse. You actually see the doctor the whole appointment.
Dr. Rohan doesn’t make you feel rushed and you have time to share all of your questions and concerns. She goes the extra mile to diagnose and make sure you get the treatment that you need. She also has a very comfortable and fun presence, which makes me feel at ease and enjoy seeing her as a patient. She’s definitely got a great sense of humor and a lot of times, you’ll hear bursts of laughter coming from the patient rooms :)
Products: there are a lot of quality, physician’s-office-only products in the office for things like acne, sensitive skin, rosacea, hair loss, anti-​aging, etc. She won’t badger you to buy them — sample them while you’re in the waiting room or ask for her recommendations. My whole family uses these products and we like it.
She sells cute protective sun clothing and hats too! I have a whole wardrobe of those for hiking, beach, fun in the sun since I don’t like to use sunblock everywhere.
I also love that I could refer anyone in the family to her. Any time someone mentions a skin problem, I would suggest Dr. Rohan and they would always give me amazing feedback after seeing her — «She’s so easy to talk to you can tell she really cares!» «She diagnosed and treated this thing on me that no one else has been able to figure out!» «I love her!»
See for yourself, you may just find your forever dermatologist like I did! :)

Coverage: if you’re not sure, call and check if out-​of-​pocket/​your insurance plan will cover you before you go in.
Parking gets difficult on the weekdays so I would plan for time to park. They do have free valet at the hospital next door if you’d rather not drive around for parking. She’s also open on Saturday mornings.
Disclaimer: I was a patient here and enjoyed her office so much that I came to work for her part time. This is my honest review from the patient and provider points of view so I hope this has been helpful!

Let me start with I chose Mary Kate based on Unilocal reviews, rather than the dermatologist my doctor recommended, so I feel it important to share my experience with other Unilocalers that may be considering her.
First, the facility they are at, the Medical building next to Anaheim Memorial Hospital is always busy, read no available parking. When I finally got a spot and made it up to the office, had to take the stairs because there were about 30 people waiting for the elevator, again always busy. SO I get up to the 3^rd floor and the door is locked, kind of a shock, and then I saw a little sign to knock. I did and the receptionist opened the door. This seems strange, it’s not like they asked who it is or anything, just opened the door.
So I sat there and waited the customary 20 minutes before being taken to a room, to wait another 10 – 15 to see the doctor for 1 minute… Reminds me of Kaiser. She comes in and gives me a diagnosis, maybe more accurate than Kaiser docs did, explained what was going on and gave me a prescription.
The prescription worked ok, it is pretty expensive, but a treatment not a cure. So I guess I am resigned to suffer and pay my whole life.
So I go back for follow-​up visit, same situation as above. She said it looked ok, I pointed out a small bump I have suffered with and didn’t know what it was, Mary Kate said it was a simple wart and she could take care of it for me in a couple seconds. She dips a Q-​tip in liquid nitrogen and touches it to the wart for about 3 seconds and says it will die and fall off in a few days. Cool.
Well all is well with the world, about 3 weeks later I get a bill from her office, so after the $ 30 office visit I pay 20% and the insurance pays 80%. I am aghast looking at the bill, Outpatient Surgery… MY BALANCE $ 270 after the insurance.
WTF, I could buy a $ 3 bottle of Compound W or something to kill a wart, but she is billing me $ 270 after the insurance paid.
Ready for the best part, SHE DIDN’T KILL THE WART! It is back just as if nothing ever happened.
I hope you read this Mary Kate. And recommend that if you are going to charge someone hundreds or thousands of dollars for 3 seconds of your time, 20 cents worth of liquid nitrogen, and a Q tip, you should tell them. Hey I can try and take care of that wart in 3 seconds for $ 1500 or whatever it you plan to charge rather than sound like hey, you’re already here and paid me $ 30 for 2 minutes of my time, I’ll just take care of it for you.
Maybe medicine should be more like going to the auto mechanic. They have to disclose everything in writing BEFORE providing service.
