Happy customer! My boyfriend had another small issue with his car and we instantly knew to call Nick again! He came out early, got it fixed and gave us a good price. He will definitely continue to be our go to guy!

FIRST AND FOREMOST NICKS NEW NUMBER IS (714) 797‑3614!!! This dude Nick is the man!!! I almost gave up on my 95 civic because it gave me to many problems. Nick came by my house took a look at it and fix the problem asap! He is very helpful, made me feel really comfortable when he was working on my car. His prices are cheap he will not over charge you. It’s really hard to find a truthful and trust worthy mechanic now a days but honestly I found one and I’m sticking with Nick because I know for a fact that he would fix the problem and not charge me a arm and a leg for a simple fix! Need a mechanic? Well stop looking and call Nick!

Nick is the man and runs a super operation! First off: his **NEW number** is (714) 797‑3614 as at the time of this writing Unilocal is in the process of changing his old number to the new one.
My rear inner tie rod finally died, causing about .25″ of wheel play in my rear left wheel. Since my cherished 300ZX Twin Turbo has four wheel steering I didn’t want to have just anyone do this. Nick came by and replaced the said tie rod with no fanfare (I provided the part, however). He arrived on time, was able to confirm with me a few days before his scheduled visit, is very friendly and is a consummate professional, one with integrity (I mean seriously, way too many mechanics out there are always trying to rip you off!) but Nick is NOT one of them. Moreover, you have to respect anyone that values punctuality (he said he’ll be at my place at 7AM and he was on time), runs a tight ship, and gives you a fair estimate on the phone. He’s a straight shooter: if he cannot take care of a repair, he won’t BS you and will let you know on the phone.
I am very grateful for his expertise and learned a few things as well since he allowed me to watch how the part was replaced. How cool is that!
Keep up the great work Nick and thank you! I will, without a doubt, seek your services again in the near future. Like what some of the others on here noted, it was one of my best mechanic experiences and I’m 46.

Called him cuz my truck wouldnt start, had changed the battery starter myself after leaving me dry at work, a couple days later took it home and again died on me. Found him called and gave a brief description of what was going on. He showed up and gave me a diagnosis in no more than 2 minutes after arriving! Didnt charge me the diagnosis and even helped me get my truck started all free of charge! Nick is straight to the point and is ALL business and im all about that. Nick just came out and did some repairs to some of my company trucks (water pump, fuel pump, oil change and a cupple other random things) I can see why there are so many great reviews the communication was A+ the service was A+ prices are fair and servic is fast I will definitely be using him again and recommend him to any one who needs automotive repairs.

I have a Isuzu NPR and this is who I call for all my service. Was skeptical first but on his first visit he tried to go out of his way to save us money.

I’m spoiled by having Mechanick. Every person in my family is required to carry his card in their glove compartment. I had a low miles, 1995 BMW that had not been started in 3 years, and a low miles 1984 Lazy Daze RV that needed to be put back into use. He came well prepared with parts. He had reasonable rates. He arrived on time, and he miraculously revived my dead vehicles at record speed. They both run perfectly now, as if they had never been neglected. Mechanick is honest. He answers calls. I highly recommend him to my family and friends. You can be confident in choosing him as your mechanic.

This is the best mechanic we have ever had! And to top it off he comes to you. The owner himself is the man who came out to our house. He was prompt, nice, funny, considerate & quick. My mom had her drivers side view mirror broken and he replaced it quickly. It looks perfect! AWESOME PRICES! He knows how to fix everything on every type of car, truck, etc. My mom is very happy! We will definitely be using this mechanic again!

He talked himself out of his labor warranty without even first hearing what was wrong with my car. He did full head gasket repair in ⁴⁄₂₀₁₄. Claimed his copy of my receipt said 2013 when my copy said 2014 and I didn’t even own a car in 2013! Two stars because he does follow up (multiple times) to see if you still need his services, but I refuse to do business with a man who tries that hard to talk himself out of a warranty. Also, he doesn’t do work in LA. When I was unable to drive my car back to Irvine from LA he said the car had to be in Orange County for him to look at it.

Prompt, knowledgeable and great value. Nick is the real deal. Serviced our three cars quickly and we are satisfied customers. Will be using his services going forward. Highly recommend him!

Had all 4 rotors and pads changed on my 2008 Acura Rdx. Nick did a fast job at a reasonable price. He is also a down to earth cool guy. Great communication and would definitely recommend to other people. I look forward to doing more buisness with you in the future. Thanks Again

Honest and reliable mechanic with such a convenient service! My Jeep would not start this morning and being that today is Sunday and most repair shops are closed, I knew I needed a mobile mechanic. I searched Unilocal for the best one and found Nick, who was able to diagnose the problem right over the phone and was at my house within 30 minutes.
Nick provides honest service you can’t really find anymore. My Jeep had been having intermittent startup problems in the last few months. I brought it to my auto mechanic last week and they said I needed a new starter so I had that replaced for almost $ 200. Today, the same startup problem occurred. Nick came by and fixed the problem within 20 minutes. Should have gone to Nick in the first place. He is highly knowledgeable and has been a mechanic since the 80’s. I highly recommend Mobile Mechanick!

No need to waste any more time reading Unilocal reviews– CALL NICK … I was very skeptical when my husband told me a mobile mechanic was coming to look at our car which made a huge pop and barely got into our parking space the night before. My first thought was, he’s going to charge some astronomical price for the cost of driving out because, well, he can. Also, I was terrified because I know next to nothing about vehicles and my husband wasn’t home so I was sure he was going to tell me I needed a new «Johnson rod» or something… to which I would’ve replied, «oh yeah, mmhmm, I thought that might be the case.»
Long story short, Nick is the happiest, most honest mechanic I’ve met. He was at our place at 6 in the morning and while I could barely see straight he was chattering pleasantly the whole time (he had already been fixing someone else’s car that morning too!). I suppose our jeep’s insides are not laid out in the most convenient manner because he had to climb up and into the hood to get the broken spark plug and he did all with nary a complaint. He even waved and smiled «good morning» at our neighbor when they came out.
When all was said and done and the car was purring nicely, I braced myself for the fee — my jaw literally dropped when he told me his extremely generous price.
Don’t waste money on a tow, don’t waste time sitting in a dirty waiting room at a mechanics, don’t bother with a nasty, growling doofus in a blue jumper — stay home, stay in your pajamas and call nick! He’s a good person and a fully competent, trustworthy mechanic and deserves all five stars and your business.

True to my previous review I had Nick come out and do my brakes on my van this morning! Once again this guy makes other mechanic and ships look like fools. He is quick, responsive and knows his, err stuff. My original quite was a really good price and seeing as he is a mobile mechanic it’s done at your house! Awesome! Well after he took it for a test drive he discovered my tires were bad on the van. In a matter of approximately an hour, I had my brakes (all four), alignment, balancing, and four brand new tires on the van and sitting in my driveway! All for about ¹⁄₃ of what Firestone or any of those other joints would have charged me.
Trust me when I tell you this, call Nick, he’s good, truthful, and just a nice guy. He will hook you up for sure… It seems to just be in his nature!

Saturday night my car breaks down on the freeway and the stress starts to build. Sunday morning my boyfriend looks up a mobile mechanic to save me the problem of finding a tow truck and we come across Mobile Mechanick.
I knew this was going to be a good experience from the first phone call. Nick gave me a straight up diagnosis over the phone, no messing around with «wellllll it might be this this or this but if you come in we can take a look». He let me know how much it would cost to get my alternator replaced (and he had one in stock!!) and that the earliest he could help me out would be early Tuesday morning. And I mean early, 6:30am! BUT that was perfect because it meant my car would be in working order in time for me to get to work.
He double checked the appt with me on Monday, and was even able to accommodate the fact that my parking spot is in an underground parking garage. He showed up on time, was very courteous, and immediately confirmed his initial diagnosis. He brought his tools out, tested the battery, removed the belt, removed the alternator, installed the new alternator, charged my battery (while he was doing all the other work), and then reset the belt and started my car. It was all done efficiently, cleanly, and thoroughly. He gave the car a good double check before he started it and showed me the voltage on my battery to show the new alternator was working.
The thing has a 1 year guarantee so if any problems come up during that time replacement and work is free. After that, I’ll have to pay for labor if it needs repairs. Nick was awesome, stuck to his original quoted price and gave me some of his business cards so I can pass on word about him to my friends, which I’ve already started to do.
I have had a hard time in the past finding honest mechanics to work with, and only a few have ever really stood out in my books, I’m adding Nick to that list.

If you have a problem with your car, call this mechanic first. He is reliable, honest, reasonable and cool. I thought I would need a new starter and have to tire my car to a shop, get a ride home, then back again another day to pick it up, etc. he showed up bright and early the next day and my car was running in thirty minutes.
I made the mistake of posting the above review on the wrong mechanic site, so now its on the RIGHT page. There is some shady guy on the internet trying to steal Nick’s business. He is capitalizing on Nick’s good reputation and using his videos and images to divert his business to other mechanics that are not him. Beware.

He just came back out today and helped me rectify my previous review along with a dying engine issue with my fiancée’s 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse. She left her car here after towing it to two mechanics in Los Angeles. One wanted to replace a $ 400 part and the other she paid $ 300 to fix all kinds of things that weren’t the culprit. Nick came out, opened the hood, whipped out a screwdriver (and maybe some magic pixie dust) and the car is fixed. Unreal. He’s coming back out later in the week to fix the brakes.

Nick totally came to my rescue on Sunday (2-​10-​2013). Within 45 minutes of contacting him he showed up to where my car was in Anaheim and did all 4 of my brakes for literally an eighth (yes, really an eighth) of what other places would charge. My car was completely disabled and the brakes were grinding metal to metal and in less than 1 hour I was up and running again! I figured I’d have to pay more for the convenience of having him come to me and for the speedy service but it was the opposite. What a pleasant surprise! I will never use another mechanic again.
