Just as described by others. Straightforward, no drama, efficient. When I first called Fernando he said he was busy and recommended someone else. I said I would wait for him until tomorrow. Then things changed. I needed him today called him again. He came by on time snaked the drain cleaned up after himself and left.

My boyfriend found OC Rooter on Unilocal (duh!). Our kitchen sink in the new house we purchased had a complete stoppage, and we wanted it fixed stat.
Ethan called for a service request at 6 am yesterday, and by 7:30 am Fernando called to schedule an appointment for 9am the same day. I was in shock. This was by no means an «emergency» service, so I was stoked we could be fit into his schedule so quickly.
Fernando arrived ahead of schedule, and resolved the issue within 15 – 20 minutes. He was professional, courteous, and efficient. It helps that his rates are extremely reasonable. Oh, and he offered a thirty day guarantee on his work.
This guy is fantastic… Definitely adding him to our maintenance contact list for any other plumbing issues that may arise. I highly recommend OC Rooter and Fernando for anyone looking for quick and reliable service!

My sister-​in-​law referred me to Fernando, because they had such a great experience when he helped them with a leak from the bathroom to the garage, other plumbers had come out and put holes in walls and never diagnosed the problem or fixed it. When he got to their house he gave them the price, completed the job and even though it cost more to fix the problem he did not charge them for it. When Fernando came to my house he gave me a quote for several issues I needed fixed and it was done that afternoon on the spot. He’s professional, knowledgeable, clean, and quick. He even threw in extra’s!!! Will refer everyone I know that has plumbing issues to call Fernando. Thanks Fernando for doing such a good job and great price, your the best!!!

I called Fernando late last night — around 1030pm, as my parent’s drains were backed up. With my father being ill, it was extremely important that the problem got fixed ASAP. He returned my call THAT NIGHT. Arranged to be at their house at noon — showed up EARLY (unheard of these days!!). Mom told him to do whatever he needed to do to fix the drains, which for some, would mean taking advantage of the customer. Not Fernando — he insisted on quoting her price before he began working. He fixed the problem quickly and could not have been any nicer. Would definitely recommend him for your plumbing needs!!!

Fernando was professional, on time and cleaned up anything he had done. He was in and hour in under 45 minutes. Upstairs bathroom drain was clogged with hair, shaving clippings and held together with hair gel. Fernando gave me an estimate verbally upon inspection, I agreed. He got to work and busted it within 15 minutes, 100% water flow now. I love the easy and hassle free experience. Fernando is my go to guy for rooter and plumbing now.

OC Rooter was prompt, professional and did great quality work. When I had a kitchen sink leak and backup I called the «local» Laguna Beach plumber. They refused to give me an estimate and when they showed up they wanted $ 250. I then found Fernando on Craigslist who’s well done add stated a flat fee of $ 75. He showed up on time and skillfully fixed the problem, including cutting and repairing a pipe. He stayed at his quoted estimate and the work was done fast and flawless. Do to my location, he had a small fuel surcharge which I was happy to pay. What a stand up gentleman, if I could give him 10 stars I would.

Excellent service — showed up early and was knowledgeable, confident and calm. Recommended small fixes I could do myself that other plumbers never had, and fixed the problem in less than half the time of the last plumber we had out. Reasonable prices. Will definitely be using Fernando again.

I had some leak problems on two separate occasions and called Fernando both times after he was refereed to me by a good friend of my. He was responsive and prompt each and every time. Extremely skilled, very professional, and up front about cost. Can’t ask for anymore. Highly recommended.

There’s a reason Fernando is busy… he listens, he diagnoses, and he gets the job done. As others have said… «No up’s and no drama.» He’s a family man, one-​man business, and understands that his reputation will follow him. And he didn’t charge me for looking over his shoulder! :-)
I’ve owned rental property in Los Angeles, and have used commercial plumbers. The one’s that stayed in my «book of reliable vendors» were just like OC Rooter and Fernando… honest, knowledgable, highly organized, and extremely fair in their billings. BTW… he answered his own phone. I don’t care for «franchises» or larger firms that use «answering services.» Fernando is very «hands-​on.»
Our kitchen sink, which I’ve cleared over the past few years, (I have my own power-​snakes), finally needed more than my own ¼″ x 50 foot power unit. And I honestly didn’t want to spend more time «under the sink.» I also wanted to re-​pipe as I’ve had chronic leaks that I should have been able to clear, but just never took the time to do it right. I started in Craig’s List… and for whatever reason, ended up calling Fernando last night, Sunday.
Fernando came the next morning at 9am, as promised. His truck was incredibly well organized, and from sharing my detailed history and recent attempts to clear the drain, he had a strong feeling the line needed to be power-​pressure cleaned. And he was right. He first rootered, then power blasted, then tested the line. After that he did the repairs I needed, and did a final QC test of the plumbing. His price was about what any larger multi-​truck plumbing operation would have charged just for the rooter service. And I highly doubt I’d ever have this level of access to the company owner.
Because I’ve done my own plumbing over the years, and work with contractors, I know when I’ve found a «Keeper…» Fernando is definitely a plumber you’ll want to keep in your own «book of favorite vendors.»

My bathtub drain got clogged. I spent several hours trying to unclog it myself to no avail. I decided to call Fernando after reading the positive reviews he received from others. What a great experience. Fernando is polite, prompt, professional, and he cleans up. He was able to unclog my tub in a few minutes. He even put a screen over my drain so this wouldn’t happen again. I will use him again if I ever need a plumber. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Fernando!

Yep, this guy (Fernando) is awesome. Honest, prompt, clean (like prior post) — he is excellent. He remembered he helped us before (which he did), but I lost his name and #. He had to remove 2 of our toilets and get to our mainline, which was clogged in 3 places (roots). He has a good list of trouble-​shooting on his post (site) — that was helpful… there it was — toilets and showers backing up. He said he could make it in 45 minutes and he was right (good thing, things were getting a little serious!). This time, I have his contact info and did this post to thank him. This is the kind of person you want /​and will keep his contact!

Fernando showed up within 30 minutes, cleared my drain for $ 75.00 (flat rate as advertized) and cleaned my shower before he left. WooHoo Love this guy!!! No drama, no up charges. My new go to plumber.
