OMG! Dessert Lounge

I can’t stress enough that the success of a really good frozen yogurt spot is variety… and not just switching out the Fruity Pebbles toppings with Cocoa Pebbles either! OMG Desserts has won me over with how much they change up their frozen yogurt flavors on the regular.
I walked in today and smiled to see that they have the tried and true staple flavors of Tart, Vanilla and Chocolate Custard… but there are some season appropriate curveballs such as a refreshing Watermelon, an indulgent Salted Caramel Cheesecake and very cool Pineapple Tart. And OMG, literally, they are very generous with their little sample cups, try all the flavors if you would like before you make a decision.
Lastly, it was a relief to see how nice and clean everything was! Nothing turns off an avid frozen yogurt fan more than to see all the toppings alllllll over the counter rather than inside the yogurt cup. If there could be one thing, and honestly, it hurts that I do ding a lot of my reviews for this, is that the parking situation can be inconvenient. I had to wait about 6 minutes to leave my parking spot because OMG Desserts is right next to a car wash that had a line of cars blocking nearly 3 spaces (mine, included) of OMG Desserts spaces. Gave me time to keep eating my yummy frozen yogurt at least, right? That silver lining keeps this place at 5 Stars for me :)

I lived across the street for my Disney College Program and my roommates and I would come here for a sweet treat after a long shift. They are open till 2 am. We met the owner who was so sweet and answered all our questions. The toppings were fresh and organized, a hard thing to find in a froyo place.

3 stars due to the not so ideal location filled with bad drivers and limited parking, but +1 star for good customer service and décor.
I really wanted to give 5 stars, but in all honesty, it was an average frozen yogurt shop experience. Ask for sample cups because some swirlies are kind of watery. The good news is because some flavors are supposed to be gelato, they do taste creamer than the same flavors at other places. Tart and taro are 2 of my staples, and they are among the best ones here!

After a nice burger dinner, yogurt sounds great. Stop by OMG! & boy, OMG! delicious it was. First and foremost, I am a total Coconut freak. Coconut ice cream, coconut water, coconut air fresheners for the car, coconut air sprays for the house, coconut lotions, and on and on.
I wish there’s such thing as coconut colognes. Anyway, with that being said, I think I just discovered my all time favorite coconut yogurt at OMG! It was smooth, soft, thick, most importantly, YUMMY! From the perfect smoothness to the perfect sweetness with real coconut pieces (holy cow)!
The customer service was exceptional from the minute you walked in, to the minute you walked out. The employee Omar gave us a tour because there were so much varieties to choose from.
They have Yogurts, Gelatos, Italian Ice, Sorbet, Custards, and Yogalito (mash up between Yogurts & Gelatos). In addition, jumbo Macarons, Taiyaki (Omar told me they’re fish shaped waffles), smoothies and much much more. I’m exhausted just by going through the tour lol.
The price was well set, what I had was under $ 5.00, and I left bloated and full.
The place was well decorated, bright and immaculate. Including the restroom, we will definitely be back very soon to try some of the other items.
Tips: They have 21 flavors and maybe over 50 toppings. I like how they utilize the middle hand bar as a 3^rd flavor from the two flavor mash up. 2016 Must try, if you haven’t had the opportunity.

Found this place from Unilocal.Maybe the high reviews got our expectations up but we were a tad bit disappointed. They had great customer service but the desserts were not bad but it was nothing special. It is just an average yogurt joint.

Very clean place which is most important and the yogurt is delish. Service is awesome too. Will be coming back when in the area again.

Unilocal led us to OMG! We were all wanting dessert after our disappointing sushi lunch. Found this place, and it turned our frowns upside down! 3 of us chose to get something from their self serve machines. The youngest chose macarons.
My wife and one of our nieces were very happy with their choices. Do not know which froyo flavors they picked or what toppings they added, but they were both very pleased! Our youngest niece loved the two macarons she chose (especially the vanilla flavor). She liked them so much that I bought more so the rest of us could try them. We all agreed that those were the best macarons that we have ever tried!
I had some froyo. After sampling a few flavors, I filled my container with Taro frozen yogurt and Vanilla frozen custard. No toppings for me! I chose to enjoy these two flavors all by themselves! Both flavors were the bomb! Best Taro froyo that I have ever eaten! I do not know if they rotate their flavors everyday, but I sure hope they keep those two flavors! I would be sorely disappointed if I walk in here and do not see them here.
Ambiance was terrific. Everything in the shop was clean from the machines to the toppings area to the dining area. There were some props available. The wife and kiddos had fun taking selfies wearing the various props! The employee was very nice and helpful.
Really wish that OMG Dessert Lounge was closer to our relative’s home. I would go out of my way to patronize this little shop. They are that good! Hopefully, they will offer more dessert options in the future. Hint hint to the owners if you are reading this.

Located across the street from the Anaheim Packing District, where the gas station is, OMG! Dessert Lounge lies. Upon entering, the lone cashier at the front asks if we’ve been there before. We said not and she gave a spiel of what was happening. I kinda don’t remember too much about it minus the fact that it looked and seemed a lot like Yogurtland.
So first off you get sample cups and you sample everything. They have custard tarts, they have froyo, gelato, and italian ice. I got the vanilla and chocolate tarts, along with candy cane froyo. Then on top of that I added a lot of other stuff: P Haha they seriously have a lot of different things in there. It’s a shame that I couldn’t get more since I had just had Joe’s Italian a couple hours ago. Psstt. this one was better. After the machine, there were the standard yogurtland toppings afterwards. They have macarons to sell as well, which is different from other places. Also– they have drinks too!
The flavors of the froyo and the custard were both really good. Not overheavy on (what I would assume to be the heavy cream?) but a good custard you can just down. I also had no complaints with any of the froyo here :)
It’s really bright in here, more so because we came here at 9pm. There are a couple of tables inside, and they have a few games and costumes you can wear as well. They’re not too clean and they’ve been used a couple times, but if you want games along with froyo, you can get it here!

OMG! Is located on the corner of Anaheim and Broadway right next to the Arco station and the Carwash. I immediately admired the photo opt area with cool props and the fact that this place is very clean. I was greeted with a smile as soon as I walked in and offered a sample cup/​cups. I sampled every option! My favorite is the Tropical island delight. TID is a mixture of coconut and taro and it was so delicious. I loved the tiny flakes in the coconut. I was tempted to load up the toppings however I wanted to taste the full flavor of my dessert. OMG offers soft serve 21 flavors, 14 with 7 mixtures. My second favorite is the strawberry shortcake a must try. They also have tea’s, French macaroons and Frappé (I bought a few of the mason jar Frappé mix for my holiday baskets they were a hit!). We also tried a couple of their French macaroons they very light and tasty. This was an excellent dessert stop. Thank you OMG! Your food and service earn a 5 star in my book!

Such a highkey place in a lowkey area. I was so confused to find it in the same plaza as a gas station but its bright storefront was quite inviting. I walked in and felt overwhelmed with the endless options they had. Ice cream sandwiches… gelato/yogurt…crepes…smoothies…macarons…etc.
Luckily the friendly worker gave me sample cups and walked me over to the gelato/​yogurt. I’m usually not a yogurt person but since I love gelato, I gave the flavors a try. They were all delicious and I ended up mixing coffee cookies n cream with pumpkin roll. The coffee cookies n cream was a unique flavor, with a hint of coffee and a hint of cookies n cream. The texture was uniform and there were no cookie chunks. The pumpkin roll was amazing (a bit biased since I’m a pumpkin lover) and I imagine it’s seasonal so hurry and get your hands on it!
I topped it off with my usual mochi and cheesecake bits. I must say though the mochi bits were a bit hard and I prefer non colored ones-​wish they had those. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in the area-​prefer this over all the dessert places in packing district.

Don’t fret over that unintelligible and unethical one-​star review and self-​promotion by a competitor; obviously that business owner feels threatened. Yours is a truly fantastic business in every respect.
The interior of your establishment is cheery and fun. You have a unique variety of ever-​changing gelato and frozen yogurt flavors to choose from. Taro, pumpkin, pineapple… but on my visit I decided to go with a sweet mix of flavors: crème brûlée, vanilla, jamoca and cookies & cream. Delicious flavor and texture! You have a great variety of toppings and all the fruits looked so fresh. Your prices are very reasonable.
The OMG! owner seemed very attentive to the cleanliness of the store. When some little girls who were sitting at a table asked their mom for some water, the owner overheard and had water out to them in seconds. I spoke with her before I left and she sincerely cares about her customers and is always looking for new flavors and products to offer.

My bf and I were planning to head to Downtown Disney that day so we decided to try a frozen yogurt place around the area. This place has incredibly high ratings with a 5 star average.
OMG! Dessert Lounge is a dessert place that has custard, frozen yogurt, italian ice, gelato, sorbet, and macarons. They have a limited selection of each dessert previously mentioned. This place is located in between a car wash and an AM/​PM which is totally not where I would expect a desserts place like this.
We were greeted immediately upon entry and asked if it was our first time. The server from behind the counter said that she was going to help us out and that we were free to try any samples. She walked from behind the counter out to the self serve machines and explained to us which ones were the custard, frozen yogurt, italian ice, and gelato. That flew over my head the first time she explained so I had to ask again because all of it was a bit overwhelming. The frozen yogurt wasn’t exactly labeled and you had to look for some weird symbols. Anyway, we did try a few samples and we thought they were good.
There were 21 self-​serve flavors including vanilla custard, pink lemonade shake, pink lemonade sorbet, pistachio dulce de leche, chocolate pistachio, chocolate custard, jamocha, cookies and cream coffee, cookie and cream, california tart, strawberry shortcake, strawberry gelato, tahitian vanilla, watermelon creamsicle, watermelon sorbet, toasted coconut, taro shake, taro, pineapple italian ice, and horchata.
I ended up getting cookies and cream frozen yogurt and vanilla custard. The cookies and cream seriously tasted like oreo cookies in ice cream form which I thought was pretty good. The vanilla custard was quite rich in vanilla. Both were quite thick in consistency and it took forever for it to melt which was good.
My bf had the Pink Lemonade Sorbet and Pink Lemonade Shake. He said the Pink Lemonade Shake tasted like a weird sweet and sour combination and the Pink Lemonade Sorbet tasted like frozen pink lemonade. He preferred the Pink Lemonade Sorbet.
The interior is bright and festive, almost like a Yogurtland from the inside. However, there’s some random decorations that make it standout. There’s a small seating area around four tables total but the area is rather spacious. Music included some ugly hip hop, Jesse McCartney, Meghan Trainor, and Maroon 5. It was a rather interesting mix.
The service was great! The server seriously walked us through everything and was very friendly and quite interactive. Any time she had us try a sample, she would ask how it was. If we had any more questions, she told us she’d be happy to help.
Overall, what I tried didn’t have me scream OMG! And the selection wasn’t exactly OMG! But the flavors were pretty good combined with fantastic service. Will be back to try more flavors!

OMG Dessert Lounge is located on the corner of Anaheim Blvd and Broadway in the same plaza as Arco! If you see the bright pink OMG! you are in the right place. This place is really cute on the inside as well. The space is a good size with a lot of tables and chairs to sit down and really enjoy the desserts.
This is one of my favorite places to take my kid to. She loves desserts. They have a variety of frozen yogurt flavors here and it gives her a lot of options. Not to mention the toppings! You can put on all sorts of toppings from fruits to nuts to sprinkles to syrups. They keep their toppings very organized and clean.
My personal recommendation is the taro and the horchata. They go great together!
Overall they have a great selection of frozen yogurt and it is a very family friendly setting. The workers are nice and diligent with keeping the place tidy. This keeps me coming back!

I first heard about OMG Dessert Lounge on Yahoo’s top ice cream shops in America article. Since I don’t live too far, I checked it out. The staff was very helpful in giving my friends and I all the details about their desserts and what goes well together. I was quite intrigued by how they have great combinations for their soft serve/​frozen yogurt/​gelato offerings. Watermelon creamsicle to horchata mixed with chocolate and many more. I got myself an original tart frozen yogurt with horchata soft serve gelato on the side. I topped it with watermelon and other toppings. It was very good and not too expensive either.
So the shop closes at 10pm and tons of people and I mean tons of people started coming by 10 minutes or even 5 minutes before the shop closes and when the clock struck 10pm, the staff allowed everyone to stay until they finished their desserts. I loved how the staff didn’t kick anyone out at all. Loved how their was also a photo booth type setup as well in the store where you can pose with your creation. Great staff and great desserts too!

3.5 stars for this self-​serve frozen yogurt, custard, gelato, italian ice, sorbet spot! it may look like just another yogurtland when you walk in BUT the different handles actually offer all of the above mentioned frozen treats (and you can actually notice the textural differences among them all!)
they let you sample before you swirl but i wasn’t a huge fan of any one flavor in particular and yes they offer the typical fruit and candy toppings to dress your creation
—chocolate custard: probably my favorite of the ones i tried
—pineapple italian ice: very refreshing and went well with the cake batter gelato
—pistachio gelato: didn’t really taste like pistachios to be honest
not craving self serve style? get an ice cream sammie, whoopie pie, or smoothie!
NOTE: it’s randomly located in the same building as a gas station, next to the car wash shop!

Wow they have the best frozen yogurt selection I have ever seen! Yogurt land has nothing on this place!
They also have macaroons and ice cream sandwiches. The ice cream sandwich flavors are only vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. I had one and it was pretty good. I hope they add more flavors though.
They have flavors like coconut taro, pineapple upside down cake, watermelon creamsicle and Java cookies and cream.
It’s also clean and the service is excellent. I don’t think I’ll ever want to go to another frozen yogurt place again!

They have three different types of vanillas, chocolate, coffee, birthday cake, pineapple, strawberry, cookies n cream, and all sorts of flavors. Their employees are so sweet!

OMG. Wow!!! What a great place. The Jamocha is amazing if you are a coffee lover. Excellent service and quality yogurt.

Ice cream for dinner, why not. Thats what we did while waiting for our takeout a few doors. And it was cold and creamy, melting in my mouth on a warm Spring night.
Located off Anaheim Blvd across from the Packing House in a little strip mall sharing their lot with a few other food places.
First off, all those Unilocalers are right this time. For the first time we can all unite on this one. This place scores a big A plus. Lots of choices to break any diet. Lots of happiness happening here.
Upon entering we were warmly greeted and offered sample cups and a quick tour of the shop. Then we were left to play.
So Im the wierd one, the vanilla sort of girl, nice and plain with zero toppings. Im also indecisive and can never pick 1 flavor. So it was sort of a party in my bowl type of night and I tried 5 different flavors and tried not to let them touch each other in my bed, I mean bowl. Im not sure what I liked best, but the strawberry lemonade ice was pretty good. The coffee, butter pecan and PB were all equally good.
The hubsters said his concoction was pretty good, which means hes a fan. He loaded his bowl with lots of fudge like oooze and nuts.

With tons of creative flavors (over 20) and like a zillion toppings you can’t go wrong here. So if you like Fro-​Yo, soft swirl custard, gelato, ice cream, and Italian ice or cake pops, whoopie pies, macarons or fudge then this is your huckleberry!

Great spot to get some quickie desert /​sweet factor on for your mug. Diet? Sure you can ruin a desert with that 4 letter word but OMG lets you slide on the calories and into the flavor box. Why waste your time stressing over calories when you can indulge in knee deep complex flavor!
