Service was quick. Portion size was great. The sushi tasted fresh and it had a family feel. Nice hole in the wall sushi place near Disneyland.

Fast sushi with sushi bar quality. Great friendly service. Quality sushi, tasty rolls, fresh ingredients. Some of the rolls were rushed and the rice bowls have a little too much futechake.

Delish!!! Love this place! So close to home. You must have the ice green tea with your sushi. And the deep fried Oreo and green tea ice cream are to die for.

My review is based on the eel bowl take out. The eel was OK but the rice was a bit hard and probably need a few more minutes. I was feeling a bit under the weather I didn’t try their chirashi bowl. My friends all like it very much. I’ll have to try that next time and update my review later.

I really wanted to be wowed by this place… The prices were right, and you get a lot of food for your money… but 90% of their rolls are krabmeat… meh! I do recommend giving them a chance though. The jalapeño poppers, spicy tuna and chips, and spicy garlic edamame were the highlights of our dinner. They are very friendly and attentive. This is not upscale by any means… but it’s good, it’s filling, and it’s inexpensive. I’m deducting a star only because the bathroom a bit gross. Kinda reminds me of a gas station toilet… seriously… if you don’t need to don’t go in there… don’t

Food was okay– great piece of yellowtail, but the tuna was way sub-par. The rolls were too big to fit in your mouth; which is never a huge complaint except when the fish is eh, then it just isn’t the best– very messy. Good service. The biggest complaint was the bathroom– it was seriously disgusting. If I had gone before I ate I might not have eaten there simply because I don’t know how you have clean hands after that bathroom– the floor looked like it hadn’t been washed in a week(at least). Pee in front of the toilet… Just awful. Sorry…wanted to like it…

I booked marked this place after seeing all the reviews, but can’t «love» it like everyone else says. Ordered to go –2 crunch rolls and 1 udon noodles. The crunch roll sauce was too sweet, I shouldn’t have poured it over. Now the udon –it was so bland like water & udon noodles. We asked for no veggies, since that’s how we always order udon noddles at other places. My husband called and told them that it was plain, no taste. According to the chef, the udon will not have any flavor because there is no veggies. They asked us if we would be able to bring it back. So, since we are in the area(my husband works close by) I decided to swing back. They basically said, they’ll make it the same way they made it the first time. I decided, that they make it their«normal» way, since it’s their«recommendation» of why there’s no taste the first time. Well, I finally got the«regular» udon with noodles, broth, and cabbage! No tempura flakes, no, tempura veggies but raw cabbage with udon noddles. Yea, I definitely will not be returning. Our family loves, I mean are foodies, and I was born & raised in Hawaii where Japanese food is a staple –now for this kind of udon? That was the most terrible udon I’ve ever had! I just couldn’t bring myself to eat udon noodles with cabbage, that was bland. I will have to un-bookmark this place.

At this point, my favorite sushi restaurant. Great quality fish and great flavor pairings with their rolls(Must they the Orange Roll, very clean!) Additionally, their seared fish and other rolls with cooked fish are fantastic, where the fish is not overcooked, which has been the trend at many other sushi restaurants. To put this in perspective, I would drive from San Diego up to Anaheim for sushi. THAT good.

Love love love!!! This place Always amazing service The waitress are so friendly and kind and quick with their service. For a small but calming atmosphere I felt completely welcomed and at ease while eating here and my money was well spent. Amazing time here and I look forward eating here very soon!

Orange Roll has to be one of my favorite sushi joints. I have been to other locations and this one is my favorite. On the last visit my friend and I showed up around 6 pm, the place was crowded but we were seated within 5 minutes It looked like wait times got longer after we arrived. The service is good, the waiters /waitresses are friendly and it looks like they changed up their menu a bit since the last time I was there. The roll sizes are generous for the specialty rolls and the regular rolls are typically sized. My friend and I usually find ourselves ordering 1 specialty roll each and one regular roll and that’s more than enough for us. On occasion we get the deep fried oreos with ice cream, these are gooood, make sure you save room for them.

You know when you go into most casual Sushi Bars and have finished your meal, your first thought most likely will be «Meh… I got what I paid for». WELL, NOTHERE. :D I’m really still amazed that they can keep their prices so diner friendly with the quality of soosh that they serve here. Some of my faves off the menu: –Bento Boxes(About $ 10 each!) –Bowls –Sushi Rolls(ALLOFTHEM, really!) Not only are any of those options massive in portions but the quality of the seafood is top notch too! Have I mentioned how FRESHHHH the sushi is here? Not into the non-cooked so much??? It’s okay — there are a ton of other options on their never ending menu that I’m sure will tickle anyone’s fancy. Lastly, what’s with me holding back on the last star??? Gah… the Parking and the Seating Time are such a bummer. It’s hard to find a spot and sometimes, with wait times as close to an hour on busy nights, I’d rather opt to grab my order to go. *** Sigh *** Open a 3rd and 4th location, Orange Roll!

While I’ve been to Japan and have had some of the best sushi in the world(nothing compares), Orange Roll & Sushi offers quality sushi at a great price. Take their chirashi bowl for example. Large slices of fresh sashimi on top of delicious rice mixed with nori and sesame seeds; the rice was so good, I cleaned my bowl. Great price and quality. Recommend.

The price is reasonable and you get a large amount of fish in each roll. When I first arrived at the restaurant, I was a little confused at the arrangement. The set up made it look like it was an «order at the counter» type of deal, but later a waitress came out and asked us to pick any table. My family and I ordered the tokyo spring, the orange roll, and the baja crunch. All of these were pretty decent rolls, it’s what you expect from a sushi joint. However, their quality is definitely top notch. Imagine the quality you get from an AYCE sushi restaurant. My favorite of the three rolls is the tokyo spring. The pieces of fish inside the roll are enormous and the sweet soy sauce at the bottom is pretty bomb. I definitely recommend this roll if you’re a salmon lover. The service is good, but I suggest coming before 630pm, because that is when the crowd rushes in. This spot is good, but not enough to wait.

Small location with quality food at a good price. Parking is limited, service was OK and the selection is large. Great place for casual sushi if you don’t want to break the back. It’s located on Anaheim and Broadway next to the gas station. Their sushi menu is large and no AYCE, all a la carte. I order deep fried tempura rolls which were at least 8 pieces. Took a little bit of time but was hot and delicious. There are a few rolls that have fried onion on top. I really disliked the onion and think you should skip it. It’s soggy and oily and doesn’t taste good. Staff was ok… Had to ask for refills but they were nice. The seating is so limited inside that you feel bad if you don’t eat and leave right away. People who are waiting end up waiting within a few feet of where you’re sitting so it gets real awks real quick. Other than that I loved this place and will come back for sure for quick cheap quality sushi.

I think that this place is pretty good. The rolls they have are a bit different which is a good thing. It doesn’t make you feel like a typical sushi place, where if you been to one sushi place you been to them all. The variety is good. The cons. The parking is a huge issue if you go during lunch time or during a weekend good luck trying to find parking. The actual restaurant is pretty compact so not a lot of people fit inside, so if you come during a busy time, good luck trying to find a table. Being that it is a small location, all the tables are at a close proximity. From the times that ive been there, they don’t really staff too many servers, which is understandable, but when it does get busy its hard sometimes to flag them down and get that intimate experience. The ramen is pretty good as are their specialty sushi rolls. The decorations inside are colorful and inviting, while allowing sunlight to come in. This is a great location for me to come and get some quick lunch because I work around the corner. I do stress the fact that the parking is awful usually, sharing a parkinglot with 2 other restaurants, a car wash, and a gas station, along with having the Packing District, Anaheim Brewery, and Umami right infront. This place is a little more expensive then the usual roll, but everything evens out at the end, because the ramen is priced at a cheaper price. Overall good place to eat.

{More like 3.5 but they gave my sister’s fiancé dirty water so rounding it down, lol} We went here for lunch since we had some time to kill before Disneyland! WEORDERED ____________________ — Rainbow Roll — Huge size… get it if you like variety! — Orange Roll — If you’re a fan of salmon then you’ll like this place. A lot of their chef special had salmon in it and this Orange Roll wasn’t too bad! — Volcano — This one had imitation crab meat and baked salmon on top. Not bad! — Crispy Fish! — Probably my favorite from here because of the crunchiness, once again it is salmon roll! — Terriyaki Bowl — My little niece liked this so I’d recommend this if you want to stay away from the sushi! — Tempura Bowl — Not bad for the price! Overall, their menu is mostly salmon! This will be a plus if you like sushi spots that serves BIG rolls! But if you like variety like I do, you probably won’t enjoy it as much… Nonetheless, this is a 3 star spot for a quick bite of sushi!

Reco’d by Darrell at the Courtyard Hotel. Bustling store front with filled tables and open kitchen. Promptly greeted and handed an extensive menu. Well i came for sushi so let’s do it. Started with Jasmine tea. Nice cup and came hot. 4 different teas to chose from. Next up cucumber salad. Loved the slices. The blond n black toasted sesame seeds and yummy sauce. Next up couple nigiri sushi. Salmon and Yellow Tail. Wow! Great meaty cuts and nice size. Super fresh! Next up Toyko spring roll. Tuna, Salmon, shrimp, imt crab meat. Wrapped in soy and cucumber. Pretty presentation. Not wild about imitation crab but it didn’t matter. The overall taste was fab! I thought I could eat more but I was stuffed! Service good! Friendly. One blip not having soy sauce at table. Nice ginger and wasabi. The amazing thing was the price. $ 24.03. No alcohol but that’s fine. Definitely will come back next month!
