One of my favorite comic book stores. The staff is always helpful and give you space to check out their store. The store is amazingly big also very organized and clean. They carry a little bit of everything comics, video games, clothes and so on. They have plenty of parking so you don’t have to worry about space. Wednesday is when they get have new comics I believe so if you’re looking for some new read that can be your middle of the week assignment. They also have signing sometimes that’s always fun.

After going to two comic book stores in Fullerton I ended up here and finally purchased my comic. DC Rebirth was sold out at the the two comic book stores in Fullerton and of course Phat Collectables had plenty. Due to the location, I will default to the the local store, but if they let me down again I’ll have to make this my comic store. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The layout is also great and the information advertised around the store is helpful.

Came in for free comic book day. & I just have to say, the staff here, are absolutely amazing. Friendly & polite. Very helpful. This is definitely our new comic stop.

Don’t make a mistake of thinking that this is a comic book store. There are many other kind establishments out there that have good deals and great collections of comics. If you are into comics, this is really not your store. This store does have a decent collection of comics but what it specializes in are action figures.
Do you like those hard-​to-​find action figures? These guys have them from cheap stuff (Funko Pop!) to expensive types (Play Art Kai). They have obscure stuff that you have to be a die-​hard fan to like. I have compared prices to what you can find on eBay and they are very competitive.
There is another store in La Habra, which is a little smaller.

Good stuff here and always a great experience; however, just purchased a figure for 24.99 and as I was about to walk out of the store noticed another figure for 44.99 that I would have much rather purchased as a gift. So again I was JUST walking out of the store when I noticed this. I headed back to the register and asked the guy if I could exchange and pay the difference and he told me that all sales were final. What the fu**? I literally just bought this thing and you’re not willing to take $ 20 more? Ridiculous and more the reason to order online anyway.

Awesome! My local LCS-​treats me very well! The staff is very friendly and they carry a wide variety of collectibles. There are no vintage comics there, but if that’s what you’re looking for I would hit one of the major comic shows in the area. The staff is very knowledgable and have to demonstrate knowledge of the genre before being hired. It’s huge-​not a whole in the wall comic shop either.

The place was great for it was well organized, welcoming, and had various videos playing in the store such as The movie Iron Man and Cartoon show Spider-​Man. The prices are decent and can be reasonable compared to other stores such as used figures starting at $ 10 or Animé figures starting at $ 40.
Before I continue, if you are «looking» for something in particular then «CALL FIRST» before going there. They have excellent customer service.

There are various comics from different series that you can find that is well packaged Ranging from new to old.

This place is huge. The guy found exactly what he was looking for and I enjoyed my time wandering around. Staff is friendly and knowledgable, too. Check ‘em out!

So as we came over to the comic book place we saw some vintage cars in the parking lot. Which was really cool and made me feel like there was some good collection and collectibles to be seen. Once we walked in it was clear that there was a lot of collectibles and toys tons and tons of accessories from the early days when I was a child, a lot of cool things. The comic book selection was pretty average, the way they displayed the high-​value comic books in top loaders was very impressive. One thing to note, the comic books are not in order there are tabs but the comic books are scattered within the tabs so one comic book issue may be in the back for us is another issue that should be in the back is in the front. The staff is very friendly and very welcoming when you ask them for questions, probably one of the best I’ve experienced in the Southern California area, and I’ve been to a lot of comic book stores. The place is pretty impressive although they do not hold variant comic books that’s totally fine a lot of comic book places do the same. I had to knock the star down because of the fact that the comic books were out of order but it was a strong four-​star was really close to being a five star review had the comic books been in a particular order. But I will say nonetheless that I will come back most definitely!

I live in Palm Springs where comics and collectibles are non existent. This store was definitely worth the drive. Although under construction, everything was spaced out and easy to find. Great selection, organized comics, and the two gentlemen behind the counter were very friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to coming back and checking out the other stores as the dudes recommended.

This store is garbage! Zero customer service! I have a pull list and these guys pull books from my list? I ask what happened and I get an idiot response, recently called for a favor to get info on a book for a prize at Comic Con and the dude I talked to responds with I don’t have time for this and tells me «Go f$*k yourself»!!! I kindly responded with a F $*k You dude! Stay away take your hard earned money somewhere else where they appreciate your business. Everyone at Phat Collectibles can eat a phat veiny c*$k!!! Except for Jacob you’re cool dude!

Biggest selection of comic books, action figures and statues in Southern California. They always have some comic related cartoon or movie on the flat screens throughout the store. Friendly staff! Only request is to try to get more older action figures in stock. Seemed like they have been sitting most of the same product for a year now.

What a let down. Zero customer service. Every time I asked for assistance I was met with the answer, «No.» or «Look over there.» Won’t be coming back.

This place is tight. I walked in here out of curiosity. I got to say, this place has a good assortment of toys for all ages. My personal favorite was Voltron. I am not into comic books but this place has loads. Perfect place if your looking for hard to find collectable toys or if you want to take a trip on memory lane and reminisce about your childhood.

I was visiting L.A. with the GF and heading to Disneyland. Got lost and saw this place. The comic nut in me had to stop.
Huge store. Lots of good stuff and wished I had more time to browse, but I made do with the little time I had. Found a comic I already had, but I had damaged it, so I figured I’d buy another. Bought it. The one I bought had a bit of damage to it so I asked to exchange and they said sure. Awesome. This made me want to spend even more money, but we were there for Disneyland and it was already nearing noon.
Again, huge selection of great stuff. Excellent customer service. Very friendly and understanding. That’s what you look for in a collectible show.

I came here to buy Pokemon Emerald for game boy advance, but I also really enjoyed walking around the store. So many action figures, collectibles, old video games, and comics.
The employees were very friendly and helpful. They also ensured that if the cartridge I purchased didn’t work, that I could come return it. Next time I’m looking for an old video game, I will look here first.

This location is my favorite in the chain. It’s not only bigger than the others, they have a great selection of action figures, collectibles and a variety of video games for the choosing. If you still have your old systems, they have games that will work. Get nostalgic.
One of the main reasons I like this particular store is their large amount of horror action figures. The packages are always in great condition, the items are reasonably priced and you never know what is going to hit the shelves. Because they’re always getting new things, it forces me to stop in on the regular to see what might pop up.
Yes, I could buy a lot of this stuff on Amazon or EBay, but I have a good time gawking before buying. A lot of my purchases are splurges and I usually never plan on coming home with a bag of stuff, it just ends up working that way. Because they are competitive with prices, they end up being about the same as the online retailers, but you actually get to see what your spending money on before forking over the cash.
The people that work here are super cool and will shoot the breeze with you and make recommendations on whatever you might want or need.

In the world of comic book stores this is one of the better ones in Southern California. This is the type of store others should strive to become.
The management /​staff first off are friendly and gracious, so that’s a lot of the curbside appeal to running a good business. True service with a smile.
The selection is large, blending in offering a lot of comic books… current new releases, back issues, valuable bronze /​silver age, variant and rarities along with deep discounted $ 0.50 bin books (and I went on a day they had a 75% back issue sale too!). The older back issues for those who collect gold and silver age isn’t as robust, but books from the 1990’s to present seem plentiful.
Beyond comic books, they do play host to celebrity guests every now and then, which they promote on their website. The day I went, they had superstar artist, Ale Garza appearing for signing and sketching at the store.
The store has a huge selection of action figures and statues along with other stuff worth checking out if you’re into that, offering nearly «something for everyone» of all ages, genders and interests who generally like pop culture collectibles, i.e. nerd novelties and geek chic.
The layout is much better than most stores which often feel congested and cluttered. This is well organized and nicely presented, so it is almost aesthetic like a museum in it’s presentation of their merchandise.
Parking is easy, it’s located in a large complex with plenty of outside parking adjacent to the storefront.

WOW! What a selection of toys, action figures, animé, buttons, nostalgic video games and much much more. My mind was truly blown when I stepped inside into what looks like a huge comic store but is really so much more. The sheer amount of comics and graphic novels available here is out of this world. Turn the corner and action figures and comic busts and statues galore line the inside cases. Video games ranging from old school NES to Game Boy to Playstation 2 and X-​Box. I definitely spent a cool half hour just sucking in the awesome that is this store. Unfortunately my cash is a bit tight so I was unable to purchase anything this go around but I saw several statues and busts that have my name on them in the hopefully not too distant future. This is a dream store for anyone in love with comics, animé, action figures etc…
I will be back soon and keep up the awesome work with this store. A real gem in a city lacking stores of this nature.
