Rancho Del Rio Tack & Feed Store

I looked at this place for horse boarding. The facility is nice. We walked into the office and there were 4 people sitting in there not one of them turned to look at us. I said hello and they had an attitude like I was intruding. Unfortunately this facility is backed up to the freeway and the exhaust fumes are overwhelming. I have to think that this is very unhealthy for the horses to be worked in this air. All in all, not a place I would spend my extra time.

On a hot day, any cool drink and snack makes this place the best. Friendly and «real.»

Had both my daughters Bday party there and I was blown away by all the help provided! Everyone was awesome, helpful, and had so much patience. I had over 100 people and everyone kept mentioning how all the employees were amazing! The venue is absolutely perfect! The price is great too ;)

Terri has passed away since the last time I reviewed this place (best horse woman ever).
Riley is still around, and she still helps me with my horse when I ask her too. Salud (maintenance) is still around too, and he keeps an eye out for my horse when I’m not there.
Everyone around is still really nice, and I’m still happy here!

My kids were signed up for their Buckaroo Time summer camp through the city of Anaheim. We were a less than 10 minutes late to our first day coming from another camp also from the city. When we arrived, this very curt lady said since we’re late, the group (only 3 other kids all siblings turned out) had left on a tour so my kids can just hang out and feed the animals with her. She asked me to leave but i decided to stay until my kids join their class. Then she proceeded to have my kids pull hoses and turned the water on for her while she washed the chicken coop. At one point in time, she was «nice» enough to «teach» my kids when ones are the chichen and which one is the turkey. (My kids are 3^rd and 4^th graders!) She again scolded us for being late, but this time, she continued to tell us that the group won’t return for another 45 minutes! I paid $ 120 each kid for the 6-​total hours of camp and I didn’t expect paying this much $$ to have my kids pull hoses for her. When I asked to take the kids myself to find the group, she pointed to the stables that are 10 seconds (by strolling!) away!!! By this time, it was already 40 minutes into class time!!! I have never written negative reviews but I am soooo furious this time!!! We will never come back here again!!!

It is really just a joy to walk around and speak to the folks that have horses stabled here. They are so friendly and down to earth. I have learned so much just by walking around and speaking with everyone.
I have been taking my daughter to this stable for close to a year for lessons. (Fun with Horses,
) with Sophie and she counts down the days till she can go back.
They offer birthday parties and group lessons.
The only negative is the lack of trails.
This place has horses for the advanced and beginner…
So go on and ride…
