It is hard to find a company that is dedicated to please these days, and the way this company is focused on their customer’s satisfaction can not be beat.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! From the first contact with Ed, the sales representative, to the details in terms of the contract, and the top notch installation team which for me consisted of Cort, andTyler (Surreal), electrician Jason and painter Jose, all went absolutely perfectly!
Ed and Surreal were very flexible as we changed from wired to wireless, and they even volunteered (without my asking) to decrease the final invoice due to less labor and materials needed… totally professional and trustworthy to the say the very least! As this was a two day project, the team 100% cleaned up in between the two days, and it looked better when they clean up then when they started. remarkable! I had an issue, technical, after install and they immediately came out to fix.

Matt and his team are absolutely amazing. We had our system built by another company. It had so many problems and Matt and his team were able to come in and revise the system so that it worked better. Anytime we have an issue, they are available to fix it, even if it’s something small. Very professional and a nice group to work with. I can’t wait til be build a whole new system from ground up with them in our new house (once we buy one shortly). I highly recommend using them for your home theater needs!

We’ve been working with Surreal Systems at our house for a couple of years now as we roll out Control4 home automation and we’re glad that we’re working with Matt and his team. We were first introduced to Matt when we took the house down to studs with a major remodel.
Projects we’ve had Surreal Systems do:
— Install an equipment closet where phone/​sat/​router comes in.
— Install a media server closet for automation equipment.
— Installation of Cat6/​phone/​AV structured cabling throughout the whole house.
— Installation of the main Control4 system and doorbell intercom system.
— Installation of whole house audio, integrating Sonos and Control4.
Matt is outstanding at gathering requirements to propose a solution that meets the customer’s needs and doesn’t oversell solutions. I’m a tech fanatic and there’s been several times he has reined me in to keep things cost effective!
Matt’s staff is professional and courteous, especially Amos Cook. They show up on time, perform to the Statement of Work and leave the work area cleaner than when they arrived.
Finally, it’s worth sharing that Matt does not skimp on materials. We are planning to install surveillance systems in the future; Matt immediately mentioned that he had already run extra wires to support future capabilities (without my knowledge): the wire is inexpensive and it was easier to plan in advance while our drywall was out.

It started with a consultation where Matt learned our family’s needs, and every one was addressed in our final project.

These guys really know their business and as others may have stated, the customer service was great. Our primary installer and instructor was Amos, and he definitely spends a lot of time with you, teaching you how to use the system as well as cusotmizing it further to make all those last minute tweaks that you never thought of needing before.
I would reommend them to anyone looking to set up a home theater the right way.
PS – We also used, at Matt’s recommendation, Greg Lizzotte desgins for our home theater cabinetry. Greg also was excellent and works so well with Matt in terms of creating a product that meshes very well with all of the equipment.

Where to begin… Matt and team were incredible!!! Matt spent the time to listen to what we were looking for and designed a perfect system for us that surpassed our expectations AND came in UNDER budget. My Dad bought a new house and used Surreal Systems for installing the surround sound, tv, universal remote (which is awesome), etc… They did such an amazing job. Everything works seamlessly, it looks great, and they made it easy to use. The actual system itself is pretty mind-​blowing. All of that aside — the staff is knowledgeable and friendly; the owner, Matt, is just an amazing guy. I highly recommend them, and really, their name says it all… You won’t be disappointed.

Not only are they extremely professional, but they are extremely knowledgeable about everything audio/​visual and tech related. I find their team to be well versed on the latest and greatest offerings and know the scope of a job from start to finish. From choosing the right systems, to surround sound and even synching up my computer hard drives, etc… I truly can’t recommend this company enough! I switched to Surreal after a bad experience with another provider. What a difference! When Matt provides me with a plan, I can trust that it would be executed well and I won’t have to second guess if things are going to work right. Matt has put in our family entertainment system, projector, lights, landscape lights control, garage control, intercom, Sonos, replaced WIFI system, shades, pool control, security, and more. He’s very honest in providing feedback to what works and doesn’t. Matt is very responsive and his team works hard to deliver professional result. My background is in technology so it takes a lot for me to be impressed with technology yet Matt and crew always surpasses my expectations. Matt, Amos and Cort finished the installation yesterday in our California house and I cannot seem to turn it off it sounds so great. And it is so easy to use, it is amazing.
