The Owner Dean Dinh will make all kinds of promises but not deliver. Any installation will take forever as no one wants to work with him because they can’t get paid. You will be promised installation will happen on a specific day & after taking the day off from work, no one will show. This has happened to us four times on a very small job.
I ordered & paid in full for bathroom cabinets & countertops on May 11, 2015. It is now August 11^th & the job is still not complete. The installer was to be here yesterday, no show. Now today he calls & says we need to speak to Dean. I’m sure it’s because he can’t get paid. So 4 calls into Dean & no surprise he doesn’t repond.

HORRIBLE!!! Dean Dinh is now operating his business as All Home Design. They claim to have hired two people to «fix the shenanigans,» but it’s not working so far. I am not stopping until I get my refund for a vanity I returned. It came with missing pieces and damage. Instead of following a simple replacement process, they gave me the run around. I was more than accommodating, and yet I was treated in such a rude and unprofessional manner. When I got upset for being treated so rudely, Dean Dinh yelled at me and continued to make the problems he has with his vendor my problems. Also beware of Group Expo International, Golden Stone and Tile, and 6D Cabinets. Any business involving Dean Dinh is not worth your time!

This guy is a jerk!!! He did not follow thru on his promise. Don’t do business with him!!! He has a company under a new name 6D cabinets and floors. Stay away at all costs.

This man is a crook!!! He performed the kitchen remodeling for my mom… It started off the way he said it would be remodeled, but the work was ultimately left unfinished. He took the credit card information my mom gave him to pay for the supplies and remodeling work and secretly made his own purchases on it. He basically committed credit card fraud and we’ve been trying to pin him down for over a year! Police and wtc have been no help, basically saying we are on our own if we want to get the money back. I can’t believe he’s still in business! Ridiculous!

I normally never get stung this bad. I wish I had read the reviews before dealing with this psychopath. Sales person was very helpful and made sure they had what I was looking for before I purchased because this crook does not have a merchant account to take Visa or AE and I am sure for a good reason. It was cash or check only which makes me uneasy to begin with because you have no recourse if things go south which they did.
I didn’t lose as much as some of the others but this guy should be in jail. I will work with the contractors board, BBB, small claims and plan to visit with a detective with the Anaheim Police Department. People like this should not be allowed to deal with civilized people. I am going to spend all my spare time to get this business closed and cause as much grief as he has caused all of us. Law enforcement where are you?

This owner us horrible!!! Save your time and $$$$$. We has his guys install all of our flooring and within weeks it was falling apart. We sued his ass and won. This guy is not a licensed contractor nor are his workers. Stay away from here nothing but headaches and high blood pressure is what you will end up with.

Save your time, money, & headache go shop somewhere else. This sale rep./owner Dean Dinh is a liar, unprofessional, unethical. We just falling into his trap. Once he got our money and not deliver the materials that he promise, we will not able to reach him by phone or text. Not a trustworthy place at all.

We were encouraged by a coworker to see dean about his great prices. The friend even took my husband over to the store. The next day we went in and had to wait 30 min for the designer to come to buy some tile and hardwood flooring. Why we went w dean was 1^st my husbands coworker and 2^nd he said he could install it quickly. That was 8÷30÷13. Well just about all of what he said was a lie. He would promise over and over and come up w another excuse. After waiting 6 weeks and a lot of inconvenience to my daughter because she had to put her plans on hold until the floors were installed. We sent a demand letter and filed in small claims w everyone else. Dean does not have a business license it was suspend in 2010. Dean is not an inc the state suspended that ¹⁄₂₀₁₃ he owes the state money. This guy deserves to be in jail he robbed me he just didn’t have a gun. But what is worse is I can’t get any agency to stop him! But I won’t give up he owes me $ 6400!

Just been charged $ 20 for a sample 18″ x 18″ floor tile — supposedly porcelain. Got it home, placed it on the floor alongside some other samples from more expensive outlets and it cracked as soon as it got trodden on, when all the others remained sound — same prepared floor surface! Am suspecting the tile is low quality or may even be ceramic rather than porcelain. After reading all the bad reviews of this Dean Dinh fellow am not bothering to go back — shame about the twenty bucks. Lesson learned? Read reviews, they do seem to have an element of truth in them sometimes!

Dean Dinh is a #@$!$#%, he’s the worst of the worst, do not fall for his low price quote and do business with him, read all the other reviews and judge for yourself, no amount of saving is worth the trouble and headache and time + money he will cause you to lose and steal from you.
We were referred to Dean from a close friend that knows him socially, not professionally. We were warned that he’s a scam artist but his price is low and being that he knew our friends we thought he wouldn’t be so bad. After coming into the store to check out some cabinets Dean offered to come to our house to do measurements and layout for our kitchen, we accepted and he came, did his measurements. Drew up a draft plan on paper, said he will quote us later. Before taking any of our money he is very persistent and nice, calling us every so often to see where we are at on our purchase decision and when we would make the order. So after shopping around a few stores we decided to go with Dean because of the referral and his smooth talking.
When we came to the store he quoted us 4400 for everything and demanded a $ 3000 deposit. After reading the reviews we know not to give in to such a ridiculous amount, so the deposit haggling began, it started w/​3k, we said no way, we want COD, so he went down to 2k, then after a bit more tuggling we settled for $ 500 deposit and we reiterated multiple times that he needs to have our cabinet for us by Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest, he said no worries he will deliver on time. We placed the order on a Saturday, so 4 days waiting period is not bad. He did indeed delivered our cabinets to us actually on Monday, 2 days earlier than promised. We were not ready to have the granite slabs deliver at the same time due to our house going through a major renovation, we just wanted to make sure the cabinets are delivered. Dean told us if we want the granite slabs to let him know one day in advance so he can have it ready.
So 2 weeks after the cabinets arrived we were ready to get the slabs from Dean, we needed it on Thursday, called him on Monday to let him know he said it will be ready on Monday, come pick it up 9am no problem. So we called him multiple times to confirm the pickup date and every time we called if we were ever able to get a hold of him, we tried calling multiple times with different phone numbers to get an answer in the attempt to get the slabs he said he will have the slabs ready Thursday. So come thursday when my contractor came to pick up the slabs at his store, he said he doesnt have it, it’s not at the store but actually at the wholesale factory where he buys his product and my guys has to go there to get it. We got on the phone w/​Dean and said WTH we asked you multiple times and you said no problem and now we have to go somewhere else to get it. This guy is on some kind of drugs or something because he never answers his phone, when he does he will hang up on you before you finish talking if it’s a complaint or question regarding the product.
We also ordered some tiles from him and needed more, he said he will check and call us back and never called us back, after about 20 – 30 tries calling him he said he will have it but not now and if we wanted it now, go somewhere else and buy it. That was not all the problems, the cabinets he delivered, came with missing set of hinges for the doors, he did not provide enough crown molding and toe kick to cover our entire cabinets. And when he came to measure our kitchen for the layout, he layout our kitchen wrong and gave us the wrong size cabinet which left too much space in between our cabinet and the walls, something that could easily be avoided by ordering a larger size cabinet. This happened to 2 of our cabinets and we ended up having to not use the one were provided and pay for new cabinets from somewhere else to get the perfect fit. After Dean takes your check and cashes on the same day, you will never be able to get a hold of him again. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY, HE IS A LIAR AND HAS TERRIBLE BUSINESS ETHICS. after many attempts to call Dean to get the missing accessories for our cabinet my wife went straight to the store and he refused to provide us with the missing items, he claimed that everything was delivered and that we had lost the hinges and did not know how to cut molding so we used all that was provided.

If there was an option for ZERO star, that would be his rating.
Even though his quote for granite counter tops was very reasonable, the hidden fees (i.e. plumbing reconnection) and unprofessionalism (dishonesty) made me wish for another vendor.
I was renovating my home three years ago. (Yes, I remember this vendor to write about it. It was that traumatic!) And out of all the vendors I dealt with, he was the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL. Considering that counter tops should be first done in the renovations, I planned all the other contractors (paint and flooring) around HIS schedule. He was a day late without contacting me of the delay. When I called him about the delay, he yelled at me for BOTHERING him.
Also, when the job was first signed, he promised that everything was included even the plumbing reconnection. Wrong! I ended up scrambling for another contractor to finish the job, costing me another $ 600. I could have gone to another vendor, paid a little more and save me a migraine.
As I have learned, do NOT go to this vendor (I think he’s psychologically disturbed) and DO go through recommendations through family and friends.
Tip: Looking up California law I found out that — When dealing with a legitimate vendor on home improvement, the deposit should be no more than 10% of the whole project or $ 1000(whichever is lesser). If they ask for more, that is definitely a RED FLAG WARNING!
Tip 2: Check your potential vendor via
for their rating. The vendor needs to meet state licensing and insurance requirements to qualify. Just passing on wisdom and my experience.

Dean Dinh is the store owner who has robed many customers of him and also in the industry, none of his neighbors like him. He has bounce many checks with companies that provide him material and he has law sue’s from many unhappy customers.

Wish we had read the reviews before ordering. They started the granite in the bathroom and said they forgot the backsplash. After a month of calls they keep saying next week, next week. They now are saying they do not have in stock and will not deliver what was paid for. Yesterday the granite that was installed is cracking, they do not know what they are doing. Stay far away from this company!

What a talker! So sad. Got ripped off like some of the other people I read about. What a half a$$ job! My 9 yr old could have done a better kitchen. Dean Dihn is a horrible man!

Unfortunately, it looks like I was not the only one to be taken by Dean Dinh’s malicious business practices. All of the negative reviews I’ve read are spot on! To the best of my knowledge, he does not have a business nor contractor’s license. People like this give decent contractors a bad name.
Long story short, our six weeks project has turned into four months plus with his crew of one (who is also not a license contractor). It gets better — we were dumb enough to advance him $ 30K. House remains unfinished at maybe 35 completed and the craftsmanship is less than desirable. My shower, which was initially worked on back in mid-​June is still not up and functional. Needless to say, we have terminated our services with Mr. Dinh and will be pursuing Criminal and Civil lawsuits. We will be presenting our case to the DA. God only knows how many others he has scammed out of their hard earned money.

Dean Dinh is nothing but a crook, I paid him the total balance for my kitchen cabinets, I called him several times and he would even return my phone calls, finally when this past Saturday he called me to inform me that cabiets were on the way, he decided to charge me an additional $ 1000, when I refused to pay he told his driver not to leave cabinets and told me to go F… myself over the phone. Now I have to take him to court to recover my money. DO NOT BUY FROM HIM, HE SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS!

Dean Dinh is unprofessional at best, and a Liar at worst. In November I went in with detailed drawings and designs for our kitchen cabinets and he provided a quote for me in November. I was surprised at how low the price was, considering all the elements I had in the drawings, and kept re-​iterating, this kitchen for that price? (He has a very strong accent and I wanted to make sure I was understanding correctly) He told me yes, everything was no problem, and it would be just as I had designed it.
In December we tried to order, and everything started to become a problem. All of a sudden he couldn’t do the design I had given him to price, he called me incessantly to review and make changes and the design became more and more dumbed down. Our schedule and budget at that point was very tight so we accepted in order to try to keep everything on track. We placed our order and PAID FOR THE CABINETS in full on 12÷16÷11. He said they would be installed in 10 days, between Christmas and New Years, or first week of the year the latest.
Long story short, once I paid him, he stopped returning calls, did not call me between Christmas and New Years, he did not even order our cabinets until the first week of the year, at which point he told me they were on back order for 2 weeks. Still thinking we would be ok with our move in date for 1÷15÷12, we kept our order with him.
Then after the two weeks he really started to dodge our calls, and if we did get in touch with him, he was incredibly hostile and evasive. We had to move into our house with NO KITCHEN. I am 9 months pregnant and have a 2 year old child, so this was inconvenient to say the least. They finally installed the cabinets yesterday, 2÷7÷12, almost 8 weeks later. We had questions and concerns about the installation which we tried to contact him about, but our last 4 calls to him went un-​returned, until of course the installation was done, then he sent someone unannounced to sit in my driveway and try to collect a check for the last payment. I told this person that my husband needed to discuss some things with Dean, which he would do after work, but he began arguing with me and wouldn’t leave our porch, which was really kind of scary.
I would run from this place as fast as you can. There are plenty of other options on State College Blvd. Their «super low prices» and empty promises are NOT worth it.

Looking for flooring & cabinets for our kitchen remodel. Lots of stuff to see, many of the same things you’ll find in each and every storefront along State College for a few blocks north/​south of here.
Asked for an estimate but their estimator was not in (it was Sunday, after all). Wrote down dimensions & also sent an email to verify layout/​dimensions/​cabinet specs. Received no reply for email (even a courtesy, «I’ve sent this on to our estimator & he’ll get back to you.» I had to call them only to be told, «I got your email, I’m giving it to the estimator now.» If I haven’t mentioned it before now, I hate to waste time with phone calls for updates. In any case, I received a call back from my sales person, then another call back from the estimator, who said he’d lower the price of the cabinets if I came in to talk with him. SOP? I don’t know. He called me again to say he’d lower the price but it felt kind of shady.
I emailed again, this time asking for the rest of my estimate: countertops and flooring. Never received a response.
Cut to this past weekend when we went in to order tile for the kitchen floor — they seem to have the best pricing so we decided to go with them, despite their lack of customer service. Got a different sales person who seemed a little more «together» but then seemed to get into a discussion with our previous sales person who seemed hell bent on getting her commission. Whatever. We made sure to tell the new guy that the «help» we received from the other woman was terrible. She had more than one excuse for not returning my emails or calls – whatever. I was just there for tile.
The sales guy said he’d try to get our tile order to will call at a location closer to our jobsite than their store and that he’d call me with confirmation. Of course, that was supposed to happen yesterday. I’ve sent an email and I’m about to call them now, updates soon…
