1st visit. It was late Saturday night and we found this little hole in the wall place! I must admit I was kind of nervous, but I still went in. The place was super packed which if you ask me, that’s a good sign that the food is good! Well these were THEBESTTACOS I’ve had in a long time! Tacos are $ 1 each. Gorditas, quesadillas, burritos and tortas are $ 5 each. I tried the carne Asada, chorizo, al pastor and buche tacos — they were amazing! My hubby and sis in law had the quesadillas and they were quite pleased too! The al pastor and buche are amazing! So next time you’re in the mood for some late night authentic tacos — go here!

Finding it was a bit difficult because Google maps misdirected me. It’s in the left corner within the Northgate Market shopping center. The sign is small and black. The Fooooood, the food was B-O-M-B annnnd affordable! They make it right in front of you, the sides(lime, cilantro, onion salsas) are at a self-serving station. Everything is fresh and freakiing deeeelish! Tacos $ 1, Burritos $ 5 Torta $ 5 But be forewarned, it is CASH only & by 5pm they only serve tacos or quesadillas. Which was a real bummer since I was craving a Torta. Nonetheless, my belly was fully content Planning on coming here this weekend to try out the Burritos and Torta! Can’t wait!

After reading a lot of good reviews I decided to give it a try. Once I walked in the place had a funky order and it was dirty but I still went in and got 4 tacos asada, alpastor, chorizo and tripa not the best tacos I tasted I had better ones. Very disappointed I would not be returning again

A friend of ours took us to this taco shop frequented by locals. At 10pm, the line was insane with little breathing room. It doesn’t provide the cleanest space nor fastest service, but when throngs of people show up like it’s Disneyland, you know they’re doing something right. First off, prices are cheap. Tacos are $ 1 and they have a variety of meats cooked, and cut right in front of you. As in, immediately beside the register. I was hoping to get a burrito, but they ran out of ingredients. Settled for a few Asada and Al Pastor tacos. My friend got a Quesadilla. Horchata was also out. You should know basic or broken Spanish, because those order numbers will not be called out in English when you pick up your food. Have cash in hand. Getting to and from the salsa bar is the greatest challenge here, as it’s also near the register and constantly gets refilled and floors are continuously swept from all the movement and stray onions/cilantro: etc. Most efficient way: don’t bother with the sauce cups. Follow the regulars and dump all your toppings straight into the sandwich bags. It saves so much time. Good luck finding a seat. We were fortunate to get a table outside to enjoy our meal. The meat(I favored Pastor over Asada) was nicely marinated and cooked, and piled into the tortillas. Their quesadillas are thick and cheesy as well. The Salsa Roja really packs heat; both it and the Verde did the job. Though the food was good, I don’t know if I’d stand in that line again, even to risk waiting for a $ 5 burrito they can’t make. 3.75 stars

Found this gem while driving around, craving tacos, and decided to give it a try. It is only $ 1 for each taco and the line is crazy long. The place is super busy, but so worth it! I ordered carne asada and al pastor tacos and they are amazing!

I love how cheap their tacos are and its pretty good. The quesadillas are also amazing but kinda pricey for me. My only concern is that the place is filthy. They do not wear gloves whatsoever when cooking or preparing the food. I also checked for a grading on their window, which they also didn’t have.

This place is dirty af! And seeing how dirty the place is grossed me out! There were plenty of employees working today that could have cleaned up… finally some guy came out and cleaned ONE table and started sweeping. But that only happened after a family came in(which looked to me like the owners. Figured this because of the way the husband was walking in and out of the food prep area)

Great food and prices. This place has officially become my favorite taco shop in Anaheim. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the limited sitting. Everything is so cramped together with steel plated tables giving it a genuine penitentiary cafeteria vibe. Often times, the salsa bar looks like a tornado pass through it. I credit this to how busy it gets and not because they don’t clean up. Overall the food has been great and never have they skimp on the portions.

Great taco’s for only $ 1! Gorditas $ 2.50 only on the weekends. Salsa’s are spicy but delicious, cilantro & onions are fresh! Traditional grease dipped tortillas & nicely seasoned beef. Place is really small & crowded but they keep the line moving.

Easily one of the most popular taquerias in Anaheim and, for my money, some of the tastiest tacos in town. The key to any great taco is, of course, the taste and texture of the meats. Theirs are succulent, moist and well seasoned. Meat options include asada(beef steak), al pastor(Shepard style pork), buche(pork stomach), cabeza(beef head), tripas(intestines) and chorizo(sausage). Slabs of cooked meat are tossed on to a grill only at the time of order and then chopped into bite-size morsels. All the savory choices come steaming hot(not allowed to air dry in a heating pan) and just taste amazing! They are piled on generously too. The preparers will make a taco by taking a tortilla in hand to scoop up chunks of meat then lay it right on a plate. No need for serving spoons. Moreover, the pre-made tortillas are soaked in water and then grilled until they are warm, smoky, softened and moist. If you cannot get them freshly handmade, this is the next best thing for a superior taco. Besides tacos, the menu includes burritos($ 5), quesadillas($ 5) and tortas($ 5). The choices are small but stellar. On weekends, they also prepare gorditas($ 2.50) and menudo($ 6). The salsa bar includes salsa roja, salsa verde, sliced red radishes, sliced cucumber, diced onions, chopped cilantro and very juicy and squeezable sliced limes. Drinks all come in one size($ 1) and include soft drinks, horchata, Jamaica and aqua frescas. Tight and narrow dining area inside, including screechy aluminum side tables and chairs, plus a long table in the center to accommodate larger or multiple parties. Lines are long and usually out-the-door on weekends so prepare for a wait. BESTBETS: some of the best chorizo I have tried, well seasoned and not overcooked. The al pastor and buche also offer the most flavor in my opinion. The torta with asada was meaty and delicious, the lettuce and tomato were crisp and fresh. A good option if you want to try any of the meats in sandwich form. Their savory, succulent meats are top-of-the-chain. You will not find a bad choice on the menu at Taqueria Los Gueros. CASHONLY

The line out the door is trying to tell you that you need to go here and try this place out!!! My boyfriend and I tried this place for the very first time and let me just say we will be coming back! The best thing about this place are the $ 1.00 tacos, all day every day! You’re not limited to a few choices like many places. I recommend getting the asada, al pastor, and the tripa(which my bf loved). The onions, cilantro, limes, cucumbers, and sauces are all on the side so you can either put them in little baggies to go or pile them on top of your tacos to your liking! Remember to get the $ 1 horchata on the side :)

When my coworkers told me that they know of an awesome authentic taqueria in this area, I totally thought they meant El Pollo Fino, which is great and amazing, but instead, we ended up going here for lunch. This place is a hole in the wall, insanely small and cramped, but there was an awesome looking salsa bar which had red and green salsa, alongside onions and cilantro. My coworker and I split a bean and cheese burrito and a bean and cheese quesadilla. I thought it was really weird how they sell kirkland water here though when I went to grab a drink. We had like 6 people in our party, so we grabbed seats at the large middle table. Even though the place was busy, we got our food fairly quickly. The bean and cheese burrito was okay. I slathered it in green salsa which really helped to give it more flavor. It also had rice in it and some lettuce and a little tomato, but then I noticed that there were also some pieces of meat in my burrito. So, for you vegeterian Unilocalers, this place is totally not vegetarian friendly. The bean and cheese quesadilla was burnt and inedible. I took a couple of bites, but I couldn’t bring myself to eat anymore of it. There was something really off about how that tasted. I wouldn’t come back here. If you are looking for good taquerias, go to el pollo fino or taqueria de anda.
