This review is solely for the lady dispatcher I spoke with. I got a flat tire at the parking structure of Disneyland and everyone that walked by was too «kind» to even look my way and help. But it’s okay, it was 10−11pm. I understand they had a long day of fun at the Disneyland, they didn’t want to be bothered. So I guess my car was sold to me with no jack in it and the amazing people that did try to help me, didn’t have the right jack for my suv. When I called this place like 5 times! Saying I needed someone sent to me, calling back saying never mind, then again calling to tell her to send someone to me. She never once gave me an attitude, she had the best customer service. It was a relief not having to deal with someone with a bad attitude over the phone when I was already having my own problems. I didn’t catch her name but she was definitely memorable. We ended up not needing any of their workers sent out to us because a family in a hummer ended up helping us so I don’t have anything to say about their drivers.

Called AAA for a jump start and they sent me this company. Driver didn’t get to me until 2 hours after my call. Not only did the driver not know where the battery was on my car (he had to ask me), but I think he was legit DRUNK and was rude literally telling me he hates my car and that they’re too complicated. He concluded saying he couldn’t get to the battery and I needed to be towed to a shop.
Only giving 2 stars because I called AAA back to tell them I specifically needed someone who can just jump start me and knows where my battery is. They sent another guy from the same company but was actually informative, told me what a shop might charge me for a new battery for my car, and jumped my car no problem.

Wait was superrr long but to be expected during rush hour traffic on a weekday. Had a horribly shitty day and car broke down.
My tow truck driver was Marco he was a super cool, really nice guy. Used the service through AAA and happy I got him as a driver after having a horrible experience with a different tow company same day. This 5 star reviews for the good customer service provided by Marco. THANK YOU !

Great company, even better drivers! My experience as a whole was perfect, the only thing was my driver was a tad late, but what do expect when you breakdown on the 22fwy during rush hour?! My driver was professional, clean, and greeted me with a smile. This is how a towing company should be now I don’t use my AAA calls anymore I call ULTIMATE DIRECT because I KNOW they’ll get the job done right!

My car’s battery was out on Dec 29, 2015. AAA battery service sent Steven from Ultimate Towing & Recovery within exact 20 minutes. Steven was able to make the car start by a jump-​start. Then he went further to test the charging system when I told him I’ve heard whining sound when the car first started for the last couple days. He tested and found out the alternator did not charge the battery.
Upon the finding, I wanted to have the alternator replaced but wondered if I the battery is keeping charged enough so I can drive to the nearest mechanic shop couple blocks away. Steven promptly provided solution that I drive my car and he follows. If my the battery is out and the car stops along the way, he will jump-​start it. Luckily I was able to get to the shop with no problem with Steven followed up to the shop’s yard.
I appreciate Steven’s great help. He performed great service, not a normal job.

The driver showed up much earlier than the estimated time. He was polite, friendly and chatty, but not too chatty. Just about right for an 84-​mile tow. After dropping my car at the mechanic’s the tow driver offered me a ride to go pick up a rental car.

Yesterday I had my car break down 55 miles from my home, being a AAA member I called to set up a tow, the company they dispatched bailed on me so they called Ultimate towing. 45 minutes later Marco showed up the first thing him and his co worker did was apologize for how long it took them even though they came from far to help. The next thing he did was make sure it wasn’t just my battery or something simple. Once he made sure I was in need of a tow they quickly got it on the truck. He was so friendly and did all he could to make sure I was comfortable on the long drive back to my house. I’ve had to tow a car 4 times in my entire life this was by far the best experience I have had in a terrible situation. They both went out of the way to engage me in conversation instead of a terrible awkward drive home, They made a terrible day much better. When we got to my house they did all they could to put the car in the best place for me..

Late to pick up car 30 minutes but that is not what I am upset about. Driver somehow beat me home 80 miles away even though I was going 75 plus no stops home but he then proceeds to drive the car over my decorative rocks in my yard park it as close as possible to my brand new 45k Dodge Challenger and then door ding the passenger door with the driver door of the towed vehicle. Then he threw the keys under the mat of the towed vehicle and didn’t bother to wait even though someone is supposed to be here to receive the towed vehicle. I am speechless right now. I have reported this to AAA and have filed a formal complaint. Most unprofessional towing experience I have ever experienced I am incredibly angry and expect resolution.

They deserve 0 stars. So far we’ve waited two and a half hours. The dispatcher’s customer service skills are horrible… I’ve never been addressed so rudely. Our rental car company contracts with this business and I will be writing a letter to them sharing my experience.

Just had my car towed and had a good experience with these guys I called asked for some quotes they are a little more pricey then other places but they where quick to respond even though the dispatcher sounded half asleep and the Unilocal discount helped they charged me 60 bucks and 5 a mile ended up being around 100 bucks ouch! but they took great care of my car and the driver was friendly and helpful tried to jump my car first and when that didn’t work he quickly hitched my car and we where on the way over all a good experience I would rather pay for someone who will take the time and try to help then look for a cheaper less experienced company

I recently had an event at the Anaheim Convention Center where I needed to tow an empty food truck into the venue. I called multiple tow companies in the area and no one could give me an answer as to if they could tow my truck or not. Jose from Ultimate towing was great and so helpful! I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to tow large vehicles. He was prompt and very understanding of the venue’s strict rules and guidelines. Great service and will use again!!!

… I would just like to go ahead out there and let my experience to be heard. This company is top– notch I mean when you think of Fairness and honestly that’s what these guys are about. My car broke down and I needed it to get towed with out keys and it made it more difficult to tow without keys but these guys made it possible. «Jose» thank you so much for the amazing service and for the price you charge, you are such an understand person I just wanted to tell you that!!!

I had a great experience with Ultimate Towing even though my night sucked when my car gave out. When I called I was given a time frame to expect someone & they were right on time. They made what could’ve been an even more disastrous night a little better with their friendly person who took my call to the man that arrived to help me. I couldn’t have asked for better service. God forbid me or any of my friends have our cars go out on us, but if they do this is the service to call first.

I wish they had 0 Stars. This tow company is VERY irresponsible, and the telephone operator sits on a high horse and tells the CUSTOMER that s/​he is wrong, even when the tow company is at fault.
We set up a time to tow my car between 10am and 10:30am Saturday morning. I get a call at 9:30am from the towing guy saying that he’s been waiting a while and can’t wait any longer so he must go. W. T. F. ?
I’m sorry but I do NOT have telepathy, NOR any other powers to read your mind. Are you kidding me? We set up the appointment for time X and you arrive at time Z and tell me I’m at fault? The reason this is such a problem is that the car was left at the road at night, since i couldn’t drive home.
Now the car is being towed without me, and I have to take a taxi for the 20+ mile trip. When I tried explaining my dilema to the operator (Amber), this is what she said, and I quote:
«Sir, sir, sir, please stop being NASTY to me and I will try to explain things to you and talk to SAFECO to get reimbursement for the taxi»
I’m sorry, you said «NASTY»? W.T.F? I did NOT swear, I merely pointed out the fact that A) The time that was set was X B) I cannot read peopl’es minds hence I cannot arrive 1 hour prior to our appointment time.
Also, the towing company is supposed to get in contact with the customer to set up the time. Did they contact me? NO They just decided to do things their way.
That Amber… wow what a character, which ever man is or will be married to her, wowee is he going to be in for a surprise when he finds out her personality.

So this is my first positive review I give on Unilocal and for good reason (I really should do this more though!). I was in the orange county area 9÷8÷11 the day San Diego had the power outage, well my car over heated and was stranded. I called AAA but they were taking about 2 hrs cause traffic from power outage in SD. I decided to give Ultimate towing a chance after finding out their hook up fee was only 50 dollars and since i was going a few miles he charged me flat rate of 60 and was there in less then 15 mins!!! Jose, the owner of Ultimate towing recommended an honest mechanic shop and hung out with me till they took my car in. He also gave me a ride to a near by restaurant/​bar to watch the NFL football game while my car was being worked on. That’s good service folks!
