Walkers’s Liquor & Deli

Don’t let this place fool you. It looks a little shady but the sandwiches are better then a lot of sandwich shops in the area. Definitely worth it. I’ll be coming back, maybe for some beer too.

Came here on a few recommendations by coworkers and they did not let me down. How many liquor stores do you know of that make legit sandwiches?
This one has to take a spot on your go to sub/​sandwich places. The store itself looks a little sketchy but in the far corner you will find some nice ladies that are sandwich artists. I have gone with the hot pastrami and of course I could not pass up a chance at a rueben (my all time fave).
Both of these sandwiches were delicious, especially the rueben, simple ingredients, most places just dont do them right for some reason. That is not the problem here. My rueben was warm, no ingredient over powered another and it all made a perfect harmony with my taste buds.
Notes:
Getting a sandwich created here does take some time, but it’s worth it.
If you order a large sandwich on squaw or rye bread they will create a double decker for you.

Yes, it’s a liquor store, but surprisingly they use Boars Head brand meats to make good sandwiches way better than Subway.
Italian on white roll and the Tuna on Squaw with some pasta salad were definite winners, especially for a liquor store. lol ;)

I’ve lived close by but this place is tucked away and I never saw it until I was going by on a run. My sandwich was great!

Always delicious here. They have great sandwiches and soups, awesome salads and memorable customer service. I’ve had hot and cold sandwiches and I’ve never been disappointed. When I need a carb fix, Walkers Deli is where it’s at!

This place us so overpriced. Clerk even said guess there really just there to make sandwiches during the day. I heard they have really good sandwiches. Couldn’t tell you haven’t tried I will try. Prices though on all other product should be lower specialy with over two hundred more houses they built behind them.

Their sandwiches are pretty freaking delicious. Turkey Avocado Bacon is bae! Pair it with some chips and a drink and you got yourself a satisfactory lunch or meal for any time of the day! Their pasta salads are tasty as well! You might be paying the same price for a Subway meal but I personally think I’m getting a super stuffed sandwich at this place so to me it’s worth every pretty penny!

I recommend this place… Delicious fresh sandwiches… and very good customer service… This is my go-​to place to get my lunch.

This place has one of the best tuna on squaw bread sandwiches. Great deli selection hidden in a hole in the wall liquor store! Quite a find!

We love this place. We used Unilocal to look up a local deli as we love fresh sandwiches. We saw that this liquor store also carried a deli. Wow! Everything tastes so fresh!
I always get the turkey bacon avocado sandwich on squaw bread. I must say, their squaw bread is some of the most fresh and soft bread I have had. Everything has so much flavor. I get mine without mustard and onion so it comes with turkey, lettuce, tomato, mayo, bacon, avocado, and I add cheddar cheese to mine for a little extra charge. I get the 8 inch and that makes me stuffed!
My husband gets the 12 inch turkey on sourdough with lettuce and mayo only. Since sourdough is not a roll, they make it a three layered sandwich. Two layers of turkey, lettuce, and mayo in between three slices of sourdough bread.
You get a punch card and for every 12 sandwiches you buy you get a free 8 inch sandwich. If you go on Saturdays you get a free drink.
Deli is closed on Sundays — FYI.
Service is very nice. These people clearly care about their customers. We have gone quite a few times now and now they know us.

Great Sandwiches, Friendly Staff. I had driven past this place for years and never thought much about checking it out. After having sandwiches from several local shops I decided I needed to find somewhere better. I was looking for somewhere with fresh ingredients, quality meats and who appreciated the business.
Walkers Liquor and Deli is great. I have never ran into a crowd, they have never ran out of any of the ingredients, they are always friendly and will carry on a conversation with you as your food is being prepaired, they use Boar Heads meats and most of all the food is delicious and filling. I think I may have finally found the deli I have been searching for to conquer my cravings
