Yong & Kim Dental

Dr. Yong and Kim have been our family dentist for 8 years now. They both have great bedside manners, are conservative in their diagnosis and fees are fair. Recently, my dad had an implant placed by Dr. Yong and we couldn’t be happier with the result. He has no trouble eating and only had minor discomfort for a few days. Great office! Highly recommend.

My family has been coming here for a couple years. The dentists are awesome and the staff is friendly & courteous. They’re fast and food at their job. Would definitely continue to recommend them to my friends and family.

Where do I start. This husband and wife team are a good match. The staff are friendly too. This place is about how to take care of the patient, not how to maximize the bill. They are very informative on how to be helpful to keep costs down for the patient. The professionalism and warm sense make you at ease. The movie you can watch helps too. My cleaning was done relatively pain free. Wait wasn’t too long. The cost fair and I will be back for future dental needs. Hopefully not for a long time but at least I feel this place is a great place my dental needs.

I am terrified of dentist. Usually the part where I get the shot. I’ve been to over 50 dentist in my life including dentist in other countries. I’ve even kicked over dental try because I was just scared. .lol. This office has the friendliest staff I’ve ever seen and they make me feel at ease. The equipment and the TV screens they have makes reviewing my teeth and watching movies pretty fun. I still have to thank Dr Yong for turning a possible root canal into just a cavity filling… (OMG… I saved so much money and pain… LOL)
He gave me all options for my teeth and never made me take the more expensive route. Oh and he is the most gentle dentist I’ve ever been to. Well, I’m not a writer but this is the best dentist if I have to see one.

These guys gave me a root canal and were very thorough, professional, friendly. I have recommend them to a lot for my friends and they have also been very happy.

Who likes dentists? I don’t think anyone does. Who likes free dental visits? Well, you can’t argue with free. Thanks to my employer, this visit was all out of their pocket.
Before I go into any detail further, I gotta say the office is conveniently located kitty corner to Vons. I live in the cim corp lofts so I could walk there if I wanted, but I ended up driving.
Anyways. I had a cleaning done. Basic. What I didn’t like was the Dr. He really didn’t introduce himself, his assistant was nice though. He is asian, (not racist) but was not reassuring or friendly. I have experienced much better dentists in the past. The cleaning, well no one likes to get their teeth cleaned. The sound & feeling of the drill on the surface of the teeth is like nails on a chalk board. I just hate it. It doesn’t hurt but you know it’s like one of those things you just want to scream when it happens.
I was there for about an hour, he really didn’t talk much during the visit. He told me I need to breathe through my nose since breathing through your mouth dries out the salvia that protects the teeth. Interesting fact.
At the end of the visit he didn’t ask if I had any questions. It was weird. He didn’t even use any of the foam stuff that you get to pick the flavor on most visits. He also didn’t floss.
I’m not sure if I will be back. I can’t be too angry as it was technically a free visit.

This is by far the best dentist that I have gone to. My son 7 had a baby root canal done and he fell asleep. That is how gentle they are. I give them two thumbs up.

This is a small office (two chairs). They are a husband and wife team and the staff is friendly and excellent. They really explain all the options and let you decide what’s best for you. I’ve had both dentists work on my smile and I am happy with both.

This office was referred to me thru my coworker and i postponed my schedule as much as i can until i couldn’t wait any longer. I was nervous and worried about my wisdom teeth removal procedures but Dr. Yong explained to me whole steps and communicate with me during the whole time. i was just busy trying to watch HAPPY FEET while i m laying down and forget about where i was. Office staff called on next day to ask how i feel and i thought it was nice post operation call. It is kind of nice to have reliable dentist near by my work… I made appointment for deep cleaning for my coffee stains.
