History

Established in 2007.

A Happy Dog Day Camp and Boarding owners were looking for daycare for their new puppy Monster and couldn’t find a dog daycare that provided daycare services they wanted. In September of 2007 the doors opened at 1525 E. Tudor Rd and the fun began! Open play, art work, birthday parties, costume contests, fetch and lots more fun activities ensued!

In 2010 the company expanded to a second location at 8210 Hartzell Rd. Double Fun!

We have taken our Pup to their Tudor location since they opened and this has truly been his happy place.

I have brought my small dog to the south side location several times. I wish the negative review about the dogs barking would specify which location they are talking about. The employees always seem to care a lot about the individual needs of the dogs and my dog always comes home happy (albeit dirty — but that’s going to happen when dogs play.) I do see the larger dogs seem to be outside by themselves when I pull up but I was told that there was always someone monitoring the small dogs.

If you bring your dog here, you’re wasting your money. I live behind the building and they don’t do anything with the dogs. The poor dogs sit at the door and bark for HOURS from 630am to 630pm. You walk over when you’re fresh off a midnight shift and ask them to do something about it but the employees are clueless. TAKE THE DOGS INSIDE. They’re just bored, sitting outside barking anyways. If only my landlord hadn’t strategically showed me the place at 8pm…
