This is the only store of its kind in Anchorage. Even if it wasn’t, I would argue this place is AMAZING. They have both freshwater tropical and marine fish, coral, shellfish, anemone, etc. Honestly even though the store is small, I was more excited at some of the fish that in large scale aquarium attractions I’ve been to in the lower 48.
The fish are expensive there’s no way around it. But these fish are healthy, robust, and kept in immaculate tanks by knowledgeable staff. They also have a good selection of tank chemicals and fish pharmaceuticals.

Awesome staff and very knowledgable and helpful, locally owned small business with staff who knows what they are talking about. They will not sell you a fish that will eat all of the other inhabitants of your aquarium. They also service and setup aquariums everything from a small Beta tank to a large salt water aquarium.

I love this place. Extremely knowledgable and friendly staff; brought in some strange algae I had growing in my tank and they were quickly able to identify it as well as suggest some fish to keep it at bay (Hasn’t grown back since!)
They are locally owned and operated, which is always a plus in my book, and have the best selection of HEALTHY fresh and saltwater fish that puts the pet stores to shame. I wish I would have known about them years ago before I dropped hundreds of dollars at the other pet stores.
