My husband and I moved here eight months ago and had signed a years lease with the intent to stay longer anyhow long story short the home we were renting was sold out from underneath us.
Still being new to the area not even a year under our belt yet we needed help in our hurried move and Alison’s came through with flying colors!
From the moment I called to inquire about local moves the staff was friendly and courteous, happy to help answer my questions and fulfill our requests and needs.
The morning of the move they called before hand to let us know when they would be arriving and keep their word on every front they promised.
Oh and did they ever deliver! The crew was Tim, Kevin and Nemo and I can’t sing enough praises for these three men! They were on the ball! Professional, informative, efficient and they went above and beyond and were able to move a tall bench restaurant style couch that had been sitting on its end in the other garage since we moved here because that moving company couldn’t get it through the doors. I was so bummed because I had bought it brand new before we left the lower 48 and couldn’t wait to use it. I would pull in everyday into the garage with a bit of a let down seeing my beautiful new couch sitting there and not being enjoyed. When the crew was informed of this they said no problem we will get it in your new home, it will fit! They did and I was elated! FINALLY I get to enjoy my new couch and they were determined and I was so grateful, still am! I have been able to enjoy the fruits of their labor!
Tim, Kevin & Nemo are the men and if they can’t move it no one can!!!
Ask for their services on your next move and you won’t be disappointed! It refreshing to experience true customer service and be treated like you matter. They take pride in what they do and it showed!

Alison McDaniel, the owner of the moving company, Alison’s Relocations, had not responded to my requests or left messages on her voicemail without responses or doing anything to repair the items that were damaged by them along with canceling the damage insurance en-​route to the destination.
Alison wrote, «…In the best interest of both you and my company I ask what you would find to be fair conclusion for you and your mom that would conclude to your satisfaction and the removal of the negative review».
At this time, I have been waiting for Alison McDaniel to repair the items and I will update my review accordingly.

Maybe I got lucky but I had a great moving experience with Alison’s. I talked to Ben on the phone and he explained everything and answered all my questions. He came over the day before the movers showed up and went over everything. The movers showed up the next day and loaded everything into crates. They were very nice and polite. All of the office staff was patient and helpful and believe me, I called more than once with dumb questions.
This was a stressful move for me and I want to thank everyone at Alison’s. Everything arrived and in good shape. Nothing got damaged. I have left a review for the guys that delivered my stuff in Juneau (Reliable). They too were great.

Recently my family moved from our Anchorage home of 22 years and hired Alison’s Relocations for our move. I very strongly recommend others do the same. Alison’s team handled our move professionally. They were very careful and caring with our family treasures. The packing was very thorough and complete.
Even more than those basic moving needs that were so well handled, the moving crew was an absolute pleasure. From the first hours when the crew arrived to the moment they walked out the door, we had a great time. They obviously enjoy their work and each others. It was truly a pleasure to have them having fun in our house. Moving is stressful enough that you don’t need to worry about the movers.
Interestingly when we arrived at our destination, the team that helped us move into our new home were also very happy our move was handled by Alison’s. They said the moves are always well packed and organized in a way that makes it smoother for them. The company’s reputation is strong even outside Alaska.

If you’re moving in the Anchorage area stay FAR away from Alisons Relocation. Not only do they have the most unprofessional and rude office staff, their movers are thieves. A box worth about $ 800 dollars magically falls off the truck, their so called «manager» says we won’t be charged until it’s resolved, yet here we are, now out a ridiculous amount of money. I do not mind being charged for services, except when we are explicitly told that the charges would wait until this was resolved. We simply want our property back
