Exploring the Last Frontier, one craft brewery at a time. Join a knowledgeable ‘hoperator’ for an off-​the-​beaten path tour full of sudsy fun. You will be introduced to some of Alaska’s finest breweries, brewers, and beers on this behind the scenes look into the local craft brewing industry. The tours are as much about the history of Alaskan beers, the masters who brew them, and the locals who drink them, as they are about tasting the beers themselves. We want our guests to leave their time with us feeling like they have connected with Alaska and, most importantly, with the people who call this breathtaking state home. With a maximum group size of 12, these small group tours ensure a personalized experience. Tours operate Monday-​Saturday and depart from the corner of 4^th Ave., and F St., located in front of the Visitor Information Center, in the heart of downtown Anchorage. History

Established in 2014.

The idea of a craft brewery tour of Anchorage had been brewing within me since 2008 during my 5 year stint as a tour director with Royal Celebrity Tours. I led hundreds of cruise guests throughout the state each summer. During our layovers in Anchorage, there were very few options for visiting guests to truly experience what Anchorage had to offer outside the downtown corridor of restaurants and gift shops. As an avid traveler myself, one of my favorite things to do in a foreign town is to visit the local brewpub (s). I’ve always felt that brewpubs bring an assortment of people under the same roof to enjoy a common theme, good beer! It’s at the breweries that you can connect with the locals and really get a good feel for the place you are visiting. I wanted to extend this experience to visitors stopping through Anchorage and share our exceptional craft beer scene.
