History

Established in 2013.

We are a local family in Anchorage and have been residents of this wonderful state for over 30 years. We started our business venture back in 2004 as The Little BBQ House, we were closed for a year and reopened under our new name Corea Blue. Mrs. Kim is back in the kitchen cooking our customers their favorite dishes «cooked with love» as our customers like to say. Our location is a little hidden but well worth the effort to drive up and down Debarr to spot our sign in the Russian Jack Plaza.

We are a two women show here at Corea Blue

Mama Kim is the person who runs this show, She is the amazing woman who cooks all of our wonderful dishes, you can be sure that her cooking is authentic home cooked meals. How she cooks for our customers is how she would cook for the family at home. She may not remember your name but you can bet that if you are a regular customer she will have your «usual» order memorized just the way you like it. You will always be greeted by her warm smile and will always be taken care of.

Yudee, Mama Kim’s daughter, is the helper. She will be your hostess, waitress, busser and cashier. If she disappears into the kitchen she is more the likely peeling onions, cutting mushrooms or doing dishes. Yudee is not shy to answer questions you may have about our dishes or other miscellaneous questions like where is the closest Korean grocery store?
