Top of the World Restaurant

This place has closed down.
Note: I heard that this hotel may have its «Hilton» designation removed. Went in to check on availability and found the staff to be very rude plus there was ridiculously loud jazz music playing. Just wanted to get the hell out ASAP.

On top of the Hilton Anchorage, Top of the World has an large open air seating area offers amazing views of shoreline, glaciers, Denali and all of the city of Anchorage — awe-​inspiring day or night.
They offer a fancy, all-​you-​can-​eat buffet of foods local to Alaska, like something with moose and elk and salmon berries, stuff like that, mixed with more familiar foods and presented well. Comfort food style, for the most part, but an easy buffet setting, so if you make a mistake and hate a new thing you’re trying, you can just get something else — but nothing was bad at all. I think it was like $ 20 a person or so, which I thought was totally reasonable.
They also offer non-​buffet food, but it didn’t seem worth it and everyone there had the buffet.
