Established in 1976.

Founded in 1976 and bought by the Sosebee family in 2006, Sosebee Mortuary has always been a part of helping the surrounding communities by honoring the memories of lost friends and family. Our team is always ready and willing to help you through this difficult time.

Our 14 years in the funeral business has proven that nothing is more important than a personal experience. We want to help fulfill your family’s wishes in the most respectful and stress-​free way possible.

Jim S.

Business Owner

Jim Sosebee resides in Anderson and is a graduate of South Carolina’s only ABFSE accredited Funeral Service Education program. He is dual-​licensed in South Carolina as both a Funeral Director and Embalmer. Jim retired after 32 years of service in the Fire Department serving multiple counties throughout the state. He is also a veteran of the US Army.
