History
Established in 1982.
In the necessity to feed their hired hands, a local couple began feeding their help from their household griddle in a make shift kitchen at this location once established as a gas station. Their burgers became so popular, a business was born. One of the owners let her fingers do the walking in an encyclopedia and Timbuktu is where they landed. Perfect at the time, as it truly was in the middle of nowhere!
Today Timbuktu is surrounded by a progressive community, still providing jobs and feeding the community.
