Specialties

We are centrally located in Angels Camp — the heart of Calaveras County. We provide daily flower deliveries to the following towns: Angels Camp, Arnold Ca, Murphys Ca, San Andreas Ca, and Copperopolis Ca.

We also specialize in wedding flowers. For those interested in getting married in Calaveras County, Tuolumne County, or Amador County, we have wedding packages available on our website. We routinely do wedding work at The Gardens in Murphys, Bear Valley Lodge, Sequoia Woods Country Club, Iron Stone winery, Green Horn Creek Resort, Saddle Creek Resort, Black Oak Casino Resort, and the many little churches in our area.

History

Established in 1985.

In 1985 Blooms & Things Florist in Arnold became owned by Vicki & Ron McFall. Those who were around back in those days may remember that Blooms & Things was located in a tiny space next to Vicki’s parent’s restaurant called Daffy’s Roost (in what is now called the Hub) and it was not at all uncommon for people to pick up lunch and a bunch of Margaret Daisies to take back to the office.

Fast forward to the present, what’s changed? Only our location. We are now in Angels Camp where customers can still pick-​up daisy bunches just like they used too or have a beautifully arranged arrangement created and delivered for that special someone in your life :-)

I have been ordering flowers with Blooms & Things for the last five or six years. I grew up in Murphys and when I moved away for college I needed a way to make my mom feel special on her birthday or Mother’s Day when I couldn’t be there. I can’t express how wonderful they are and how grateful I am that Blooms & Things exists! I almost always order over the phone and they bring my vision to life, plus they deliver! We worked closely with Tammy for our October wedding. When we first met with Tammy she sat down with us and I showed her pictures of what I was looking for and also explained I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on flowers. Tammy gave suggestions and I went along with what she said. We had 6 groomsmen and bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, a ring bearer, flowers for both sets of parents, 2 grandmothers, a throw bouquet, the bride bouquet, and flowers as our center pieces for 15 tables. We were able to get all that for under 1k! And from what I hear people spend a lot more than that typically. I really had no idea what to expect but WOW. I was so impressed with our flower arrangements! I loved EVERYTHING, especially my bouquet! It was absolutely beautiful and even more than I imagined it would be. Our centerpieces were also very impressive! We decided to go with flowers inside a log and to save money we did the logs ourselves and provided them to Blooms. Thank you so much Tammy for your creativity and help in making our wedding beautiful!

The awesome gals (Vicki and Tammi) over at this florist took care to make our wedding the most special it could be! The reception centerpieces and especially my bouquet couldn’t have been more perfect and the little boutonnieres and corsages for the parents were precious! Even last minute the morning of the event I called to add fall leaves for my flower girl’s basket, Vicki took it in stride and got it done for me! I certainly hope it wasn’t an inconvenience but if it was I didn’t know it! They were so nice to work with and they really went an extra mile to make sure I was happy with everything they had delivered before they left. AND they were able to recommend a salon for wedding hair and makeup there in Murphy’s too since I was coming from out of town and wasn’t familiar with the area. I would definitely recommend the team at Blooms and Things for your floral needs!

They did my flowers for my wedding and they were perfect. They added in my bouquet inserts and bouquet wraps to all of the flowers. I couldn’t of asked for a better deal and the flowers were amazing. The guys flowers were great too!
