A2 Auto Image

I recently took my car into A2 Auto Image for detailing and I was NOT disappointed.
I have not been the nicest to the very tan interior of my 2010 Mazda 3. Since I purchased it in 2010, my seats have progressively gotten darker and darker, to the extent that I thought I would never be able to have them look nice again. Thanks to A2 Auto Image, I was wrong.
I could not be happier with the service and quality and I would highly recommend A2 Auto Image!

These folks are my new heroes.
After 5 years my car was a rolling pigsty. Crap and cruft everywhere.
I explained that I just wanted it cleaned up. They said their most basic cleaning was $ 35. After seeing the mess they tacked on another $ 15. I couldn’t argue with this at all.
They cleaned out all the crap and vacuumed the hell out the car. Bonus: they cleaned both sides of the windshield, too. They’d told me it would take about 90 minutes but it was done in, at most, an hour.
They get extra bonus points for making the appointment for the day after I called.
$ 50 was more than reasonable for all the work they did. At some near future point I’ll bring it back for the full shebang. I have no doubts they’ll do a fantastic job.

Preface: I’ve never paid for detailing previous to this. My car is generally filthy.
My sister had a recurring A/​C condenser issue that caused the carpets of her car to get soaked, repeatedly. After a year of this moisture, the car had gotten musty and was full of mold spores. With my mold allergy, I could only ride in the car with all the windows rolled down.
I took it to A2 Auto Image for a tear-​down, interior detailing, and carpet replacement. It was an expensive ordeal — $ 350 in all. But, it was absolutely worth it. The alternative for this car would have been the junkyard. That interior is sparkly clean and my nose verified that the mold is gone. They used an «ozone» treatment to clean the vents, and even did a second treatment when they thought the smell as still lingering.
Although I’m not a person who would usually pay for detailing, their work on this really bad mold and moisture issue was awesome.

I hadn’t been to A2 Auto Image but the reviews were good so I checked them earlier this month. Appointment scheduling was easy and the person on the phone was helpful.
Car drop off was easy also, although it was a little confusing as to where to go once I arrived. (If you’re facing the building from the road, the office door is on the left side)
Note — there is not a shuttle service to get you to/​from home/​work, so be prepared to have a friend drop you or to grab an Über.
When I picked up my car at the end of the day, I was disappointed to find my car covered in pollen and dust from the parking lot. I understand that things blow around outside, but if I’m spending $ 200 on a detail package, I expect my car to be spotless when I arrive. On that note, I found multiple large wax spots on my car, as well as a new scuff (that rubbed off, but still…), and various issues with the interior. (some crumbs, flecks of things, dust, etc.) And I unfortunately did not look closely at my trunk until I arrived home, but the trunk was not very clean either.
To the credit of A2 Auto Image, they bent over backwards to fix everything I pointed out when I was inspecting my vehicle. However, I ended up spending nearly an hour there for my pickup, missed an evening appointment I had as a result, and was just generally underwhelmed with the end result. (despite the fixes, which I appreciate)
Bottom line, if I’m spending that much money on my car, I expect better the first time. :\

Never will I ever again get a tan fabric interior in a car! A new pair of dark jeans in the summertime will get that seat blue in no time flat. Plus, after 3 years of on the road eats, dogs riding shot gun, and many a cup of spilled coffee the seats looked dirty and dingy. So, when it came time to turn my lease in I was afraid and ashamed to take it back to the dealership. It was just SO filthy and I knew I’d get charged for a cleaning.
I had heard good things about A2 Auto Image so I decided to get my own cleaning vs. getting a bill from the dealership and took my car here. I could not have been more thrilled with the results! It was like my car was brand new! I wished I had taken it in earlier so I could have enjoyed a clean car too. They got the seats back their pristine condition, the dashboards, touch screens, etc were all polished up like new. There wasn’t even a single piece of lint to be found on the floors. I was sad to get in and ruin the beauty!
On the outside they did a wonderful job cleaning up the tires, polishing up the paint, and buffing out a few scratches I had along the bumpers and the doors. I was SO impressed by the job. Plus the staff was courteous and my car was ready on time. A win across the board.
My new car has dark leather seats so it’s not quite as pronounced when I have spill but if I ever do, I know who to go to to take care of it!

I’ve been meaning to review A2 Auto Image since December when I had an outstanding experience there using a Groupon for «One interior and exterior elite detail package.» Usually, when I use a Groupon, I expect that the service is going to be a little worse; however, this was certainly not the case here. A2 Auto Detailing helped me schedule an appointment easily over the phone and their staff was extremely pleasant during the drop off and pick up process.
I’ve been meaning to have my car detailed for years, which should tell you a little about the state it was in. I’ve made some less than wise moves involving eating in my car, including the time when I thought I could eat salad while driving. (That didn’t end well.) So, accordingly, my cloth seats needed a thorough shampooing.
Imagine my surprise when I arrive at the end of detailing day and my car is sparkling, both inside and out. Salad dressing stains are missing from my seats, my dashboard is immaculate, and my tires and hubcaps glistened.
I have officially found my auto detailer for my years in grad school. I highly recommend them to others.

Overall, I had a great experience getting my car detailed here.
First off, I was two hours late for my appointment, due to a calendar gaffe on my part. The staff at A2 still found a way to fit me into their busy Saturday schedule. They didn’t throw any guilt my way, they simply made the best of the situation!
Secondly, the value for what you get from their Express Detail is pretty amazing. When I think detailing, I think of a $ 200 package that includes someone using a Dremel tool to wheel-​polish your car charger port.
A2 has deluxe detailing packages with all the bells and whistles, but you cannot beat what you get from the $ 35 Express Detail. For somebody like me, who drives a company car and not a Murcielago, it’s a great way to get the car spiffed up before I need to drive clients out to a data center.
Sure, there are a few things that might not be included. There were a few crumbs left in the door pockets, and my dash panels weren’t exactly glistening with protective chemicals. Yet the car was worlds apart from the condition in which I dropped it off! And besides, that’s what the deluxe packages are for, which I’ll be getting at the end of this icky winter season.
The Express package is a great way to keep your vehicle at a steady level of cleanliness throughout the year, and maintain the results from a Deluxe detailing package.

I went in a few weeks ago and had the interior and exterior elite detail package done on my car. I showed up about an hour late for the drop off time and neglected to call and let them know I would be late. Thankfully the woman working in the office was very kind and offered to squeeze me in even though that had already taken in another car in my place.
When I picked up my car it looked great. Everything inside had been wiped down and vacuumed and the seats had been cleaned. The exterior was clean and shiny. I would definitely recommend the detailing service to others.

The receptionist is so nice. Best service I’ve had in ages!!! That, alone, will make me want to go back.
