The mission of the Ann Arbor Area Chamber of Commerce is to support our members by promoting commerce in the greater Ann Arbor area through business advocacy and leadership in economic, political and educational development. The vision of the Chamber is to be an organization that will effect positive change to ensure a sustainable economic, social and a natural environment for current and future generations. The Chamber provides businesses with low cost marketing, advocacy and networking opportunities.

History

Established in 1919.

The ann arbor area chamber of commerce is the largest business advocacy organization in Washtenaw County with more than 1,400 members, 12 staff, 13 committees and task forces and more than 200 volunteers. The Chamber is run by a Board of Directors made up of 19 business people, representing nearly all segments of the economy. The Chamber has been serving its members and the Ann Arbor Area since 1919.
