Branch Hill Joinery offers affordable custom cabinets and furniture made by Amish right here in Michigan. Using solid local woods with non-​toxic finishes, and American made hardware components, our fine furniture and cabinetry display extraordinary quality. Our specialities include casework with clean lines and pleasing proportions that include Shaker, Craftsman Mission, Traditional and Modern styles.

I have been working with a selective group of MIchigan Amish craftsmen for over 18 years to share this amazing craftsmanship with ordinary people. Since we do not have a fancy expensive showroom, our costs to you are significantly lower than even semi-​custom cabinetry. We offer a full range of design services as well.

History

Established in 1995.

In 1995, I teamed up with an extremely talented Amish cabinet and furniture maker and Branch Hill Joinery began. I bought a small farm nearby and together we built a wood shop suitable for production work. The family still does the majority of the construction work right at their own farm workshop, thus preserving their rural lifestyle and traditional use of hand tools.

Living in Amish farm country, we naturally live closely with the environment. Here, we are dedicated to building high quality, custom Amish furniture and cabinets using solid woods along with traditional construction methods and old-​fashioned hand tools. Whenever possible, we utilize sustainable locally harvested wood and non-​toxic finishes that are comprised of natural oils.
