Diamond Factory of Ann Arbor

A month ago, we walked into Diamond Factory on a Sunday and were greeted by the wonderful staff, and referred to Raffi, one of the custom ring designers there. We worked with him to design a custom ring to go with the diamond I had from my parents. The process was easy, comfortable, and fun! Raffi made a gorgeous design and was incredibly patient with us as we asked for modifications to the design to see what it would ultimately look like. One month after we first walked into the store, and just 2 weeks from when we finalized the design, they called us to let us know the ring was ready! The finished product looks exactly like the rendering we agreed to, and we couldn’t be happier. We will definitely be going back for custom wedding bands!

Incredible service. Impeccable jewelry of the utmost quality. Quick turnaround on custom jewelry. They will work with your price range and are never pushy. Vic will custom make you anything and I mean ANYTHING. He is a stellar jewelry guy with a great business. There’s a reason why when you go to Briarwood Mall, the retail chains like Kay and others are empty and Vic’s place is bumping with action. I would post a pic of my ring but I don’t want anyone stealing the design that he and my husband came up with together… suffice it to say, it’s a delicate beauty with a perfectly cut diamond. If you’re looking to buy your gal a beautiful and unique ring, do not take a chance going anywhere else. Go to Vic with an idea and he will fly with it. And your gal will be over the moon!

I looked all around the mall for a place that replaces batteries for Coach and Michael Kors. The place I bought the watches all had to send them out to not return for two weeks.
I walked into Diamond Factor on my way out of the mall, fully expecting to be let down again, only for the nice man behind the counter to say, sure it’ll be done in 20 minutes!
May be silly but made my day! Going there from now on!

I can’t say enough good things about the guys at Diamond Factory. They worked with us to build me my dream engagement ring and wedding band. I get so many compliments from friends who have severe «ring envy».
We have since gone back for my fiancé’s band and wedding gifts. They always remember us and offer many options in order to make sure we are more than satisfied with our choices.

Update: Since getting engaged I have been to the Diamond Factory several times for cleaning as well as a repair to a piece of jewelry I own. Raffi and Victor knew me instantly– without knowing or meeting me– they saw my ring and knew who I was! I cannot stress enough how ridiculously nice these guys are. Seriously.
Go here people. I have gotten over 100 compliments on my ring… that is not an exaggeration… my ring is also the shiniest and most sparkly of all of my friends. Seriously, I cannot get over how gorgeous it is. Victor and Raffi’s work is unparalleled.

I don’t even know where to start! I started looking for jewelers that carried a certain collection of engagement rings so that my boyfriend and I could take a look and see if it was something that we liked. The diamond factory just so happened to carry this line. We came started looking at the collection with VICTOR and he was more then helpful, he was pulling rings left and right to get my taste down. They didn’t have exactly what I was looking for so they ordered 4 rings not 1 but 4 sample rings for me and my boyfriend to come back to look at knowing my taste.

Don’t be deterred by its location in the mall — this place has the best customer service of the dozen jewelry shops or so I visited for a custom engagement ring. Craftsmanship is great and they truly stand by their work. We’re going to continue using this location for many more items in the future.

Don’t let its name or mall location fool you – this is a damn good jewelry store. My fella got my engagement ring here and I am in love. It’s a custom job made by them so it’s unique and totally to my taste. I can’t tell you how many compliments I get on it. It’s not huge or flashy but sparkly, delicate, and vintage looking. Way more my speed. And I’m not the only one who thinks that. It elicited many squeals from the ladies at my hair salon.
In particular he worked with Raffi who is just a pleasure. The sweetest, most helpful guy. I went in a few months prior to scope the scene and give mah boo some ideas and he was so great to work with. No pressure, no upsell, just great customer service. After the proposal we went in to show him how it looked on and he was so sweet and congratulatory.
Good prices and fantastic quality to boot. We’ll DEFINITELY be back for our wedding rings.

Vic is AMAZING and truely provides the BEST customer service. I am so happy with my custom ring and will never shop with a different jeweler especially when he can make anything that I want! If you are looking for great service, and someone you can trust I 100 percent recommend Vic and his team.

I found Diamond Factory on Unilocal when I need to get my fiances engagement ring re-​sized. After being quoted a week at a «Chain Jewelry Store» (My fiancé did not want to part with the ring for that long) we went to Diamond Factory. The ring I had was very old and needed a good cleaning as well. Victor was very helpful and informative and even went the extra mile to do more cleaning than he said he was going to do at no cost! He really put us at ease. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone. When its time for our weeding bands this is where we will be going.

If you want excellent quality coupled with outstanding customer service, then look no further than The Diamond Factory of Ann Arbor. We have purchased 3 watches and wedding bands (designed by Vic) here. The quality and the customer service are second to none. I will not even entertain the idea of looking elsewhere. This place just feels like «home» to me when I’m buying/​repairing jewelry.
As other commenters have noted, Vic stands by his work. He also offers FREE LIFETIME battery replacements for watches purchased at his location. I’ve had to replace a battery in a Movado watch and tried to pay him, but he kindly refused.
Vic and his staff also do custom work. So if you have an idea, bring it to him. He is amazing and can do anything. Trust me, you won’t go wrong if you go see Vic and his staff. What a breath of fresh air in a big box store world.

I got my Tissot watch buckle changed here because it was 3 years old already. I found out about the Diamond Factory because I searched on the Tissot website for authorized dealers. In the end, I spent $ 50 for labor and parts. It took about two weeks in total: one week for the estimate and another week for the actual replacement. Raffi and team gave great customer service.

Best place in Ann Arbor! We didn’t get our wedding bands here but Raffi was willing to help us check out the ring we were trying to buy to see if it was good or not. We ended up going with the ring where we got the engagement ring, but best customer service ever!
Cleaned the rings everytime we come in. Ended up getting rings engraved here!

I wont by diamond jewelry anywhere else. i bought my wife and my wedding rings here and got an awesome deal and great service. Victor is an awesome guy and made my wifes ring, she is always getting compliments on it, i just ordered another ring and cant wait to get it. Victor guarantees his work for life also, any issues at all he fixes it, no questions asked.

My husband purchased my custom designed gorgeous engagement ring from the Diamond Factory. I go in every month or so to have it cleaned and they are always so kind. I liked them so much I purchased my husbands wedding ring from there as well as a Tissot watch (a wedding gift to myself) and a chain for my husband.
They have great staff, a wonderful selection of rings, watches, chains, necklaces, earings, etc.
I highly recommend this store if you a looking for beautiful, high quality piece of jewelry!

I purchased my engagement ring recently through The Diamond Factory and couldn’t be happier with the result. Victor (as mentioned in other posts) was extremely helpful with the whole process. He listened to every request and detail. We are very proud of the ring he produced (made entirely by Victor in house!), couldn’t be happier. We will certainly return to purchase our wedding bands here as well. I could not recommend more highly!

Hands down the best place you can go for your jewelry needs. Victor is friendly, professional, and will go above and beyond to make sure that you are satisfied.
After going to 6 other jewelry stores I eagerly ended up here (after reading the positive reviews). I wanted to save the best for last and they didn’t disappoint!
After seeing the same boring engagement rings at the major chain stores and hearing sleezy sales pitches (claiming they have just what I’m looking for or something that blows away the competition, yet being able to see the imperfections with my naked eye) I had become quite exhausted.
This store was a breathe of fresh air when dealing with Victor who was not pushy at all (something a good salesman can appreciate) and really took the time to hear what it is that I wanted for my fiancé.
After finding a custom ring that was perfect he had to order the main stone from their California location and set it in a time crunch (as I was leaving for London with my fiancé and surprise her with the proposal).
After offering to pay him extra money on top of the price we agreed upon (which was much better than the competition) he refused and just ask that I write about my experience.
So here it is. You can’t go wrong with Vic, he is a stand up guy. Thanks for making our special day perfect thanks to your hard work and special talent.

It is really difficult to find a good jeweler… especially if you find yourself looking for an engagement ring. After looking at all the standard online stores and brick and mortar stores around town, I am happy I made my purchase through Victor and the diamond factory. Not only did I get exactly what I wanted but I got it for an incredible price (way better then online and incredible quality).

What a great experience at this jewelry store. Victor the jeweler is amazing and so knowledgable. He was helpful from the first day I walked in the store to just get an idea of what I wanted for my engagement ring. He told me he could design or alter a design to what I really wanted. He even switch a gem within an hr on one of my ring when no one in town was going to do it. He rocks at what he is doing! You will love your experience at the diamond factory.
