Opened in 1985, Divers Incorporated offers the whole family easy access to the underwater world, and the adventure of nautical related activities through scuba diving, aquarium visits and and other travel. Divers Incorporated provides you with trained professionals who are knowledgeable in many aspects of underwater recreation and who love to dive. Located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Divers Incorporated has been one of the top PADI 5-​Star Instructor Development Centers in Michigan specializing in all levels of instruction from beginner to instructor. In April 2004, Divers Incorporated changed owners and it has been smooth sailing ever since. In 2007, Divers Incorporated took over management of the Scuba Concession at White Star Quarry, giving back to the community through this awesome recreational facility.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

In 1988, Rich Synowiec began his career in the diving industry. Needing a summer job, he began work as a stock boy for a local dive shop and discovered that he had a knack for selling and built his understanding of the Diving Industry. In 1990, Rich took his Instructor Development course from Richard Roost, the founder of Divers Incorporated. In 1993, Rich left the dive shop to focus his time on college, continuing to teach scuba independently and working part time at a resort. Rich Graduated from College with a BA in Management and Organizational Development. In 2004 Rich purchased Divers Incorporated. Rich spends much of his time on his business, with his wife and twin daughters, and with his life’s passion, scuba diving. While he has been in the business 20 years, on his days off he still goes diving.
