We ate here for lunch on a sunny afternoon. Unfortunately the upper patio was not open but we got a seat outside. There were only about five tables by the sidewalk but it was nice. They had a few interesting vegetarian options like a tofu sandwhich but I opted for the potato pizza and asked for no bacon. It was a bit oily but I think olive oil was a listed ingredient so that was how it was supposed to be. I also had the fruit tart for dessert which was delicious! The waitress was also very attentive and timely. I would go again in the evening to eat on the upstairs patio.

Go Blue! My partner and I, UM alums of long-long standing, have traveled from Chicago(home now for a long time) and Detroit(home before UM). Over the years, we’ve haunted our college-day spots and visited restaurants that have sprung up or now are affordable. Of course, as time goes on, certain menu items are not to be consumed(usually)(no alcohol with new meds, whoever thought?). So on our last stop, we Unilocaled and saw this as a new spot to us. We ate upstairs at the very pleasant patio on a sunny late Spring day. We ordered an Asian Layered Salad(shared), the JP Burger with gluten free bun(partner), and the Truffle pizza(my choice). All items were top-notch although I might have liked the salad with a little more punch. The truffle pizza, my choice, was perfect! – the crust was chewy, slightly crunchy and combined with the truffle and mushrooms in a heavenly way. Of course, we wisely only ate portions of our meal and took the rest home with us. As I look back at the A2 spot as a grizzled UM grad, I laugh thinking of how I’d have devoured the beer list and munched all the pizza. Not so now, but. .. I am forming a strategy to overcome current restrictions. This is a place that inspires such thoughts!

Stopped for dinner on our way through Ann Arbor. Ordered the Carnivores Pizza($ 14) and the Halibut Cheeks with Asparagus and Purple Potatoes($ 23). The pizza was very good, had the right amount of meat and cheese. The crust was thin and crisp. Maybe a little too salty. The Halibut included 3 cheeks. Was sposed to have a ginger/orange flaver, but it was so mild(bland) that we couldn’t detect any. The asparagus was grilled, but overdone for our taste. The potatoes tasted like yesterdays. The dish was a little greasy. Marshall, our server, explained the specials and answered our questions. The food was delivered fairly quickly and hot. He was a little too attentive while pacing behind us to see if our plates were empty. We may have been his only table. Better than forgetting us for sure. Would definitely return for the pizza. The halibut, not so much!

There are lots of brew pubs in my town and most are really good. Jolly Pumpkin would be competitive in comparison. These are the sort of places that take a while for me to bond with, but if I lived here, I would try a few times to decide. On a one shot deal on vacation, it was good. The style of the place was pretty standard. The hit of the menu for me was the nacho plate. A little different, fried flour tortilla chips rather than corn, chock full of ingredients, and ample enough for the four of us. I ate so much, it took the edge off of the rest of the plates. I’d love to go back and try the lamb burger again as a stand alone entrée. It had lots of flavor, cooked just right but way too big for me for the occasion. My house cider was a bit too sour for me, though I prefer that rather than too sweet. I would have liked it colder and a little fizzy. The last treat was the dessert, not that I really had room. But the recommendation of our hosts was to try the house specialty, the fried ricotta balls. They were great. It’s really a batter with ricotta in it, reminiscent of churros. One plate was sufficient to give us all a taste, as we had just ordered too much all around the table. Go, enjoy it all, especially if you don’t regularly get good brewpub food.

My husband and I really enjoyed our experience at the Jolly Pumpkin Café. We were initially going to sit inside at the bar, but the host suggested that we try the rooftop seating area. A table was immediately available so we decided to sit up there. It was the perfect night and the setup on the roof is cute and modern. We were seated under a pergola. We didn’t arrive until about 7 p.m., so there wasn’t much in the way of sun at that point. They’re beer list had quite a few updates, so what we had initially decided on before our server came needed a little adjusting once she provided the updates. We shared a bottle of the No Ka Oi to start. It was crisp, dry, and refreshing for the warm night. We were in a nacho and pizza kind of mood, so that’s what we went with. The red chicken nachos were great. The chips seemed to be homemade out of friend tortillas, so they were thick and had a nice crunch. The nachos were topped with a number of things, including a green sauce, plenty of black bean, pickled red onion, cheese and chicken. They did a good job of layering the nachos, so even at the bottom we weren’t pulling any duds. The nachos were pretty filling, though I there was less chicken than I was expecting. If you were vegetarian, I could see getting the nachos without the chicken and being more than satisfied. We went for the market pizza, which is their«of the moment» creation. Our pizza included candied pineapple, ham, green and jalapeño peppers, a chipotle sauce, black seasame seeds, and house-made mozzarella. It sounds weird, but it was actually pretty good. I liked th combo of the sweet and smokey/salty. I was initially worried that the candied pineapple would be too much, but they weren’t heavy-handed with it, so it tasted great. The crust was apparently made from 100-year-old sourdough starter, and it was good, but I didn’t pick up on much sourdough flavor. The crust had some char and a nice bite. I also have to say, our server was great. Very pleasant and knowledgable. I asked her what was on the market pizza twice, and despite the long list of ingredients, I didn’t even sense a hint of annoyance(and there were a lot of ingredients). She also kept our water filled and checked back just the right amount. One note(and maybe a reason for a four instead of a five along with the somewhat outdated beer menu) is that I think that rooftop patio, particularly the back, right corner is near a dumpster. Every once in a while I smelled a little bit of a foul trash smell. I think the wind was moving enough that it wasn’t pervasive, but be aware, especially in that back corner(we weren’t seated there, but I believe one group asked to be moved). It didn’t ruin our evening, but I’d be aware of it. There’s plenty of seating inside if you want to enjoy a good experience without taking a chance.

I had BLT sandwich, sided with truffle fries and archangel beer. The truffle fries were absolutely outstanding like everyone mentioned on Unilocal. The BLT sandwich was more on the greasy side but I enjoyed the fact that they added roasted tomatoes to increase the complicity. As to archangel, it’s most certainly one of the kind. I’m glad that I came here for dinner; otherwise, I wouldn’t have had the chance to try out the seasonal cherry-brewed beer. That one thing you simply can’t have at home.

This 5 stars goes specifically to the beer. Always been a fan of any beer of theirs I could get my hands on, but living in southern Ohio that hasn’t been much. Finally found myself in Ann Arbor so I had to try them all and got 8 different beers while I was there(6 of which were in a flight). Of the 8 there wasn’t a single one I didn’t like and three or four stood out as exceptional. I love what they do with sours. It’s such a new style but this brewery has been doing it, and doing it well, long before it started to get popular recently. If you like sour beers you’ll love jolly pumpkin. Also if you haven’t tried one before, this is the place to do it. I will say if you want a variety of dinner options, this isn’t the place. It’s more about the beer but they do have some great sandwich options to soak up your brews. My lamb burger with egg and spinach was awesome, just wish they had more to pick from.

I walked into the Jolly Pumpkin this past Saturday and was FLOORED by the good-looking hosts! After regaining my composure, I was led to a nice, secluded booth that worked as a sort of barrier for the high noise level. Our waitress came by in less than a minute and gave us a little overview of the place – they specialize in Belgian-style sours, and have a Portland-esque specials menu with featured local farms at the bottom. I went with the IO Fried Chicken with Orzo Mac n Cheese with some truffle fries to start and a Luciernaga, and never looked back. The truffle fries are phenomenal. They come in a fancy cone and I would literally die for a vat of that rosemary aioli. The beer, Luciernaga, was excellent. As a sour pale ale, it complimented the saltiness of my appetizer nicely and its complex flavor(and name!) was very impressive. I also appreciated that the waitress carded me(this is a college town, after all!). I ordered a couple more. The entrée put Ina Garten to shame. The creamy orzo was an inventive, decadent(and maybe healthy?) take on mac and cheese, the crispy chicken was a delight, and the brussel sprouts made me feel justified in ordering such a rich meal. Compliments to the chef, Jolly Pumpkin! And the brewer! Hosts, feel free to message me for my number!

I’m so sad that I didn’t come to Jolly Pumpkin while studying at U of M. Then again, I was living that broke college student life and rarely ventured to Main Street. Before I start my actual review, I will also refer you to Kaitlin M’s review of Jolly Pumpkin. We went together and shared similar experiences! I love-love-loved everything I got. We started out with the famed truffle fries. They were super crunchy and so great. Additionally, we got the mussels for appetizers. They were generous with the portion of mussels and the price was very reasonable. For my entire, I got a burger, even though everything else on the menu including pizza looked really great. It was a giant burger and delicious. Since I already had truffle fries, I opted for the house salad. It’s nice that they have choices for sides! The beer menu is quite large. I ordered an IPA, which of course, no one else likes but me. I really like their selection and they do a good job describing each beer.

Good craft beer and food in downtown A2. While I don’t venture out to Jolly Pumpkin that often, when I do go, I’m never disappointed. Aside from Ann Arbor, they have a location in Detroit(where President Obama went into) and one in Traverse City«up north» in Michigan. I’ve heard the other two places are great. The one in Ann Arbor is right on Main St. in the heart of the action of downtown Ann Arbor. It’s a pretty cool space with industrial design, upstairs and downstairs and an upstairs terrace that is fantastic to hang out on in the summer when it’s warm. I’m not a big beer drinker, but their cocktails are delicious! My favorite is their Blackbird which is Michigan-made gin infused with blackberries and a thyme simple syrup. Very unique flavor combo and very refreshing. I do like their vanilla old fashioned, but it’s a little on the sweeter side than I prefer. The go-to menu items for me are the truffle fries. SOGOOD. Perfect for sharing or perfect alongside your meal. JUSTTRYTHEM. They usually have a nice amount of vegetarian options and some of them can even be made vegan if requested. My new go-to is their season shaved vegetables salad. They used to have a menu item with smoked shiitake mushrooms, but have since removed it from their menu. Bottom line: this place is great! Not a place I choose as my first go-to place to eat, but it’s definitely delicious when you do go!

Always make it a point to stop here while passing through town. They have some of the best sour beers around and also some of the best mixed drinks! The food is great, too! Can’t wait to come back!

Their beer club mugs are awesome! Each one is hand crafted individually and hung up for display just above the bar! Almost wanted to buy one just to keep for myself. Anyways, stopped here for a round of beers. The food passing by did look excellent, but wasn’t hungry and came by for a beer after a long day of work. I tried their Diabolical IPA on tap by North Peak Brewing Co and it was delicious! I’m totally feeling the beer scene out in Michigan. If I ever have the chance to be back in the area, I’ll definitely want to come back to try their food! ‘Til next time, cheers!

Listen up. Last night was my first time here. We get seated by a dark&handsome host(+1 for diversity) with a button down shirt with a bird pattern. Could’ve shown more chest by unbuttoning one more button. 6⁄10. Then our waiter immediately came to us(+1.5 for speed) and told us in intricate detail about the ales which we were unable to purchase due to age(-.5 for broken laws). We ordered our food and it came out in reasonable timing. The potato pizza was thin. It had potatoes(+1 for honest menu description), bacon bits, and cheese. There was also an unidentifiable sauce. This sauce smelled as if you mixed foot juice and goat milk in a musty garage for 2 years in the heat of the firey sun. 0⁄10 for the sauce. 8⁄10 for the pizza. The lamb burger was so moist that I would’ve been aroused while eating it even if I watched Donald trump feeding Ted Cruz(the zodiac killer –5,000) grapes in a Greek robe. It tasted fresh. Like from a small rural village in the mystical mountains in the countryside of China where their only income is from growing lambs, delicately killing them for meat, and shipping them off to specifically the jolly pumpkin, Ann Arbor, MI48104 for the lamb burgers. 10⁄10. The atmosphere included people who probably asked if the eggs/meat were organic. They probably told the host/waiter that they are vegan. They probably make their juices. They probably go on juice cleanses every week. They are the kind of people to eat kale. 1⁄10. In conclusion, the jolly pumpkin was great. Their food reminded me of waking up in the forest(earthy), glistening in sweat and wondering where my pants are, yet still knowing deep inside that everything is as it should be. Everything is relative. What even is food if you think about it? With that in mind, I highly recommend the jolly pumpkin. I leave you with this quote: «everyone leaves. Even your shadow leaves you in the darkness.» –Unknown

Dear Unilocalers, we will have to agree to disagree on this one. It was a series of hits and misses. Let’s talk about the good. The Café is roomy and comfortable which is a refreshing break from A2’s habit of trying to pack them in. Service was good although it helps if the servers kind of know something about the beer in a place that specializes in beer. Otherwise, she was dynamite. Food taste and quality was decent however, this straddles both review categories. Kid pricing was reasonable. The not so good is that this place is damn expensive. My Cobb Salad was $ 12.00 and my wife’s Grilled Chicken Sandwich was also $ 12.00. Now a salad that costs $ 12.00 better be Ellaine Benes kind of huge or it better come with craft ingredients. I hardly call mixed salad greens a significant upgrade. It’s a Cobb, so I expected it to decked out but it was rather conservative all-around but absolutely get the buttermilk dressing. Also, the chicken sandwich was just that, a piece of grilled chicken breast on sourdough. For $ 12.00, that better be a chicken raised on a local organic, hippy commune from a select rare breed. These were lunch prices mind you. Now keep in mind, my son ordered the beef tacos while my daughter ordered the cheese pizza. They said that kids were 50% off. Only the pizza was half-off while the tacos were merely discounted. Cheese was an extra charge. Back to being expensive. Beer here hits $ 7 – 8 a glass. Soft beverages have hit the $ 3.00 mark here — OUCH. My kids’ lemonades were $ 6.00 combined. Outrageous because they can’t drink beer. This is a woodshed whipping when it comes to pricing. The house specializes in Ales but I opted for the North Peak Chocolate Stout. It lacked any kind of maltiness and full body. Actually, it was kind of watery. While that may make it easy to drink, I prefer a more robust stout and turned the beverage back. Instead of having my server guess, she was clearly not a craft beer drinker, I opted to visit the bar and the kind bartender took it from there. He let me try a French Ale which tasted like a really bitter switchel, so I declined. He let me try another ale that just did nothing for me. I’m not a sour beer man. However, while educating as this experience was, I did find a North Peak Humongous American Red Ale, which is like a more full-bodied IPA, more to my liking. They only charged me $ 5.00 for a small pint. I came here. I tried it. I’ve seen enough. Arbor Brewing Company is more my speed. Lunch for 2 adults and 2 kids was $ 55.00 w/o tip.

I ordered the Blackened Mahi Mahi. The plantain crisp was perfect — well season, thin and crispy. The presentation was a bit sloppy, but that was only a minor issue compared to the overall dish. The spiciness of the fish was overwhelming, and was not well complemented by the mushy plantain bits, and excessive pineapple. The dish was oddly paired with purple potatoes and roast zucchini. The potatoes and zucchini were both cooked well, but did not seem to fit the tropical attempt with the Mahi Mahi. Truly, the only part of the dish I enjoyed were the potatoes, zucchini, and plantain crisp. The fish left much to be desired. The waitstaff was impressive in their responsiveness and presence, and make the Jolly Pumpkin worth another try.

After hearing so much about their truffle fries, I had to come try them out and holy cow are they good! Between the three of us we easily and quickly got through the whole appetizer. They are addictive! And the aoli that comes with it is to die for. We also got the mussels appetizer, which came in a delicious sauce. I also got a ginger beer, which is just a much less sweetened version of ginger ale — so refreshing! For dinner I ordered one of their current specials, which was a maple glazed pork chop with garlic mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus. I usually don’t even care for asparagus, but this was AMAZING. I wish I could eat it for the rest of my life! It was roasted until the ends were crispy and had a wonderful flavor. The porkchop had a great flavor and wasn’t even a bit try, though I think it may have been a bit heavy on the pepper for my tastes. The service was super quick and we were even seated much sooner than our anticipated wait time. I thought the restaurant was really cool aesthetically, with a ton of family portraits and old vintage photos on the walls. Would definitely love to eat here again!

We’ve always loved this place. The food has always been outstanding, but the beer is terrible. So we knew that going in, we just wanted some good food and we’d find some place else for drinks after. Well let me say the food is not what it used to be. My tofu sandwich was pretty pricey for a. no flavor(supposed to be chile marinated tofu, which it wasn’t) and b. the kimchi juices soaked through the bottom of the bread so the bottom half of the sandwich was a soggy mess. I ended up picking at it with a fork. Terrible. Then when I politely asked to use a discount on an app featuring discounts for local places with locally sourced food, you would have though I had asked for the entire meal to be comped. A manager came over and spoke down to me, and 15 minutes later sent the waitress over to say sorry, that’s the Detroit location only. Ok no biggie my bad but you didn’t have to make me feel like I was being a jerk for inquiring. Sorry to inconvenience you. I didn’t care for the waitress at all, the management, or the food. I already knew the beer wasn’t great. Now it’s just all bad, and at even worse prices. Bah.

While the food was good, it feels slightly lacking. The problem seems to stem from 2 things, the ingredients and how they were cooked. I had the lamb burger and also shared some of the market pizza. The lamb burger was confused. It has good taste and clearly good intentions, but, egg and garlic spinach don’t mix. At all! It was also noticeably greasy, it didn’t help that it was quickly soaked up by the bun. I also had the market pizza, and it was bad. The pizza is basically described in the menu as «whatever we could find that was capable of human consumption». It was incredibly salty and the toppings seemed random and they didn’t work together to create a great pizza. Overall it’s ok for food. But I would recommend somewhere else.

Get the fried chicken and Mac and cheese orzo. Come back here and thank me when your life is changed. Not much more to say other than the drinks are great(very imaginative and the food and pizza rocks. I go between the chicken and the pizzas. Both are great, but they have the BEST fried chicken that I’ve had in Ann Arbor period. And that’s saying a lot… I’m not afraid to say I do really like fried chicken, and I appreciate the soft on the inside crispy on the outside drizzled with honey method that they use. The Brussel Sprouts and orzo Mac and cheese are also nice touches, and you get a hefty amount without being too full. I keep meaning to come back for their craft beers, but there’s so much competition for that in Ann Arbor, I’ll stick with the core.

I came in wanting a burger, but left raving about the pizza. The five stars is for the pizza, as everything else was fairly average. We got a JP Burger with truffle french fries(substituted for the normal fries) and a Truffle pizza. Just so you know what to get, this is their description of it, «creamed shiitake mushrooms, goat cheese, parmesan and housemade mozzarella cheeses, truffle oil and arugula dressed with red wine vinaigrette.($ 12)» They say on their menu that they use a 100 year old starter for their sourdough crust. Hearing that makes it even better. Even if it’s not true, it’s a delicious pizza. The portion is also really great for the price. I ate half the pizza and didn’t have room for much more. Even my boyfriend who can eat enormous portions decided to get half the burger to-go. The burger was ok, a pretty average burger. For dessert, we tried the Vegan Chocolate Cake that comes with a scoop of coconut ice cream. It was also ok, but I’ve had better vegan chocolate cake. At any rate, I’m planning to come back and get the Truffle pizza again.

This is a pretty cool place. Came here with a couple of people after a show last night. There is an excellent craft beer and cocktail selection. I had one of their regular draft beers, the Bam Biere. It was excellent. A bit sour, but I like that kind of beer. I had the BLT with truffle fries. Both were excellently prepared and tasted delicious. The truffle oil really adds some great taste to the fries. To wrap it up, this place is very«Ann Arbor», but that’s OK. It’s a great place to do and I highly recommend it.

Now hear me out people, hear me out. I have adored Jolly Pumpkin since I moved here about three years ago. The last two times I went however, I was not impressed and it’s quite upsetting because it was one of the few places on Main Street that was a go-to of mine. Back in the summer, I had an open day, which is not normal but was oh, so appreciated and so I decided to go visit one of my favorite place JP and have a burger. I had recently made the transition to gluten-free(GF) and heard that they had GF buns for their burgers. All of a sudden, burgers were back in my repertoire and I was so excited. At the time a new waitress had started under the guidance of a more seasoned one, so I made sure to not order too fast or give her too much to think about. I order the truffle fries(DUH) and a GFJP Burger. I made sure to be very explicit about my need for a GF bun. Upon the arrival of my food, I spotted the delicious bun sitting atop my burger, a delicious, authentic looking bun for my JP Burger *swoons*. Only it smelled too authentic, too delicious. Lo’ and behold, it was a not a GF bun, not that the GF bun was bad, but I know real bread. I love it and can no longer eat it, so I know what it looks like. I had to take my food to the host and ask that they change it and so with a new burger and bun and additional fries, they corrected their mistake. At this point, however, more than half-an-hour into being there, and tight for time, I had to rush through my meal. This was disappointing, because I was politely assertive about my needs and for those who have these kinds of illnesses, it’s just really important that their concerns be taken seriously. I love the restaurant, the vibe, the people EVEN, but certain things have to be taken seriously. This is not a trend for everyone. This is trying to strike a balance between being seriously ill, but wanting to enjoy life and a good meal(occasionally). The next time I went, there were NO truffle fries, and I feel like they should have the whole state of Idaho(residents included) in their freezer, because people love those fries. Needless to say I was devastated. The food is good, great sometimes even, but I’m wary now. You know?

Ate here recently and had their best selling burger(sorry, forget the name). I asked them to hold the mushrooms, but the burger came out loaded with mushrooms. No big deal, the bartender apologized and I just picked them off. The burger itself however had an insanely char-broiled taste to it. I know, usually char-broiled burgers are delicious — but the char-broil taste was so overpowering it actually was a bit sickening and totally wiped out any of the other flavors of the burger. I understand that their meat is of high quality, but if it’s not cooked correctly — the burger is ruined. On the positive note, their meat and cheese plate with bread and olives is amazing. I will return here again for that alone.

Came here for lunch with a group of 15 people. We made a reservation and were seated immediately. It was very busy during lunch. I had the basil limeade and the fire and smoke pizza. The basil limeade was amazing. The fire and smoke pizza was just okay. Not something I would order again. Shared an appetizer of truffle fries. Much better than the pizzas

We had a great pre-UM basketball game meal here on the 22nd. I had a great sour beer(I can’t remember which one) and a delightful lamb burger. My 3 friends were also pleased with their meals though I can’t remember what they were, except the steak frites, which came with 1000 fries.

The Jolly Pumpkin is a hipster-haven gastropub simply oozing with coolness. For brews, I started out with the Bam Noire which is like drinking from the holy grail if you are a dark and bitter beer lover like myself. I sampled a few others, but the Noire was was undoubtedly stuck out in my mind at the end of our visit. The food was top notch. After much debate, I ended up settling on the walleye po boy. It was served with vegetable chowchow, house-made chili mayonnaise, and a zucchini pickle. It was really good, albeit on the greasy side. The fish, while incredibly crispy, still drenched my entire sandwich and ended up making for a big mess. I normally love greasy food, but I wasn’t really feeling it this time around. What stole the show was in fact The potato pizza with truffle oil and bacon. We finished the whole thing, and contemplated getting another! (Sorry about the poor quality photos — there was little to no light in the dining areas!)

Ann Arbor is definitely a college town, so many of the restaurants have that sports bar feel. Which isn’t my favorite, but this menu made up for it. Their truffle pizza was divine! The gorgonzola was generous, as was the arugula on top. I must admit I ate the leftovers the next day COLD. It was that good. We ordered a basket of fries beforehand. They are the fresh, crispy kind, yes! Meanwhile, I’ve always been a little repulsed by the English who eat mayo with their fries… until now haha. Whatever the side of seasoned mayonnaise is that comes with the fries — well, you NEED to get on board with eating this and the fries together.

One of the best French fries I have ever had. This beats the Belgium style street fries in Amsterdam because of its added flavor and dipping(it’s a sin to compare the real Belgium fries anyways). No ketchup necessary here! The beers were all too tangy for my taste, but plenty of customers were love theirs beers, but I preferred a pineapple cocktail that was amazing anyways!

When business brought me within 3 miles of a Jolly Pumpkin location, I was pretty happy. I have enjoyed many of their offerings over the years but was hyped to get the ontap experience. I stuck to the beers I could not get back outside of the tap room and was thoroughly happy and buzzed by the time I left … in an Über. The bartender was on point as he suggested a few beers I probably would not have tried otherwise. One thing that caught me off guard was not only do they carry a ton of JP beers but they have other MI beers on tap as well. So if sours or JP is not your thing, there are plenty of choices at the Ann Arbor location. If you’re even kind of into beers, this is a must do. Jolly Pumpkin is a top notch brewery with top notch service at the Brewery.

What an awesome place. From the name of the brewery/café to the décor and beers. Was lucky enough to have my cousin(local) show us around Ann Arbor since we were in town. Ive had a couple beers from jolly pumpkin in SD and it was a nice experience to come to their café/brewery. Atmosphere: Came here during lunch on a Friday and it wasn’t so busy surrounded by other restaurants in a busy college area. Jolly Pumpkin’s entrance was somewhat of a speakeasy sense. Small entrance but upon walking in you come to a place with a great vibe and café feel. Food: had eatin’ prior for lunch to coming here but had a chance to snack on the truffle fries amongst my group. Fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly with salt & rosemary aioli. Beer: Rozilla: sour(my favorite). tarty and refreshing taste. a nice sour bite that leaves your tongue wanting more. Luciernaga: sour. not as tart as the Rozilla but can taste a suttleness in it and has a sweeter finish to it. my fiancée’: had a flight of tasters to try. i remember trying her chocolate stout. it has a nice milky arouma of coffee but the taste was so-so. They also have signature cocktails hence which I mentioned had some speakeasy feel about this place. Didn’t get a chance to try any but will hope so when I come back to visit. Service: was good. we had a server that was brand new and didn’t know much about beer but her lead knew her stuff. Overall: a fan of the place. tasty fries. great beers. an awesome place to hangout with a group. will definetly come back when I come to visit my mom’s side of the family in Michigan.

Had the truffle pizza and a meat combo. They were both very good. Has a very good atmosphere and good wine selection for a pizza place. I would come back.
