Specialties
I help high school students get ready for the verbal SATs and write their college essays. I also teach kids who need help with English, reading, and writing, K-12. I’m a UChicago grad with 15 years of teaching experience, and program director at the Family Learning Institute.
History
Established in 2012.
Lesemann Learning was founded by Amy Lesemann, a University of Chicago graduate and a certified teacher with an MA in reading and a reading specialist license. She has 15 years of teaching experience in elementary, middle and honors literature classes in high school. She loves teaching, and especially loves teaching reading and writing. Students learn to write easily and well, and to actually enjoy what they’re doing. Amy is also helping students get ready for SAT and ACT exams. She loves teaching, and that’s where Lesemann Learning’s motto comes from: Learn Better. Learn Happier.
