He gave me prompt service at a great discount. I had to change the front headlight of my 2008 Pontiac G6 which entails taking off the entire front bumper. Other locations quoted me at 129 and 89 dollars and I was out the door at this speedy’ for 65 dollars. I would recommend anyone go here. Just a heads up, appointment only.

A friend recommended this place to me since I’m not from the area. They gave me options on how to fix my car, and explained it so I could understand it easily as I am not a car guy at all. In and out really quick. Definitely recommend.

I took advantage of Speedy’s wonderful «back to school» coupon (for oil change and checkup). It was dirt cheap. However, the real money comes after the «deal.» I was given a list of issues that it would be $ 750 for all (minus 150 from the coupons, that would be graciously honored even after they expired). Luckily, a 2^nd opinion (Joe’s Japanese Auto) cut the crap and gave me a real «back to school» deal. Joe’s deal was to not rip me off. He inspected it and told me that the breaks were still good for a year, the belt was fine, and that the battery cable was fine (contrary to what Speedy said) After selling me a $ 100 dollar battery and labor (totaling $ 118), I was off having saved 500 dollars.
Lesson (s): Dont be lazy. Get 2^nd opinions. Corporate franchises are greedy and tricksters. Spend local where reputation and accountability prevail. Save money.

My entire family takes our cars here. They take us in for last-​minute oil changes (often for free, because they have a great loyalty program) and are honest with us about service. When I needed my brake lines replaced they quoted around 450 — I went to the dealership for a second estimate and was told it couldn’t be done for less than 900. Needless to say I went back to Speedy! I have never found them to be anything less than honest and fast over the course of fixing my air conditioner, my alignment, my brakes, etc. They’ve even advised me against unnecessary repairs that probably would have lined their pockets. Highly recommended!

Don’t go to this speedy! They are shady and lie to you. I wouldn’t trust anything they say. I went to they my oil changed and they said my brake pads needed to be changed because they only had 2 mm left on them and my rotors needed to be replaced. I took my car to the dealership because I didn’t trust speedy and they told me the reading for the brake pads was 4 and I’m assuming that means 4 mm. They said I had at least another 5,000−10,000 miles left and did not need to be replaced yet and my rotors were in good condition still. Speedy basically cost me $ 55 dollars to find out they were lying to me.

I took my car to Speedy’s after I was having some problems with oil pressure. I assumed it was a leak or a sending unit that was causing the problem and mentioned this at the time I dropped off the car. Less than an hour later, I received a call telling me that they needed to replace the rear valve cover gasket. Having worked on cars as a hobby for years myself, I was skeptical that this was causing the problem, but I decided to trust «the experts». I should have gone with my initial feelings. First, they charged me $ 55 for a $ 15 — $ 20 gasket and then charged me for nearly five hours of labor to complete the job. They said one of those hours was spent diagnosing the car, but it was pretty obvious by the outcome that little time was actually spent diagnosing the problem. Also, I’m certainly not an expert mechanic, but I’m confident that I — or anyone else with a set of instructions — could have done the job in that time.
The worst part is that the $ 450 repair, which supposedly fixed the problem, fixed absolutely nothing! I’m sure a thorough inspection would have resulted in a different –not to mention correct — solution, but instead they chose to «repair» something that was probably worn but still acceptable; no doubt the item that would yield the largest profit.
They’re fine for routine maintenance, but I’d look elsewhere for anything beyond your basic oil change or tire rotation.
