Window Genie of Ann Arbor

I had Window Genie out to clean the windows at my house last week and they did a great job. The two men who worked on the windows were courteous and efficient. They cleaned the windows inside and out and cleaned screens for all windows in about an hour and a half.

Don’t let the absurdly cheesy «Genie Power» franchise graphics scare you off — Greg does great work. We had him in to clean our gutters — especially the 2^nd-​story one and the section near the power lines.
I’m happy on a vintage wood ladder for the back of the house, but 20+ feet over concrete sounds like someone else’s project to me — someone with some licensing and insurance, and Window Genie fit the bill.
Greg was responsive via phone; I started talking to a central switchboard (probably covering Window Genie franchises across a few states, based on the questions they asked), but once I started talking with Greg things went much more smoothly.
The actual work was pretty easy from my side — Greg stopped by to scope out the work, then a few days later came back with an appropriate ladder and hoses. He didn’t need access to the inside of the house, which simplified matters some — just an outside spigot. After a lot of «please be around for this 6-​hour window» service appointments this summer, I appreciated the simpler «I’ll send you an invoice when I’m done» approach.
I’ll definitely use Greg’s Ann Arbor Window Genie again; given my experiences with central dispatch, I’m not sure I can automatically apply that endorsement to WG’s other franchises.

So I had the Window Genie guys back this year, without the coupon that led me to them last year. Just like last year, they did a beautiful job, they were efficient and fast and friendly, and the price was completely reasonable. This is a great local company that deserves your support. When you look through your sparkling windows and clean screens, you’ll be glad you called them!
