Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Clinic

I found AOM through LivingSocial seeking acupuncture from a recommendation from my doctor. Everything was well-​explained, organized, and painless. I didn’t notice a difference after just one appointment, but I am purchasing the five-​session pass and my second appointment is next week. Dr. Pim gave me some stretches to do in the meantime and gave me a general idea of how we would approach treatment options. Would definitely recommend coming here!

I received a Groupon for AOM and was happy with my visit. Dr. Rim was attentive and thorough with explaining the different treatments. I am glad I finally found an acupuncturist since moving here 2 years ago. I am looking forward to my next visit once I get over my illness.

Found Dr. Rim through a current patient and work contact. Had just been in an auto accident and needed some work on my back and neck. Though I have not been seeing him very long, certainly not more than a month, so far so good. Dr. Rim runs an excellent practice, is very knowledgeable and makes sure the patient is comfortable with what he is doing. I had acupuncture previously with another doctor and it was not a positive experience. I am satisfied thus far and will continue to see him until I have recovered from the symptoms from the accident.
If you are looking for a doctor who takes his time, helps you to understand what he is doing and treats you kindly and with respect, I highly recommend that you give AOM Clinic a try.

I agree with all the excellent reviews before me. I went there five times and have seen positive results; however my biggest gripe is scheduling. Most of the time, there is no person answers the phone when you call. If you have to leave a message, you are very lucky when your call gets returned within one hour or two. Sadly, I have to seek another acupuncturist who has a dedicated receptionist. My last calls didn’t get returned for days. If you don’t mind playing phone tags, I recommend seeing this doctor. It’s even worth it when there are promotions going on.

I found Dr. Rim through Unilocal and was very pleased with the treatments I received. I had suffered an injury in my right leg and knee and through cupping and acupuncture I received relief in only a few treatments. He would also determine stiffness in my back and shoulder and would provide immediate relief. He is very professional and was easy to talk about my ailments and he quickly determined a custom treatment that fit my needs. I would highly recommend Dr. Rim.

I have been feeling pain on my right upper back, and decided to try acupuncture treatment at AOM Clinic through Groupon deal. After my first treatment, I’m hooked! Mr. Rim not only did acupuncture but also cupping, moxibustion (which is sort of like a heat therapy using dried plant materials called «moxa» that are burned on or very near the surface of the skin) and some herb therapy. He was very attentive, he explains everything thoroughly, he gave me two exercises to do to minimize the pain, and lastly asked that I come see him once a week. I came out feeling so much better even after the first treatment. I’ve only been seeing him twice and will be three times this week and I sure will continue to go until the pain is gone-​gone. :)

I found out about the AOM Clinic by accident. I was given a name of a friend’s acupuncturist who I called and emailed but didn’t return my call until 3 minutes AFTER Mr. Rim’s call. Timing is everything and I truly believe everything happens for a reason.
I didn’t know what to expect at all. All I knew is that I was sick and tired of going to doctors, paying a stupid co-​pay for them to NOT do anything or give suggestions on care after a Baker’s Cyst. The problem with traditional doctors, I believe, is they don’t want to tell you how to be proactive because they want you to keep coming back.
I found out (through no proactive help of my doctors) that my Baker’s Cyst was caused by a mild case of arthritis in my knee. It was slowing down my healing and I was having problems walking and forget about working out (jogging, zumba) because I was in so much pain.
After the first painless (and I mean painless) visit to AOM, I felt a positive shift in my body. I could walk up and down my stairs with less pain. The next day I went out for my usual 2 mile walk and felt energized. My recovery has been progressing quite well. I drive 2 — 3 hours a night for work and usually am in such pain afterwards. Not anymore.
I honestly don’t know how acupuncture works, I just know that it works for me.
I went to AOM and was truly impressed with first of all, Mr Rim’s humbleness in regards to the MANY and I mean MANY diploma and certificates on his wall. He’s a smarty pants.
Mr Rim instantly puts you at ease and explains everything in a way that YOU can understand. As a trainer, I can appreciate that skill.
AOM clinic is sterile, well organized and is growing. I am excited to see what the future holds at his clinic because he is about healing the mind, body and spirit.
