Eleanor Connell School of Dance

I was once a long time student of Eleanor Connell School Of Dance. I spend most of my adolescence dancing here along with two of my sisters. When I grew up and moved away to college I began looking for jobs and thought I might try to teach. I worked a two or three different schools in that time and NONE of those school came close to measuring up to the level of education I received from this school. Miss Mimi and the rest of the staff truly teach from the passion in their souls and bring that passion to their young dancers. I would not say that their lessons only applied to dance either. They taught me how to be my own person, to rely on myself, and most importantly to believe in myself. (Miss Mimi was always telling us to stand on our own two feet and be the black sheep if need be, not to just blindly following what the rest of the crowd is doing, but to trust our own gut.) I would not be the person I am today, and probably would not have survived half of the things I’ve had to endure in my life so far, had it not been for the family and support and love I found at Eleanor Connell School Of Dance. There is no place else I would rather have gone. So thank you Miss Mimi, Miss Amy, Miss Stacey, and Miss April and all other Eleanor Connell School of Dance staff members. You have all changed my life forever and I will never forget a second of my time at your studio.
