The only reason I stay at this gym is because my house is less than a mile away. The thing that bugs me the most about this gym is the air conditioning. I mean if your going to run a gym shouldn’t it be kept at a cool temperature? Oh no. By the end of the day the windows are moist and the air is full of sweat. I can’t stand to try to go for a run when I can’t even breathe and dripping sweat. Second, the front desk staff are the least bit delightful. Most of the time when I come in the lady at the front won’t even look up from her phone to say«Hi how are you?» It’s just rude and I don’t understand how any management can let this go. I tried personal training before it went well but at the cost of golds it’s 75 $ an hour and that’s just way too much for a regular gym.

Very poor customer service at their front desk. Came in to inquire about prices, male receptionist was very cocky, arrogant, and condascending. Was yelling to try to get his points across. Very inappropriate. Other staff member even came up to the front to be nozy, but seems like a norm cuz he did not intervene. I just wanted prices!

I love this gym. The equipment is up to date and the classes are great. I also have a wonderful personal trainer, Meily Grigg! My kids also love the children’s room.

Worst gym ever. I only gave one star because it’s the lowest. If anything they deserve a NEGATIVE star. They’re so bad at their job, they make the other Gold’s Gym look bad being associated with them. They are a complete disgrace of the word Customer Service and they’re a mockery of the word Professionalism. All the staff members walk around like they’re too good to be there.

This review is in regards to their billing practices. The contract I had signed was from Jan 2008 to Jan 2009 with the option of continuing month-to-month. I had decided to cancel in April 2010 and filled out the necessary paperwork. Upon checking my June credit card statement I noticed that had been billed for the months May and June I quickly called the Annandale location and the person on the phone already knew I was calling to inform them that I was still being billed for a canceled membership. He said he went into the system and canceled. When my July credit card statement arrived, I noticed that I was charged for July. This time I went to the facility to cancel. The lady at the front desk even remembered that I came in April to cancel. She said she would make sure she would cancel it. It is now August and I’m hoping they don’t bill me again for the 4th straight month. This is completely unprofessional. I’m basically giving them $ 45 every month for services I have canceled/do not need.
