They sell products that are date stamped for 2014. Majority of their products are well expired.

Tonymoly is a great brand. This store has friendly, helpful workers. They speak fluent English and I am pretty sure they speak Korean as well. It is clean and well stocked. It also sells other brands, such as NYX (a whole display) and Skin79 (just a few BB creams).
However, this store is completely overpriced. The products sold here, in person, are twice or more of that online. I’d say, if you can’t wait for international shipping, pick up what you need here, but otherwise visit an online retailer, such as beautynetkorea, who have free shipping and DON’T double their prices.

Came in here and was greeted by a lady. She gave me a minute and asked if I needed help. She pointed me to what I wanted and told me the price. Customer service was very nice as she greeted everyone who came in. Loved that most things had a display sample. The lady even gave us wet wipes after she saw that we were testing lip gloss on our hands. There is also a sink in the corner to wash your hands. Parking was easy, right in front on a Sunday at 5pm.

I was visiting DC for Labor Day weekend and was excited to find out that there was a Tony Moly store. This store was somewhat of a disappointment. I expected there to be more beauty products and more of a variety as well. You had your typical skin care lines, hand creams, sheet masks, perfumes, etc. I felt that whatever I was interested in I could find at Urban Outfitters and for a cheaper price.

So, where can I start?
I bought Lite Essence (150 ml) for 62 freaking dollars, and the girl that was in store told me it’s similar to the skII essence (not so true) and I felt its little pricey then went online to look up the price it turns out to be half price out of what i paid. GIRLS BE ALERT!!!

Tony Moly has been opened in VA area for more than 6 months already and how did I miss this store all this time!!!
I love Tony Moly products. Their skin care items are all nice. And some are in a very cute containers.
Even in Korea I mostly purchased Tony Moly. They have really great face masks! And they are the original to come out with the snail essence face masks.
Their snail gold products are amazing. Keeps face very moist but if you don’t like sticky feeling then I don’t recommend this face cream.
I’ve used and tried out almost all of their products and I was running out of a few items and was about to restock up on face masks and massage creams… found out very recently there is a store I can go to to purchase without having to wait for days to get it shipped to me.
The employees are nice and they will help if you need help finding items that you need.

I stopped by on my way back from a meeting out in Fairfax. I have been trying out Korean beauty products and wanted to find a faster way to get my fix. I was greeted immediately by a salesgirl, and pretty much left to my own devices (my favorite way to shop!) However as soon as I looked confused, or a little overwhelmed by the choices she was there to make honest suggestions and recommendations. I was steered away from most of the BB creams in store which is understandable, since I am medium toned to dark skinned in summer, but she suggested some awesome sheet masks that have pretty much made it so I dont even need makeup most days, and the best & blackest gel eyeliner I’ve owned to date.
It’s a little more pricey than buying direct from Korea, but #1 No waiting on customs. #2 Still priced waaaaaay better than Urban Outfitters. My only gripe is that I wish their return policy was a little more open (unopened items within 7 days) since it would give you a chance to see if an item worked for you or not, but I understand since it may take a lot to import items in. It’s probably the loveliest little beauty shop attached to a 7 – 11 in the DMV area.

On a brief visit to the area, I was so stoked to see a Tony Moly store shining brightly and calling my name. It’s been a while since I stepped inside a Korean makeup store after moving to the isolated area that I am in now– so I went a bit crazy. Also, I love Tony Moly everything! The workers were really kind & helpful, and their products are great. So why the bad review? Well, it was only after I got to my hotel and realized that I was short changed by one of the cashier. She was very apologetic when I mentioned it to her on the phone and asked me to swing by again. I did. And that’s when I first saw the manager? owner? The girl who helped me out before recognized me and greeted me warmly while the owner barely acknowledged me and proceeded to open up the cash register and count ALL of the money right in front of me. Couldn’t you have done this BEFORE I arrived? I repeatedly told her that I paid the cashier $ 20 bill with xx cents for the $ 8.xx total, but the cashier mistook it as a $ 10 and only gave me $ 2 in change. I acknowledged my fault in not checking my change the moment it was given to me, but the worker and I were engaged in a conversation at that the time so I didn’t get the chance to. She just simply nodded and kept questioning if it was really $ 20 that I gave her. Le sigh. Then she points to my receipt and says that the receipt states that I only gave her $ 10. Well yea! Like I said, she mistook the $ 20 for a $ 10! She just shakes her head and counts her money again! The worker who helped me out earlier could only stand behind her and give me an apologetic smile. I reassured her that I was absolutely certain that it was a $ 20 because I rarely carry around cash and I had to cash out from the ATM earlier today because the area I was in Falls Church only took cash. I gave valid reasons over valid reasoning, but she was still very skeptical. My friend who was waiting for me outside (who, like anyone else, didn’t think this whole situation would have taken so long) had to eventually step in and demanded the owner to view the camera footage if she was so doubtful. My goodness! I felt so wrongly accused over such trivial manner.
Tony Moly is hard to resist so I’m not going to tell you to avoid this place, but make sure to check and then double check if you were charged the right amount and given the correct change. This is why I try to avoid using cash T_​T

Okay, Kimberly S — I’m hooked. Your review got me interested, so I bookmarked and finally visited this place and fell in love.
I could apparently no longer function without lip gloss shaped like a bunny in not one, but two shades. That, along with a handful of face masks, lip scrub, brow pencil (really rad), compact and a few other must haves.
This place is easy to find, totally immaculate and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable… like really knowledgeable… ask dumb questions here and you’ll totally get every one of them answered. I, personally, like to ask lots of annoying questions and nobody batted an eye.
I came here knowing that I needed cute fun stuff to punch up my makeup bag, but I didn’t expect to find cool stull like snail trail (not the actual snail, just their secretions, I was informed) infused skin products or pig collagen infused cream… caviar or pearl face mask anyone? There are some seriously cool and unique finds at Tony Moly.
One note — read the products carefully and do ask questions. MANY of these products are whitening, brightening, or lightening. Although these are wonderful for some skin types, they are not for my own.

Sandwiched between a 7 – 11 and a pay-​as-​you-​go cell phone store, Tony Moly’s sleek, white interior really stands out. I’ve been meaning to stop by for the longest time, but I’ve always been too lazy. Bahaha. Parking can be a little bit of a struggle since the 7 – 11 and Yechon/​Breeze get a lot of traffic, but a visit to Tony Moly is well worth it. Where else can you stock up on adorable lotions and potions potted in the form of tomatoes/​apples/​peaches? Also, Tony Moly has something for everyone. Some of their products are marketed for younger audiences (early teens-​early 20s), whereas other products are definitely more high-​end (late 20s+). You’ll find everything from skincare to makeup tools to feminine hygiene care… even cheap jewelry. Tony Moly is kind of like your one stop make-​up shop for everything you need. Oh, and I should add that they have a litlte booth set up in the store that carries NYX products as well.
I couldn’t help but pick up a *few* goodies (cough) for myself. Too many irresistible things to pass up. The sales associate working the store that day was super friendly. There were quite a few customers she had to help, but she got me out of the store a lot faster than I expected. Walking into the store can be a little overwhelming for Korean cosmetics beginners, but if my experience was any indication, the sales associates are knowledgable and very friendly. For a new and adorable beauty experience, I highly recommend Tony Moly. Korean makeup is taking the cosmetics industry by storm!

Tony Moly is the place to go to remedy that situation. Located in the same shopping center as Yechon and Breeze Bakery, Tony Moly is a tiny store dedicated to the cult Korean makeup brand king of all things cute.
I walked in with a specific mission, panda head hand creams to give as gifts for a kawaii loving friend. Not only did they have panda head hand creams but also panda head eye creams AND primers as well. Pandas not your steez? Perhaps a fruit princess facial spray is more up your alley. It is impossible not to coo and delight at all the kawaii held here.
They apparently sell this brand at Urban Outfitters and Sephora but it’s popularity has led to empty shelves everywhere. If you are looking to spoil a friend or yourself, Tony Moly is THE hot spot for inexpensive but quality thrills.

So I finally came by after realizing Tony Moly was the brand of über cute hand creams sold at Urban Outfitters. You know, the fruit shaped containers of cream that smell JUST like said container? Ahh! And I was more excited to come finally come in during business hours (after driving past late nights leaving Yechon!)! A Saturday afternoon well spent!
As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by two saleswomen. They were extremely nice and undoubtedly knowledgeable about all the products. I was a little scared that they would be incessantly hovering around me like they do in Asia (and other Asian stores!), but one girl only came up to me if she saw me scrutinizing a product and only to tell me more information that I would’ve never known! I really love that they were so informative but not pushy like «you should totally get it!» I spent a LOT of time there making sure I went through every shelf and stand and I was never annoyed by their presence (and if they were annoyed by mine, I couldn’t tell! Lol).
I’m so glad they had more than just those painfully adorable hand creams. I actually had no idea Tony Moly offered skincare products; I thought they were just funky, cool cased Korean cosmetics. I was surprised by all the various types of skincare, like «wonder water» moisture cream, snail slime filtrate jelly, a different snail slime filtrate cream with 24k gold flakes, a jelly promising to enhance skin elasticity with pig skin components, etc. I loved the diversity the store offers, from funky packaged cosmetics your friends would adore to the more «mature,» high end products your moms and aunties would love! A super big plus in my book for having TESTERS!!! Every product on their shelves and stands has a tester (except their hair dyes, of course!).
I have fallen in love with this place not just for its one-​of-​a-​kind products, but for having wonderful saleswomen who know the pros and cons of everything in inventory. Woot woot! My first of many trips here was awesome possum!

Get your Asian cosmetic and skincare fix while waiting for seats at the busy bees Yechon and/​or Breeze Bakery next door.
Affordable, good quality and adorable packaging… the packaging alone can get you. My personal favorite here is the Petite Bunny Gloss stick by Tony Moly. About $ 9 for lip tint that is very moisturizing (not just style, people! but substance!) with a bunny-​faced topper. It about killed me with its cuteness, but the color is also very good. The store manager and assistant helped me pick out a color that matched my skin tone. Some of my friends love their tomato face cream and the egg pore mask.
They have discounts on most holidays (when I went it was 15% off for valentines) and make for great gifts.

I love all their cute hand lotions and their amazingly cheap facial masks ($ 2 each)! I had way too much fun looking at and testing lots of their products. The ladies working there were extremely friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely make monthly or bi-​monthly trips for a little indulgences here and there!

I heard a lot about Tony Moly product and wanted to try it, although I never been a fan of Asian cosmetics. I visited this place yesterday and purchased a mask and Dust Out Multi Foam Cleanser which is extremely good! It works as a make-​up remover/​scrub on a daily basis! Lady who helped me with my purchase was very nice and kind. Definitely will go back for Christmas shopping.

The guy at the store is friendly and helpful and seems to tell you the truth. He seems like he really wants to help and doesn’t pressure you to buy things. I bought the white egg pore thing and he later tells me that the firming one is also good to close the pores but not necessary to buy if I would not like to. He also showed me some cool products that they do not have in the store but he showed me because I was interested in something similar. He also was very open about not making us buy the expensive product but buying things that would match our skin. I would definitely recommend this place.

In the same area as Yechon and Breeze. There are not that many parking spots because of Yechon, Breeze, and other stores but the spots open up quickly. It is also very clean.

why are all these places so bright…

i got 10 tonymoly sheet masks for 18 and then it ended up being about 16 total with the 15% off.
they have them in packages of 10 OR you can pick and choose 10 that you want. these masks are soooo nice. i’m not really sure what kind of paper they use… but yeah. the cooling sensation lasts for the entire 30 min. i got a variety including honey, snail, aloe.
they also carry missha (are they under the same company?)
but i found it a little overpriced but that’s what you pay to get it there and then instead of waiting for a product to get shipped over if you order it online.
i like that there are testers throughout the store so you can try it before you commit.

Coming down from Leesburg from a day excursion, I thought it would be a good idea to drop by Annandale for some Asian Beauty supplies and remembered this place was opening up.
I initially sampled TonyMoly at Urban Outfitters but didn’t buy anything there because I didn’t need another hand cream and I’m not a big lipgloss wearer. However, I am all about asian skincare and heard about their rice masks. I was very pleased with how affordable many of their products are. They have a wide range of price points from $ 30+ pig skin night packs to $ 5 foam cleansers which means there’s something for every budget. At only $ 2 per masks (select lines) and with their Grand Opening sale, it didn’t hurt try. I didn’t see absolutely EVERYTHING TonyMoly available for sale (could not find the lip stains) but they still have a decent selection.
The service is also excellent — clerks are extremely helpful and hold onto products for you in a little basket until you’re ready to check out. They pop out of nowhere with wet wipes when they notice you drawing all over your hand with lipsticks and glosses and help explain some obscure products without being obtrusive. If you’re anything like me, stores like Lush and Sephora can get a bit annoying with how much they want to upsell you. This was definitely not the case at TonyMoly!
If there was anything I’m going to knock, it’s the limited selection of tones /​colors for their makeup products. It’s definitely geared towards the young, girly, pubescent look east Asians are into with tons of pinks and very light porcelain skin tones. I actually struggle to look «older» for my job because I am blessed /​cursed with the looks of a teenager and will not purchase their bunny lip bars and and ethereal, romantic eye colors for that reason.
All in all, I left with 8 masks, a nail polish and a few freebies and I’m very pleased with my products so far. The nail polish isn’t OPI or Butter London quality, but at $ 4 it is still a decent buy and is on par with UO’s $ 8 nail polishes. The rice sheet mask is phenomenal! I tried one last night and my skin feels excellent.
I definitely will be back!

I absolutely LOVE Korean makeup & skincare products! I was so excited when I saw this store and that it was open! I just didn’t have enough time to enjoy myself… baby was getting fussy but I definitely will be back!!!
The prices were decent. some more expensive than online but overall a great variety of products. I think I’m in trouble…(might be spending too much time here)
