The food is great tastes freash. Service lacks they do not offer a bag you need to take one it should be offered. I have had the Big John twice. Same each time. Good roast beef on their great rolls. The chips are good also.

Someone took my sandwich while I was in the bathroom and the older man who made my sandwich got so upset and walked away saying«I can’t handle this.» I understand that the situation was shitty for someone to take my sandwich, but he needs to understand that he still needs to satisfy the customer if he’s in this industry. He completely blew it out of proportion and didn’t need to be that disrespectful to customers. The younger guys calmed him down and made us another sandwich. But overall the entire visit was extremely unpleasant and stressful –over a sandwich.

It’s way better than subway but not an actual restaurant more like a lunch stop when your in a hurry. Good for what it is

It is a great sandwich shop. They say they are fast and they are. Once you have placed and paid for your order, you walk a couple of feet to the receiving area and it is there. They make terrific bread. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a fast bite to eat and a good sandwich.

My girlfriend and I always frequent this Jimmy John’s it’s close to her place and they are open late on the weekends after we’ve been drinking in Downtown Annapolis. We’ve always had speedy service and the sandwiches are always fresh. I order the veggie and she usually will get some form of turkey and cheese. So far this store has satisfied our needs every time.

I am giving them a three star rating mostly because they are fast. I ordered online at work one day from my cell and in like 15 – 20 minutes the food was there. Now my only problem is the sandwich could have more meat on them it was lacking that but I should have asked for extra meat.

customer service gets worse with each new visit. It’s turned into another lazy bare minimum sloppy sandwich shop. The crew lacks all concern for the customers satisfaction and is killing the business … I may have exhausted my tolerance for weak service and won’t be back. Management needs to help these kids understand what things they can do to allow the customer to enjoy their experience. The overall attitude is NASFWG.

The quality of the food at any JJ is fine. It’s much better than other franchise sandwich places. But this is due to JJ’s product distributors. How each individual JJ is managed is up to the franchisee. This particular JJ is plagued by poor service. Texting while you’re trying to order is completely is acceptable. Staff members hugging each other and appearing annoyed to be working, also unacceptable. I’m not the only one aggravated with the poor service, just check other reviews. One day the manager and owner of this JJ will read these reviews and hopefully address these issues. Or another tourist t-shirt store will take this location over.

SANDWICHANDDELIVERYPERSONNELOFJIMMYJOHNS, LISTENUPANDLISTENUPGOOD. what amazing person was responsible for writing a Jack Handey«Deep Thought» on the delivery bag I just received? is this a thing that Jimmy John’s is doing? I’m too lazy to check but I really hope one of you strong independent tigers/tigresses is incredible enough to write Deep Thoughts on sandwich bags, and whoever it was, I’m going to need to be friends with you, stat. anyway, 3 stars for the sammich, 4 for the cookie, 5 for the promptness, and 7,000 for the Jack Handey quote. which averages out to 1753 stars, but I’ll settle for giving you five of them. seriously. come forward. get drunk with me and my friends. I hope to God this is one of you doing this and not Jimmy John himself.

I have had better sandwiches… There’s not much room to eat inside this place; however, props for cleanliness.

They advertise their vegetarian sandwich as a gourmet sandwich with layers of provolone and avocado spread. I barely found any avocado in my sandwich and there weren’t «layers» of provolone at all! The sandwich was mediocre, the bread wasn’t that great, and the lettuce was browning. Seriously Subway or Blimpie would have been better. Skip Jimmy John’s and find another place to grab lunch!

The service is just fantastic! Granted, it was a little slow when I got there but that was during the heat of the lunch hour. I ordered my sandwich(Club Lulu), and stood on the wall opposite from where they make the sandwiches. Even though it was packed, they had my sandwich ready in less than a minute! One minute! I told an employee that I was surprised at the speed of their sandwich making and I was told that it’s a requirement to make a sandwich in thirty seconds or less to work there, that’s crazy but awesome at the same time. I sat down and dug into my sandwich, I could most definitely taste the freshly cut meat and the bread that was ironically enough still a little warm from coming out of the oven. Oh the bread. So delicious. But wait. This sandwich was a little to big to eat whole, so I went up and asked for a plastic knife so that I might cut it in half. Needless to say, they don’t have any plastic silverware. No worries though, as soon as I asked the employee offered to cut my sandwich in half! Now that’s some outstanding service. Another thing, I got up to look for napkins, looked around for about 3 seconds and then an employee noticed my questioning gaze and promptly grabbed some napkins and asked me «napkins?» with smile on his face. I was astounded that he knew what I wanted, but eternally grateful that I now had something to clean the lettuce off my face with. I returned to my seat, finished my sandwich and got up to leave. Just as I walked out the door about three of the employees shouted«Have a good day!» I can tell you, my day was so much better after partaking in a delicious cold cut from Jimmy John’s. I would recommend Jimmy John’s to anyone interested in a cold(but delicious) sandwich(they don’t have anything hot) and anyone who wants the exact same consistency every time they go. Every time I order the same sandwich, it’s just as delicious as the first time I ordered it. I will definitely be coming back.

I went in this place with high expectations after hearing how good it was from my shorties. This is a chain sub sandwich shop, much like firehouse subs, blimpie, or subway. Very nicely decorated and the place was pretty cool. As for the food, meh. It was overpriced and the subs weren’t that good. I was hoping for so much better. This place aint got nothing on gourmet sub shops or Firehouse Subs(which is the bomb). I would rather eat at one of those places any day of the week, Subway is even better. Very disappointed to say the least.

Pretty simple: Jimmy John’s is a chain sandwich shop. You’re going to get chain sandwich shop food, nothing special but consistent and familiar. The bread is good, and they do use fresh ingredients. You’ll be entertained by the signs on the walls, and the staff is friendly and pretty quick to get your order together.

Why oh why do they choose to export the mundane franchises from the state of Illinois when they have so many great unique foods? How about an Al’s Beef, a Lou Malnati’s or Portillos? Pot Belly’s at least has the toasted advantage. Jimmy John’s is just ordinary. We ordered the«beach club» served on their freshly baked bread and turkey breast, provolone cheese, avocado spread, sliced cucumber, sprouts, lettuce, tomato and mayo. The only flavor profile I was getting was a mouthful of sprouts. I might has well been eating beef tongue as there were no other discernable flavors. Sure the sub roll was soft and fresh but little else. And no, I did not have a cold. If I want a sandwich when I am in the historic district I will be heading to the Big Cheese and Sammy’s Deli on Randall Street. Sure their food comes with some attitude but at least it’s good.

I was in town for the annual St. John’s vs. Navy croquet grudge match, and after a liquid breakfast of bud light and champagne, I was starving. I passed several tables full of alumni snacks and was on the verge of turning on the charm when I spotted someone holding a Jimmy John’s sandwich wrapper. If I was a dog(shush), my ears would have been pointing forward. I HAD to have that sandwich. So I pulled up the Unilocal app, ditched my friends and scrambled towards Main Street, dodging townsfolk and tourists alike. The campus JJ’s smelled like home(I used to cashier at one of the two locations in Gainesville, FL). It was also packed. The staff were extremely efficient at getting people in and out of the store as quickly as possible; despite a line of 15 I got my Turkey Tom within five minutes. Why the fixation? Simply put, the french bread is fantastic. Beyond that, the ingredients are fresh, there are a million combinations, the house chips are legit, and I love the snarky signs on the walls. $ 5 for an 8-incher isn’t too bad a deal, either. I left JJ’s cradling my sandwich like a football, and if it wasn’t for my long history of friendship with Ellen S, I would have said no when she asked me to share. As it is, we both went back there for dinner(this time for my beloved Beach Club). I left my heart on Main Street.
